I would say the kindergarten and first grade is good. The kindergarten teachers work very hard and make school exciting and happy. So five stars for the teachers! Campanelli also has magnet program which has all the high achieving children from all of schaumburg. I would say the 3/4 grade teacher is efficient but the 5th grade math (one of them) teacher is a total let down, there is no teaching per se involved, plenty of slide show and lot of smart comments by one Ms. Dur..sl.g. many parents in common groups are quite disappointed but have no means of dealing with such bad teaching. The teacher has limited capacity to explain simple concepts. The kids are taught higher grade mathematics and are not taught the concept of any topic. The children have to follow the coursework without understanding anything. Its very disappointing that a highly rated magnet program can have teachers who do not make math exciting and inculcate the love for the subject.
