We did the beginner classic vase class with gail! She was great and we got to be so creative! We can’t wait to see our finished project! What a great day date and a unique one too! Thanks again! We will be back!

Do not buy a groupon from this place! Listing at $94 to make two vases, which quotes a $180 value. Not so, its worth $55 each if you look it up on their brochure at full price. So I called and asked if I could make a wine cooler instead, was told yes, before I bought. A week later the owner called me and said I could not use the groupon for a wine cooler. I asked if I could apply what I paid for the groupon toward a wine cooler instead and was told I would only get a $23 credit for the groupon! I paid $94 but she said that was not my problem as groupon only reimburses her at $23. Obviously she doesnt understand how groupon works. Its to promote your business and get people to try so they would come back. I will never patronize a business with such a clueless and rude owner. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Very friendly and helpful in getting started with glass art. Would recommend to even the least artistic who is interested in melted glass art.

I have recently got back into working with fused glass and love it. The environment at SSG is fun, friendly and professional. A wide variety of projects and classes are available that they make easy to complete. For the beginner or the experienced you will enjoy your time at this studio.

Oh my gosh. I love this place. You can make all these different projects like vases, wind chimes and bowls and you decorate the whole thing by yourself. And it is just fused glass. So you glue glass on glass in other words. You dont need any special talent. What great gifts for like your parents. Something home made by you. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. I go back again and again.

We had a group of 7 and we were all inexperienced and a little nervous. We LOVED our afternoon at Sarasota School of Glass and were impressed with our creations. We all loved it and would definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you Sue!

Fantastic classes, great help from friendly instructors, and lots of project ideas. Would definitely recommend for a fun activity to do!

My wife and I attended the date night last week and had a great time each making our own projects with the assistance of a teacher. The instructor was awesome and gave us a tour of the facility before we started our projects giving us an understanding of the whole process a fuse glass. Highly recommend taking a class. for date night they even had some snacks out for us :-) we cant wait to see how our projects turned out after the firing process. Really fun!

Sarasota School of Glass is the best glass studio in which I have created art glass. Fun. Friendly. Helpful. I have worked glass for many years now and I happily travel to Sarasota to do so even though there are studios closer to me.

I’ve been to several of their classes and always loved it! All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I can’t wait to go back again.

I took my 11 year old grand daughter and Im not sure who had the most fun! We did the swirl vase class and learned all sorts of glass making tips as we created our masterpiece! Pay the extra for fusing, much more fun.

This was my second year in a row that I have vacationed near Sarasota, and visited SSG. This place is amazing. The teachers and staff are so wonderful in class and helping me get my vase before I headed back to Chicago both times. I had such a great time last year with my boyfriend, that I had to bring my sister back this year. My vases are adorable!! I actually have timer votive candles in them and love when they light up in the evening. Keep up the great work SSG. I will be back!!! I wish I lived down there so I could attend more classes..

My daughter & I came for a class on vases for my birthday. We picked up the vases today and I was pleased with mine, but my daughter Robins was awful. It was supposed to be a Christmas vase. Christmas red & green! She even consulted you about the colors as the red looked orange but you said it was the correct color. Guess what? The Christmas colors turned out to be lime green and orange! Big disappointment! Im glad she and I had a fun day but not to do it again. Kathy

Fun and fantastic. Will go again. Thanks for the teacher sue 2. Lol. She was patient and showed us tricks for colors and glueing. Was able to tale our time to do it the way we wanted and didnt feel rushed. Definatly recommend.
