Well worth it. Not only will you get a workout, you’ll also learn good technique and constantly be challenged. Classes are not intimidating and built for all levels of both fitness and boxing skill. Duane (owner) takes pride in running a clean shop is very easy to work with.

Best boxing and fitness gym in Arizona. I was always intimidated to try a boxing class until I walked into this gym. The trainers actually know what they are teaching and highlight on proper technique and form. They are also super friendly, full of energy, and experts at their craft. I have been to countless gyms across the valley, from corporate style to small fitness studios and have experienced a huge difference in the environment at the Pound. Going to this gym has made working out fun and enjoyable. You can literally take a boxing class, a strength class, a HITT class, and even a yoga class all in one club. I will be a lifelong member and will continue to recommend this gym to everyone I know.

We recently held a corporate event at the Pound Gym for about 30 employees. This event consisted of 3 separate custom boxing sessions. Our vision for this event was that it would align with our 2019 company theme of Sweatin The Details and be an overall a good time for our employees. Duane B and his team far exceeded our expectations!Our teams had a wide range of boxing experience. Duane did a fantastic job of adjusting his instruction to the individual needs of each participant and encouraging our teams to push themselves beyond their comfort zone. The Pound Gym facility and equipment was clean and in great shape. And the overall vibe was AWESOME!As someone who had never boxed before this event, I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I entered the gym. In addition to our corporate event, I also attended one of Duanes early morning sessions. The Box+ Basics session was perfectly designed for individuals with different boxing experience and has encouraged me to try boxing for fitness again.

I see some reviews that have given the gym 1 star and I believe these are personal attacks from bitter people or competitors. The gym is immaculate. Please see the pictures I provided or stop in and see for yourself. I think they have several world champion trainers and the facility is the nicest gym I have seen in Scottsdale. The classes are busy but not over packed and the instructors really know what they are doing. I wouldnt believe people who leave one star reviews for almost every business they review, seems like hate speech to me! Enjoy The Pound!

Big shoutout to Duane. He was so friendly and even though I came to a class thinking it was just going to be cardio, he made me feel at ease even though I had never done boxing before. Since I didnt have any equipment as I came in so clueless, he was so kind to lend me some boxing gloves. He also made sure to check in on me during class and was very patient even though Im not the most coordinated person. He helped me with form corrections and also gave me tips and advice. He walked around the class as he was teaching and he made sure to encouraged and continue to teach other people as well. It really shows that he cares as he made sure everyone was doing their best.He also put on great music that kept us energized. I really enjoyed the partner work that he had his due to and his students were very helpful and made me feel at ease too.I hope I can come back soon when Im in the area.

Pretty Dirty? Really please see the pictures! I think someone wants to write a poor review out of spite. This gym is cleaned, daily, please tell me another 5600 sq ft gym that gets mopped door to door everyday. Oh and if you need hand sanitizer, we provide it for free so you dont have to bring it. Lotion and q-tips in the bathroom and some of the best classes in the Valley. We cover all the bases, so if you have something negative to say, keep it moving we dont have time for frownie faces!

Humble and friendly environment where everyone checks the ego at the door. Great gym with top notch boxing coaches. World Champ Rick Roufus coaching out of here and offering one-on-ones. Something for everyone depending on what outcomes you are trying to achieve and based on your personal goals. Highly recommend checking it out!

They have an advertisement on Facebook. I made a comment about the photoshopped picture and some guy name Duane was aggressive and extremely rude. I have a home gym and a trainer and if I didnt I would definitely not visit this gym. Who wants to visit a gym when a worker there is acting like he has roid rage online and another employee is laughing at his rudeness. Im so glad that I saw the negative review left here and after witnessing the employees online acting aggressively and ghetto I will make sure that no one I know in Scottsdale visits this gym. For such a tiny company you would think the behaviors of the employees wouldnt be so trashy.

Great place to get fit or learn and improve your boxing/kickboxing skills. They have 10 time world champion Rick Roufus there doing one on one taining and excellent group classes as well.

I went to this Gym Last Week ! Wow ! WOW WOW! I have been to a handful of Gyms this one Tops the other 4 gyms in this Area its Clean there Very Kind When You Come in Every Time!!! I just Signed Up for a Year ! Great price also opposed to other Gyms! Plus i didnt Realize it Until he Walked up to Me it was KICK BOXING LEGEND RICK the JET ROUFUS I Couldnt BELIEVE IT was Him !!!Thats Whos teaching me Lessons Wow !!!one of the GREATEST FIGHTERS OF ALL TIME!!! i am so Happy With my New Gym !!! I Highly RECOMMEND THEM ! clean Professional Environment ! Also Very Friendly Gym !!! I Was at the UFC Phoenix Fight Card 2019 I saw RICK Roufus signing Autographs ! There was a Crowd Waiting to Get there Autograph Signed by The Greatest American Kickboxer !!! He is Really also a Great Coach the way He teaches Gym Students !!!
