The entire experience from scheduling, having to reschedule, and the class itself was exceptional. The scheduler is very accommodating, professional, and friendly. The instructor was wonderful at her job. Some CPR classes are boring..especially when you’ve taken them several times. This was different. She was informative, she focused on the most important concepts of CPR, and she had a great sense of humor, which made the class entertaining and the time flew by. What a great CPR class. Instructor was very informative and made us all feel very comfortable while learning the importance of CPR on adults and infants as an individual and as a team. It was great practicing the AED and compressions on the model with the other students. I feel that if I ever find myself in a situation where I may have to do CPR on an adult or child I will be a lot more confident, calm and ready. KUDOS to Ruth the instructor! She was wonderful!

I recently took a BLS class with Amy. As an X-ray tech I’ve taken many bls classes but never performed CPR on a real patient. She discussed the real things that happen upon cpr administration, complications that may arise and what to do. I feel very ready and confident in my skills to help someone in need. Best class ever.

This facility really cares and the owners have gone above in making interesting and helpful props to illustrate points as well as having an ample supply of Annies and kids to practice skills. Amy was fun, experienced, kept it lighthearted, but was professional and realistic offering her personal stories to illustrate possible situations.

I just finished the BLS training here as a requirement for my medical education. The center is family-ran and is such an open and welcoming environment for new learners! I’ve had no prior BLS training before this and they broke the basics down and made it extremely easy to understand. Thank you so much to everyone who put on our class yesterday. A group of us, 18 nursing students, attended the day long ACLS program and it was awesome. The staff is VERY experienced and knowledgeable and made the class fly by. We learned so much and felt engaged the entire time. I feel that I really gained a firm grasp of what was taught and feel confident with knowledge provided. It as a lot of fun :) staff was so kind and funny.

Compared to other centers. the ACLS session at Landes Emergency Training was the best I have been to in my 8 years of classes for ACLS. The instructor, Rocky, was very knowledgeable, thorough and professional; covering all the skills of AHA ACLS requirements with particular emphasis on high quality CPR and a strong understanding of the Mega Code steps. The classrooms, equipment and friendliness of the entire staff made this experience a very positive one. I definitely will attend other classes through Landes Services in the future.

Had such a great time learning, they made the experience fun and educational. Learned quite a lot about heart rhythms and causes as well as the medication needed. I would recommend everyone go to them for any of the emergency certifications!!

I was happy with my experience from start to finish using L.E.T.S.I mistakenly opted for the mixed BLS course (half online with the AHS and half in person) but was still satisfied with what I learned.The in-person class really cleared up a lot of questions for me and our instructor ran the class efficiently without any wasted time.Ill be using LETS for all future CPR classes and Im glad I followed other nurses recommendations.

I am a 911 Dispatcher for Police, Fire, and EMS. I reached out to L.E.T.S. for info on how I can be more effective guiding someone through CPR over the phone. This can be challenging at times when someone is frantic and I want to be good at it, and effective because every second counts. They helped with me some great information that I can definitely use!! Very helpful!!

Best BLS class Ive ever taken! Ive been taking BLS for years for work. Typically its a long, drawn out and boring class. Not this! I took the online portion then met with Ruth for the hands on skills. It was quick, efficient and, the level of competence was on point. It was so nice to deal with a down to earth real person. Not a person on autopilot with no desire to complete their job. I had a few questions, Ruth answered them with more knowledge then any instructor Ive ever had. Every time I called the office with a question about registering, Ruth answered quickly and was super helpful. This will be the only place Ill be completing my renewals! Dont waste your time and money on the other duds out there.

An excellent class! CPR can be really dry and boring if you’ve already taken if a number of times. This class was informative and enjoyable, I would highly recommend this course for your new card or refresher.

Just got back from a two-hour session with Ruth (and Rick) Landes during which the essentials of CPR, use of AED (automated external defibrilllator), and Heimlich maneuver were covered. And indeed they were covered thoroughly. Ruth, who led the session, did not move onto the next topic until she felt certain we had absorbed the material that had just been covered. I feel confident now that faced with a medical emergency that required these very important skills I would be able to offer help and perhaps save a life. I cannot recommend LETS highly enough.
