After two kids and five years, this past Friday was our last day at Modern Education Family Childcare, as our younger child is moving on to preschool. Auntie Siu has become a beloved part of our family, and well miss her dearly. Shes gone above and beyond anything Ive ever heard of at any other childcare, and her love for her kids is obvious. From working with us to manage our sons allergies to thoughtfully sending home-cooked food home to my wife when she was pregnant, shes been a gift to our family.In the covid-era reopening, theyve been particularly careful, and its clear that theyre following all precautions, from consistent mask use and disinfecting hands and surfaces to avoiding social contact outside of childcare hours. If youre lucky enough to join MEFC, I cant recommend them highly enough.

Siu is a caring provider who feels more like a family member. She’s warm and instantly connects with little ones. Home cooked meals, outdoor time throughout the day, family festival celebrations, lots of play and reading, and learning Chinese. Love Siu and her family. Our kid still asks for her by name 2 years after we stopped daycare, now that she’s school age, and refuses to let anyone else watch her if we need to leave her for a few hours in care at odd hours. Siu is our go to for childcare!
