We had an amazing experience with Developing Minds. Our daughter spent 3 years at DMA and loved every year. April, Deana and Kayla plus all the teachers and staff are wonderful people who will love your children as their own. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a great experience for their child. Great educational programs and communication with the parents. Can’t safe enough good things, we have had a great experience. They were so kind and patient with our toddler who was having a really hard time adjusting to being away from me after covid. She now happily walks into school and talks about her teachers and friends constantly! Thank you for taking such good care of my daughter!!!

Developing Minds is amazing; The teachers care so much about the children and are so knowledgeable about young children. They provide an array of activities to stimulate the mind and the body and social development as well. This place is a blessing for all children. My children love DMA. They are the only place that provides time for the teachers to continue learning how to be better teachers!

Developing Minds Academy was a place for our little one to call home. All of the staff is wonderful and our little one (after too many transitions) found a lot of comfort here. Not only do they have incredible teachers, they went above and beyond during COVID to ensure the safety of all the kiddos and DMA staff alike. If kinder was offered again this year, we would’ve paid the extra money to keep her there for another year. Thank you Developing Minds for a wonderful start to our daughters education!! We are forever grateful!

DMA is the best preschool I know!last year our preschool closed due to Covid 19, and we didn’t know when they’ll reopen. After 3 months with two toddlers at home I was looking for a temporary preschool for them. And I’m super happy that I found DMA. My daughter is very shy, and we were afraid that new school will be very hard for here. We decided to enroll our children only for camp and go back to our old preschool. A week or so later we saw how happy our kids were when they went there and coming back, we decided to enroll them to school year. The teachers are amazing. They love the kids so much and my children absolutely love them. The admin staff take everything seriously and making sure that all kids feel safe and loved. I highly recommend anyone who’s looking for good and carrying education to check DMA.

Developing Minds is an extraordinary school, and it is without hesitation that I wholeheartedly recommend them to teach, nurture, and support your beloved child during these crucial developmental years.We thank our lucky stars we connected with Developing Minds after a sudden move back to my hometown of Phoenix.  Our daughter was just over 2 years old and was welcomed with warm, caring arms by the staff at DMA.  She blossomed with all the enriching activities like yoga, art, story and music time, sports, gardening, and the playground full of resourceful goodies.During our 2.5 years at DMA, we have delighted in watching our child thrive in a vibrant community full of teachers with their fingers on the pulse of the latest and greatest developments in childhood education.  The directors are passionate about their school and always worked with us to accommodate our needs, exceeding our expectations.  They truly became a support system for our entire family during these unprecedented times.We have since relocated to Brooklyn, NY and it is even more clear what a special place DMA is as our daughter confidently navigatges new territory with her dynamic spirit, ability to express herself and feelings, and awareness of when to take a mindful breath.  Even her new school is impressed!Thank you Developing Minds Academy for all that you do and for caring for this next generation of thinkers, leaders, artists, learners, and just all-around good humans who are built on kindness.  We are forever grateful.

From what I’ve seen afar, the staff dress code is unprofessional, and I don’t think it is appropriate to be around children like that. Overall, from what I’ve heard from another parent the teaching and covid safety is perfect. But I wouldn’t bring my child here due to the unprofessional dress code.

Our two sons have attended DMA for a little over a month now and we have been in awe of how engaged, loving, detail-oriented and wonderful the owners and teachers are at this school. My favorite part is that they expose the children to so many sensory and creative experiences. True exploration, growth, and fun originates with play at this age and I love that this school focuses on kids being active albeit in the arts, outdoor play, yoga, dancing or other activities. This school has a great balance between being professional, while also being realistic, understanding and easy going. I strongly recommend this school as a place for your child to experience joy and learning in a supportive and nurturing environment!

Fantastic school, my 3 year old daughter loves it! She has food allergies and they have been very accommodating. I love that they include yoga and karate for her during the week. Her teachers are wonderful and I fully trust them to take great care of her. She is learning so much. We are lucky to have found this school. 😊

My son had the greatest experience at DMA! The staff couldn’t have been more caring and accommodating. Curbside drop off was amazing, especially having another child. The school has a phenomenal emphasis on social-emotional development and mindfulness. Yoga and the sports were great. This school lets your kids be kids while guiding them on being good humans. Strongly recommend!!!

This is the most wonderful preschool I highly recommend them. The staff is amazing and truly care about the kids. My son absolutely loves it and is now teaching me yoga he learned at school!

I cannot say enough great things about Developing Minds Academy. We switched my son (1+ years old) about 6-months ago from a different daycare and what a difference it has made! He loves his teachers who give him a lot one-on-one attention, the space is design for lots of exploration and keeping things fresh, and Deana and April (directors) are amazing. Highly recommend it!

Developing Minds Academy is THE place to have your young children in Scottsdale! We have had our children in Deanna and Aprils care since they were around 4 months old. Outside of family, there is no one we trust more with our childrens care and development! DMA is the BEST place in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for your child. Our 4 year old attended 2 other preschools before attending DMA, and we toured about a dozen others. Deena, April, Yoga Amy (as my son calls her) and all the teachers and staff are exceptionally well trained, caring, compassionate and fun! Our son looks forward to going every morning, never wants to leave and has never complained about a negative experience. Plus, curb side pickup and drop off is super convenient!

We love DMA! Our son loves going to daycare/school each day. Hes always happy when he leaves. They take great care of the kids and the staff is always friendly:) We highly recommend DMA!

I usually dont take the time write a review, but I understand how important it is for a parent to find the perfect place for our children. We absolutely love DMA!! My 2-year old loves going to school and even asks on weekends if he can go. So many great things: kids practice spanish, they do yoga, learn about emotions, the playground is very natural oriented (they even have a chicken). His teachers and everyone there has been amazing to us. I have nothing negative to say about DMA
