Had the worst first impression. No were under the directions that I was sent were the building’s number of “sing your style” also at the entrance theirs a sign with all the businesses that do resident in the complex and not one of them was “sing your style” I waited over 20 minutes for my first voice lesson and tried calling numerous times and also sent numerous text messages without one response. I find it really inconsiderate to take advantage of someone’s valuable time as that is distasteful especially since it was my first day off in 2 weeks. Well you know what they say, a first impression is a lasting one. I didn’t hear back until the next day. I just don’t understand the lack of communication. Well it’s disheartening that this is what I experienced because I was hopeful this would work out especially seeing all the online reviews to this studio being the real deal. But, I suppose that is only a facade. Those reviews are so old. Should’ve taken that as a red flag. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere.

I cant recommend Stephanie for singing lessons enough! Her direction as a vocal coach and her demeanor in lessons is precise, dynamic, full of great energy, and very supportive! I studied virtual voice video lessons from out of state and it’s given me a safe space to continue learning during these self isolating times. I highly recommend voice lessons with Stephanie Swann, founder of Sing Your Style Studio if you wish to grow and develop your singing or speaking skills.

I don’t usually post reviews but I felt I compelled to in this case.I like to sing along with my favorite songs. I usually only sing when no one can hear me or if I’m at church blending with the congregation. I was wanting to improve my voice but was unsure about singing solo in front of someone. I have been studying private voice lessons with Stephanie Swann, Sing Your Style Studio, throughout my life. Stephanie Swann is a professional, high-tec voice specialist that has worked with many clients in person and online through Skype Video and FaceTime for over 17 years. I would consider without question, Stephanies private coaching to be the best way to study voice; especially during the 2020-2021 pandemic. I have noticed many positive changes and improvements in my voice as she assists to brings out the authenticity and integrity of what lies deep inside me.

It has only been a month and I can already hear and feel an improvement with my voice. Stephanie is an amazing instructor and knows exactly how to guide you to owning your voice. By far the best mentor/coach I’ve had! I don’t know where exactly to start, but Stephanie has a Down to earth personality from the moment you walk in. My husband and I attended voice lessons as a couple for several months with Stephanie. My husband had no prior voice training and my prior voice training was always group (choir) focused. Our voice lessons were our favorite dates. Stephanie was great at working with my hectic work schedule so that we could attend regular lessons. Her energy and enthusiasm for music is infectious. She was always kind and supportive when working to improve our voices and the techniques were very fun (and functional). Watching my husband grow in confidence and skill from a strained, quiet, limited range to the more powerful, free, and extensive range he wanted would repeatedly drop my jaw! The ONLY reason we stopped lessons was our work was moving us to different states in different time zones - if we move back to Arizona we will definitely be giving her a call!

With only a few seconds of meeting Stephanie Swann in my first online singing lesson I could tell she was an amazing teacher. What I learned in my very first private music lesson was life changing, as Ive always wanted to learn how to sing, yet didnt have the right skills. I was guided to voice balance very quickly. I would recommend Stephanie without reservation! I also will never think I need to drive to a lesson again, as studying online worked as well if not better for me as I was more relaxed in my own home, not needing to fight traffic.

Stephaine is an amazing vocal instructor not only will she let you tell her about your personal life (drama, why youre there, complaining ect) but she will offer upbeat and enthusiastic responses to keep you from straying and help you stay focused on your musical goals. She is very very fast paced, something that takes getting used to but if you want to learn fast and learn right shes the person you want to see! In just one hour my VERY first lesson I was able to notice the things I was doing wrong and started correcting them, thats AMAZING. Driving 70+ miles one way was certainly worth it and I will be doing it again this week!

My daughter L.B., who is now 12, has been taking lessons from Stephanie for about 4 years. I honestly cant say enough good things about Stephanie, the way she teaches and the quality of lesson she gives.Stephanie is unique. She is one of the most patient people I know. I have never seen her angry or irritated. She is always calm. She finds different ways of approaching something if one way doesnt work. There have been a couple of times when my daughter has gotten discouraged and Steph takes the time to find out what is wrong and then does her best to help fix the problem. Early on we had an issue with stage fright and Stephanie gave us lots of help and would call with suggestions! She treats all her students, regardless of age or ability with respect. When she is in a lesson she gives her students all her attention. Also, you can have an in person lesson or via Skype. Either way, the quality is top notch! Stephanie is also flexible with lesson times. She does have a lot of students!!!!Over the past four years L.B. has improved tremendously. She used to sound a little nasally and like most singers would pull on some songs. Those problems are gone. If done properly, the technique Steph uses allows a singer to sing without pulling. Truly, singing clearer and more beautifully.Every once in a while, SYS holds a showcase where singers can show off what they have done. These are NOT boring recitals. These events are usually free and are held in unique, fun venues such as a small elegant theater, at a park (That was so fun! We had a grill out and everything!), and a roller rink!If you want to take voice lessons from a certified Speech Level Instructor who is an amazing teacher and person, do yourself a favor and call Sing your Style Studio!
