Awful experience trying to learn biology here. The course materials were old and seemingly pieced together from multiple different classes. My impression is that after 2 sessions here that teachers will give you responses to issues that they wouldnt dare say to your face if you were there taking presencial classes. Also, my TA got busted for saying insulting things about students on her public Twitter account.

They keep spamming my email address despite unsubscribing and telling them directly I am not interested. Very unprofessional.

I was hoping to get aid while in school. I was led to believe that would happen, right up until loan day. Its normal with any college, but still just as damaging if youve made plans. Plan ahead for time to fight financial aid.

They dont honor their word and timeline although you have to bust your but to honor theirs. My class has been waiting patiently for months for our final projects to be graded and to receive our TESOL certifications. Im sorry but this is just ridiculous! What about people that have been waiting on this certificate to get a job?! This is prime hiring time and many of us may be missing out. Its unprofessional and unfair. We put it so much hard work and ON TIME. How about some respect for our time and effort? This makes me so sad and disappointed. Im searching for where else I can post my heartbreak...

I should have gone with UofA...ASU is the Worst College I have attended; Professors are slow, rude and completely unprofessional. They expect you to remain professional, as long as it benefits them, but forget the fact that as the student, you are the one investing your time, and your money into them! Majority of my professors have never emailed back after several attempts at contacting them; I have had 2 professors get so forgetful towards the end they didnt even take the time to grade a few of the last assignments...which affects MY grade, that I just wasted both my time and money on participating in the course. I feel the financial aid office is on a script regarding questions or concerns as each time you call you get the same exact ineffective and unclear answers. The advisors are a waste of time; you wait days sometimes a week or more to get in for an appointment that lasts 30 mins to help guide you successfully through classes, however, following every single appointment I have left feeling more confused, irritated or even incompetent. Regardless of my question asked it is ignored and responded with, you have x amount of classes left, take them at blank level OK, so do you have specific classes that you would recommend that would benefit the path of my degree? with a response of : its a matter of interest, you can search for classes on the asu website class search page. Doing this route has resulted in me taking classes for nothing--they dont benefit my degree. I feel shameful that I chose to go to ASU, pay for tuition out of pocket and go into debt with loans to cover extra costs...while I am able to obtain my degree, the personal costs that it took to leave ASU with a degree were not worth it.

The best learning experience. Perfer this over a four year institution. I was hesitant to pursue anything online (Horrible experiences in the past), however, ASU knocked out all the fear of distant learning. Whats so great about ASU oonline is thier Organization. This system is very organized- all the lectures, reading materials, assignments, and educational videos are all posted. SUPER AMAZING!!! Plus its all free while working at Starbucks

Today march 22, 2016 I requested information for the Arizona State Art program for my daughter, I submit the online request for information and 5 minutes later a lady called me. Im from Mexico so English is not my first language, I requested to the lady who called me an Spanish speaking representative to talk to.Her answer was: Im sorry but for the program you have to read, write and speak perfect EnglishMe: But I told you, the program is not for me, is for my daughter. She grew up here in the U.S.She answered me back: Well, Im telling you the reason why we dont have Spanish speaking representatives.Me: Ok, Thank you.She treat me in a rude manner and with no attitude to help me at all. Arizona State University has a Very Good Prestige all over the world, students (and parents) who speak so many different languages are giving that prestige to the school. I dont understand why the English Only attitude.
