Im going to finish the Product Management course here in the Seattle Product School, where I got the opportunity to gain proficiency with the intricate details of PM work from educator Farhaz Karmali. This 2-month course has been amazingly useful to me to get instructed into the universe of item the executives. The course is extraordinary, and expects commitment to learn. You get what you put into it. The materials and content is extraordinary, yet in particular the type of teachers. Farhaz has been a remarkable directing voice into the PM climate. He has the information, tolerance, and is extraordinary at showing ideas with unbelievable measure of subtleties both in principle just as from his own insight. Enthusiastically suggest this course as a venturing stone into item.

Im about to complete the Product Management course here in the Seattle Product School, where I had the chance to learn the ins-and-outs of PM work from instructor Farhaz Karmali. This 2-month course has been extremely helpful to me to get educated into the world of product management. The course is intense, and requires engagement to learn. You get what you put into it. The materials and content is great, but most importantly the caliber of instructors. Farhaz has been an outstanding guiding voice into the PM environment. He has the knowledge, patience, and is great at teaching concepts with incredible amount of details both in theory as well as from his own experience. Highly recommend this course as a stepping stone into product.

I recently completed the 5 day intensive Product Management Certification course at the Product School and although it was no walk in the park, it was unbelievably enriching. You definitely get what you put in, our instructor, Maureen Keating, was amazing, not only does her experience shine in her teachings but her methods were stellar. If you are thinking of moving into product management, I highly recommend you speak with a student advisor and start out with the PM certification PMC™, if you have a 2-5 years experience, go for the Product Leader certification PLC™.

I attended the online cohort in January & February, 2020. There were the typical, minor challenges with an online course... occasional audio/video hiccups to work around, who is sharing a screen when, etc. I was very thankful that online courses were offered though, not being close to one of the physical locations. I greatly enjoyed the class, my instructor, my fellow students perspectives and the guest speakers. The fact that Product School doesnt take absolute beginners helps to insure that you will be hearing and seeing insightful remarks from your fellow students as well and I appreciate this more now that Ive taken the class than I did before starting. Our instructor, Mark Tan, listened to the students closely and adjusted both the material and focus based on where the students were in our professional understanding and needs, which was fantastic. If the class was taught extremely rigidly it would have been a lot less enjoyable. We had a total of four guest speakers during our two months, which allowed the students to get a lot of different perspectives and hear about different experiences during QnA. This was one of my favorite parts of class and I hope all the instructors do the same with their classes. My advice before starting Product School is to read the entire book in advance and to seriously strive to have either a new product (big) or feature improvement (medium) in mind before starting, because theres plenty of other reading and homework and you dont want to be struggling with those two pieces if you dont have to. My advice to Product School is to have their LMS course material and canned presentations professionally edited and updated, as minor typos and mistakes can be distracting. Overall, Id very much recommend product school to anyone who is 1) adjacent to product (marketing, design, dev) and wanting a more cohesive understanding of the portions you have no experience with, 2) those getting started on their own product management role and 3) Anyone that is already in product but would appreciate being brought up to date on current perspectives and jargon. Enjoy!

I recently finished an 8-week Product Management training session with Swati Goel as an instructor. What a great experience! Swati brings a personal approach to her coaching and ensures that all students career aspirations are addressed through her tailored guest-speakers selection and concrete examples. As an experienced IT project manager, this course allowed me to understand the fundamental frameworks of product management and the day-to-day of a product manager. The final project that we had to work on, and exercises in-class were extremely useful and really connected the lectures to the real world of a PM.I would recommend this course and instructor to those who are looking to transition into a PM role, and those who, like me, are looking to add a skill to their current role.
