Both of our boys take lessons with Ben. He deserves more than 5 stars. He has made swimming fun while teaching new techniques to our oldest, starting with simple body movements that are the bases of different strokes. Our youngest (3) would not even put his head under the water without screaming before starting with Ben. He is now putting his face under to swim short distances and floating on his back after a few short lessons. We love Swimsrq so much! We don’t see ourselves ever stopping our lessons!

We’ve had many different swim instructors throughout the years but this is the quickest I’ve seen my kids progress. They really like their instructor katelynn as well. We had to cancel once and it was very easy to schedule a makeup session as well which I appreciate.

Our son adores his instructors, he calls them his “little friends.” He’s made such incredible progress in a short amount of time. My daughter has been taking lessons here for about a year! When we first started she was terrified of the water and now she LOVES to swim with no floaties. The instructors and entire team have been wonderful, instructive and patient. It sets my mind at ease knowing my 3 year old can swim now! I am going to also enroll my baby as soon as she is old enough to start lessons. Highly recommend!

We paid for the intensives in June and I wasnt sure if it would be worth it because of the cost, but I came to learn that the one on one time was invaluable. My son was ready and he loves the water but he was always wearing swimmies prior to these classes. He needed that time with a coach to help him learn to swim by himself even though I have taught in the past, its hard to teach your own children. Now that the classes have ended, hes now swimming without the swimmies, and we always make sure an adult is in the pool with him. We play swim class and do different strokes. It was well worth it and I signed him up for more classes because he loves his teacher and I want to encourage this passion. Thanks guys! We appreciate it!!

Swim SRQ has been great! We decided on the 2-week intensive program for our 2-year old and 5-year old daughters. They teach the skills necessary for your kids to swim, float, and be able to get themselves to the edge of the pool to get out on their own. My kids no longer fear the water and cant stop showing off their new skills. We signed up for another 2-week session and will consider long term lessons to maintain their skills! Highly recommend!

My daugter has been taking swim lessons with Ms. Jenn at SwimSRQ for the last year and we couldn’t be more pleased! She started at age 2.5, and over the last year has progressed into an awesome swimmer! She loves the pool, and now knows the proper way to swim and to float.

We have Casey as our instructor for my granddaughter Juliana. She is terrific. Patient and caring, and Juliana looks forward to going. She is swimming like an Olympic champ. Would highly recommend.

We had a few weeks of lessons with Petar before deciding to pull out with covid on the rise, but he was super nice and took the time to address each kiddo in the class and assure us that our son would get better and better as the weeks progressed! They were also super understanding about putting a pause in due to covid and even waived the 2nd weeks charge from their normal two week notice cancellation.

We’ve had a great experience with SwimSRQ. My grandson started with private lessons at age 3 and moved to a small class at age four. He loves going to his swimming lesson! The instructors have been great. The staff communicates well and it’s been an overall fabulous experience. We go to the HealthFit on Clark Road and it’s a lovely pool. In Florida, every kid needs swimming and water safety—don’t hesitate if you have a little fish that needs instruction. 🐠🐠🐠

The kids love the classes so much, they cant wait for the next class. The classes are really fun, yet full of learning. We took swimming classes at several other places, but this is the most professional, the kids really learn very quickly and more than in other swim classes. I also like the fact that is is so easy to manage the scheduling online.

What a fantastic swim school! The teachers & staff are all wonderful and really know how to work with the children to pull out their greatest potential. At the beginning of the summer my son was terrified of getting his face wet, now just 2 months later he is swimming underwater confidently! My daughter and I learned a lot from Miss Linda! She was very kind and patient, progressed us each session and really made the classes fun and worth the time. Safety was always first and what differed from classes we had before is constant teaching of child and parent safety awareness in multiple situations. Two of our kids go to SwimSRQ several times per week and they really love it! Swimming instructors are very good and experienced, the location is easily accessible, there are many classes for any level of swimming experience to chose from. The last two summers my kids have taken swim lessons at SwimSRQ and my kids have loved the instructors and the lessons. I am continually impressed by how quickly my children have progressed with lessons here as compared to other swim schools. The entire lesson in filled with continuous instruction and while swimming back and forth would seem to get boring, the instructors keep the kids engaged the entire time (we have had both Hunter and Ashley and both are phenomenal). Additionally, as a parent I have found the level of flexibility of the program to be unparalleled. Josh and Annie formed classes just for my children and their friends and were awesome about allowing us to extend the lessons through the dates that worked for us. The level of involvement from the owners is what makes this business exceptional. They are responsive, organized, communicative, and most importantly experts at swimming instruction. Amid the pandemic this summer they have ensured that the kids are socially distanced, and the instructors wear masks. It is the only activity I allowed my kids to do this summer and I have always felt completely safe while my kids were there swimming. A true gem in Sarasota, I am so glad I stumbled upon this great program with exceptional instructors and owners!!!

We booked swimming lessons with SwimSRQ while on vacation this summer. It was the best decision we made!! Josh was great to work with while setting up our times - he was quick to reply and willing to work around our plans! And we cant say enough about our instructor, Jenn! My 2 year old LOVES Coach Jenn! I previously had private lessons at our home and my daughter didn’t make the progress in a month that she did in 2 weeks at Swim SRQ. The entire staff are professional, knowledgeable and make learning how to swim fun! My daughter was timid the first day and by the last day of her 2 week session was putting her face in the water the entire lesson, jumping in, kicking, and was able to swim to the wall and get herself out. We will be signing up for another 2 week session as well as getting my 5-month old started. I highly recommend Swim SRQ for any of your swim needs.

My 20-Month-Old was terrified of the water. But after just a few lessons she started to love it and now she gets so excited when she knows we’re going swimming! Coach Linda is so good with the babies, and I feel like we make progress every lesson.

We’ve loved swim lessons with Swim SRQ. We are currently enrolled in the Mommy & Me class which has been very good for my now two-year-old. My five-year-old daughter is in a class with just one other child and she’s made great improvements since beginning lessons with Swim SRQ last year. Both of my children are set to begin intensives next week and we’re really hoping for them to be swimming on their own by the end of it. We’ve loved all the instructors we’ve had especially Casey and Hunter. I highly recommend this company to everyone helping their children to swim and to learn life saving strategies.

All 3 of my kids are learning how to swim with SwinSRQ. They have the best instructors and are incredibly accommodating. They take every possible safety precaution for COVID without compromising the quality of instruction. My 7yo went from being afraid to put her face in the water to jumping in and swimming under water like a mermaid. My 4yo who wouldn’t go in a pool now loves Mondays because he gets to go and my 22 month old is kicking, blowing bubbles and can find the wall and climb out safely.

SwimSRQ has been amazing for our 5 year old, after a failed private lesson attempt with another business and not much progress being shown we decided to switch to SwimSRQ. Within 3 short lessons our son was swimming independently and diving for the toys on the bottom of the pool.The instructors are all so amazing and welcoming. We have had so much fun these past few weeks watching our son thrive in the pool and we are very thankful for SwimSRQ and their dedication and patience!

Our 3 year old daughter loved getting lessons from Josh. As a former collegiate swimmer, I wanted to get my oldest daughter in the pool and comfortable at an early age. We were able to book lessons with SwimSRQ through their website while on vacation and she was very responsive to the coaching. Our daughter was able to streamline, kick effectively, and quickly became more comfortable putting her face in the water. The rates are VERY reasonable for getting lessons directly from a former NCAA swimmer. We would recommend swim lessons with SwimSRQ to any of our friends and family.

My 3yr old is usually attached to me and usually cries or whines when going with others, but she took to Annie right away and had the best time during her lesson.
