Clapping is apparently disrespectful according to the principal. Clearly dont know have to resolve issues. First, a student lost his phone and therefore the 6th grade counselor decides its a GREAT idea to take away 3 students phones, just cause they were in the area even though they didnt do anything. Second, doing that goes against their cell phone contract that they made every student sign. The only time in which adults can take away a students phone is when they are using it during class times, taking pictures of others, or using it even though the adult told them not to. Those 3 students didnt do any of that, yet they still get their phones taken away. Lastly, they cant deal with one kid who climbed up a metal enclosure. They force students out of the lower yard because they didnt want to attract attention. But doing so, attracted EVEN MORE attention! In conclusion, this school should probably hire some better staff cause they clearly dont know what they are doing.

One of the best middle schools in San Francisco. Choir class is the best of all middle schools. Kids really learn stuff and have fun.

I was happy for my friends to walk the stage so of course the appropriate to do is to clap and cheer for your community. But apparently clapping is disrespectful and rude to parents, which is not true at all. The principal didn’t let us clap for any of our friends and sent us back to re-walk the stage if any student clapped

Okay, it was an okay school. They really do tolerate bullying to an extent where someone was in the hospital and the kid who was the bully was only suspended for two days! Also theyre incredibly understaffed and they really dont care about their students. The only thing was good is the arts program, and even that was sketchy.

I heard that this school used to be excellent. That was not our experience, unfortunately. Since transferring here, my daughters grades went from As to Ds and an F. That, despite our continuous effort at communication with the teachers. Her F was due to a plain miscommunication in handing-in assignments. My daughter became depressed and extremely unhappy. There was zero instruction in math, the kids were told to do a page of problems, without any explanation or teaching of skills to do so. Very disappointing, it is obviously not what it used to be.

They help you out with ur problems they want the best for their school and the teachers are amazing and they make the day of school really fun and the physically education classes that presidio has and the teachers they make fun activity for the kids to play

Your experience here typically depends on what teachers you have and how responsible you are as a student. Just my personal opinion
