TERRIBLE STORE! I called and asked if they have AirPods in stock and they told me they have 2 now, but can’t put it on hold so it’s better if I go grab it rn. My roommate drove me there and turns out they do have a the item, but they haven’t registered them yet so they wouldn’t let me buy it even that I came all the way to downtown. The manager didn’t apologize AT ALL and act like it’s my problem like???? Never going to visit any Staples in my life thanks

The toner and flash drive were ordered on line and ready and the pick up went smoothly with efficient clerk.

This place is great! I found them from Gaoogle and they got back to me with a quote within hours. Their prices are reasonable and their quality is excellent. I had a specific request (gold bulldog clips instead of staples) and they were able to overnight them to get them to me on time. I had a last minute small addition and they added it and I was still able to pick up my order quickly! Next time I need printing I would definitely use them again. I do not regret using them and you wont either! Professional, quick, and great service! Thank you!!

Beware. Idk what is going on with this store but i ordered a simple printout online, paid extra for express service and when I went to the store two hours before closing, there was already about three other customers standing around waiting for service. They said workers were not answering the phone or coming to the door. I knocked, called, no answer, left. When I came back half an hour later no one was waiting outside and an employee stood near the door eating a candy bar. I knocked and she just shook her head. I tried to ask if printer was broken? Where was the print out I paid for? But she just walked away and I didnt like having to yell through the door.Printed somewhere else and am going to call for refund now.

First time going there for shredding service. Very good experience. One colleague on training his supervisor trained him explaining to him about everything while helping me check out. She didnt waste any of my time and did perfectly. She said thank you and have a good day, very polite and professional. Ive been doing retail for 7 years, this is just grand. Thank you, will be back.

The service at the Van Ness store in San Francisco is so bad it was almost a parody. Upon entering the front door I noticed to my right two employees, both of them too interested in talking about their personal lives to greet me. So I turned to the heavily tattooed girl behind the register and asked if Staples carried desktop microphones. Instead of saying excuse me I didnt quite get that or something equally polite, all she could muster was a long-drawn-out what?.So I took it upon myself to browse the store. Not sure if I had looked everywhere, I returned to the two people at the front door who immediately stared at the bag I was carrying before they even acknowledge my presence. When they did listen to the question I had for them they didnt look me in the eye, but instead looked off to the side and said probably have to go online. To which I answered I didnt walk all the way over here for probably. Obviously that was the end of our conversation for them.No wonder Amazon is beating them up. Perhaps the boredom of working all day in an empty store is what made everyone surly, I dont know, its not my problem, but Im never going back.

Clean and fully staffed

I Arrived here on a Sunday evening at 6:40 PM. the website and the Google hours showed closing at 7 PM. With 20 minutes to spare I thought I would be taken care of quickly and efficiently as the staff would want to be leaving and go home soon as well. The half closed gate with three employees sitting behind a desk and reading the newspaper wouldn’t answer the door or even look my way as I knocked quizzically. Finally grabbing the attention of the senior employee, he strolled to the door to ask me what was wrong and I could point to the website as well as to the Google posted hours that the store will be open till seven. His response was I’ll speak to a manager and turned around and walked away. Assuming that he was still on the clock but unable to work a full shift because let’s get it straight, the store didn’t open till 11 o’clock that morning and it was now 630 that is a total of 7 1/2 hours.The Service and disregard to posted hours of operation is the reason I will not come back to this store or any other Staples across this beautiful country of ours because you do not represent what it is that I and many Americans value. Thank you for this clear display and commitment to lack of honor you so keenly and deliberately displayed.

Went there today trying to ship a package. Young lady spent 10 minutes getting my shipping information, only to later call her manager and telling me that they dont do international shipping!?Seriously, Staples, why dont you just dont do shipping at all? Or better, just ship to random counties of your choice but not anywhere else.

The printing stations work really nicely, significantly cheaper than I remember (less than $7 for 50 copies)

The gentleman that helped me tonight was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He knew exactly where the composition books were located and immediately took me there when I entered the store.

Visited today intending to buy a tablet. First person I met was the manager who couldnt care lass about me and hardly even made eye contact. Apparently hes too good for this job. I continued with the purchase until the two till people tried to make a hard sell for about 3 minutes of the warranty just as I handed over my card with 2 people queuing behind me. At which point i walked out. Avoid until they wise up to respecting intelligent people.

Nice people, basic selection of office supplies to keep work going, copy center with binding and other services.

Shady employees lie about returns because they simply dont want the inventory counted against store. Other staples store confirmed they were lying. Toxic culture in this store no doubt driven by management.

This is a HORRIBLE Store. I went there 2 different times. The Printing dept can not Print anything in COLOR!!! The manager of the print dept Carol Dubon never told me I needed a special print card and she REFUSED to assist me. She left & clocked out. She rolled her eyes at me like a 15 yr old girl. What type of management do they have at this store. Never got anything printed. Do NOT recommend this store. There are others.

This review is only for the copy center in Staples.Great pricing for copying at $0.10/B&W. Computer use is $0.30/minute with no minimum charge for computer *ahem* UPS copy center (~$3.99).The copy station has two copy machine which can cause a back up in the event of more than two persons (of course). Luckily, theres a FedEx copy center off Van Ness a few blocks if need be.My frustrations will the copy center is the customer service. It is with repeat (three different occasions) I have experienced horrible customer service. The staff at the cashiers are friendly and greeted me at every occasion.A staff member at the copy center who seems to always be there from the 8am-5pm shift during weekdays has a hate my life, hate this job look and attitude to her demeanor. I understand this may be a monotonous job but please show some effort in your client service, as you are in the industry of servicing clients. Wish you the best of luck and perhaps just some team motivation is what you need to turn your efforts around.

The staff in the print center are always extremely helpful. The store is a little small so it doesnt have everything you find in a larger staples.

Kelli went out of her way to complete my order of business cards, this despite their cutting machine being down while they were waiting for the technician to arrive she cut my cards by hand for me instead of having me wait until the tech arrived. I am in town for a conference and arrived without my cards so Kelli really helped me out!
