St. Joes is one of the most amazing schools in all of Seattle. My sister and I have both attended there and we got the best results possible. The best thing about St. Josephs is the teachers and the friends that you will meet there. The teachers are very kind and they will help you bring out the best in yourself. St. Josephs is a very high standard academic school that has programs for kids who are struggling or beyond the average curriculum. A great part about this school is that they make it their duty to make you a great person either through their weekly virtues or their kind and welcoming environment. This is a great school.

We joined the St Joseph community two years ago. We have a girl and two boys at the school now. We could not be happier with the teachers, the people who work there and the community. The school does an amazing job of pushing academics while also promoting kindness and empathy. I highly recommend St Joseph school.

St. Joseph has been wonderful for my son. Not only has he thrived academically, but socially as well. He has had a lot of opportunity to develop and demonstrate his leadership skills, has built confidence through sports and made lots of friends. The parent community is very involved and welcoming and the teachers have been an absolute delight! I can tell they care about my kid and are invested in more than just his academics. I appreciate the the values the school holds and the expectations they have set for the students both academic and social. I can confidently say, my son has grown both academically and in his character and I attribute both to St. Joes.

I was one of the students in the 8th grade math class, but Ms. Marion would always tell our class that we were the dumb class and that we would all not do anything in life. I was the very smartest student in the not Algebra class and my grades reflected that. I never got below a 94 on a test the entire year, but Ms. Marion refused to put me in the Algebra class despite the fact that I was doing better then most of the kids in the class. It became very apparent to me that Ms. Marion refused to move me up because both her and the administration had accepted bribes from wealthy parents who had paid their kids into that class. I have now spent 3 years at Garfield and never seen any sort of corruption like that at St. Joseph

I am so thankful for the great education that I received at St. Joseph. I went there from K-8 and credit St. Joe’s for my academic and moral foundations. I am particularly thankful for my great teachers.

St. Joes is an extension of the Fox family. We could not be happier with the school, the teachers, the leadership and the influence upon our two children. The entire community is invested in my childrens short and long term success.

St Joseph School has always been a fabulous school! It is home to me in many ways. My Dad went to St Josephs school back in the 30s when it was an all boys school! My 6 siblings and I attended St Josephs in the 60s-80s. My son went to St Joes as well! We are a three generation St Joes family,. I have had the pleasure and the honor to be the art teacher at St. Josephs and I love everything about our fabulous school. The staff are intelligent, caring and dedicated to their profession and our students I highly recommend this school! The energy here is amazing!

Saint Joseph (Seattle) is an excellent school and I would highly recommend to others. My two sons are getting an excellent education along with growing spiritually. They are learning important virtues not only in the class room but outside the classroom by going into the community to help and serve others. Each year, Im impressed with the teachers and how well they help each student to reach their potential. Both my sons enjoy going to school and even stay after school to participate in school activities such as chess, newspaper, robotics, and CYO sports. They even take the time to work after school with classmates to enter a National STEM competition, named ExploraVision. Students at Saint Joseph have been recognized nationally with an honorable mention in 2016, 2017, and 2018. Saint Joseph really creates an exceptional learning environment.

My grandchildren attend Saint Joseph. I am invited and enjoy attending many events at the school and the church. I just recently attended the grandparents luncheon. The true Christian values of community is evident at Saint Joseph.

I went to this school several years ago and ever since Ive arrived at this school I have been greatly harassed by the staff. Many of the teachers here have been touching me without my consent. In addition, my female classmates (unlike the usual feedback that they are favored) were consistently stopped and skirted by the head of middle school, Ms. Bever. If the ridiculous standards and inappropriate advances dont deter you, I dont know what will. Maybe this. Privacy has never been regarded as a right at this school. There has been a recent installment of software that provides teachers and administrators with the ability to view any students computer screen remotely.

Ignoring all the great teachers and administration, This school deserves 5 stars just because Mr. Wood is here. Case Closed.

This school has been a terrible, traumatizing experience for me and many other students. I hated this school so much because of the disregard for gender equality towards males and the blatant disrespect from teachers and principles towards many students. For example my old math teacher (nameless) would scream at her students everyday and mentally scar people such as innocent Ms.Sally. (Ms. Marian) there are so many other problems such as the principe Miss Helen Beaver who uses her tactics to scare the young children and would not listen to the other side of many stories. She only listens to what she want to hear, she is a disrespectful person to students but puts on a mask for parents. This school is going under. Did you know that this year the amount of children in kindergarten has split in half because of the terrible management of a school that has been around for so long. Although teachers like Mr. Sauvage and Mr.LaCasse are the only saving grace for a terrible run down school. (Ms.Crocker Is also a great teacher) there are some others that are good and sorry if I forgot you. Thank you for being such a stupid school.

This school was probably the worst decision I have ever made. My son was unfairly mistreated and harrassed. He would come home in dismay from what the teachers did and said to him. So think twice before you send your kid here so you dont ruin their life.

This school is fantastic. This place has helped me grow exponentially in both my emotional and academically. The elementary school teachers are fantastic and would highly recommend sending your child through the program. For teachers: My former 2nd grade teacher named Mrs. Guerra has positively impacted my childhood in ways unimaginably. Also the 6th grade science and history teacher named Mr. Woletz is definitely one of my favorite teacher as he gives a very relaxed sense to the classroom while learning about the ancient Egyptians/ancient history and chemisty. The 7th grade teacher named Mr Finn has that old school strictness, while also putting a little fun into the classroom. Mr Wood is also a great teacher and he would always come to class with a friendly smile on his face, and is a truely good person. And in 8th grade, Ms Nyguyen has taught me so much Math and she greatly prepared me for the HSPT (High School Placement Exam). Also the, now former, English and Literature teacher named Mr LaCasse had the ability of choosing books that both related and adressed todays global events and problems. The staff here is very supportive. The students and classes (~70 students) is very supportive to new students. The classes are large enough to meet all sorts of students but it is small enough to have a bond and really get to know everyone. The lunch food and lunch time kind of needs some work, as it is only 10 minutes to eat lunch, it makes up with the awsome lunch staff. I have great confidencd the great schopl administration will solve this problem. The all school masses are terrific as they are in the large St Joseph Church next to the school and is terrifically done by Father John, Deacon Steve, and Father Julian. This school is absolutely fantastic and I have so many emotional bonds over the past 7 years towards this school (Ive been at this school since 2nd grade). I would highly recommend sending your child here.

This school is a trap. I entered my 6 year old to the kindergarten and my 12 year old to 7th grade when my family and I moved here from Monreal, and got nothing but disresect. The teachers do nothing to help you understand your childrens specific learning needs and I have seen no effort to support them. They condone bullying by teachers and students. Specifically, a 8th grade teacher named Ms. Marion. She is notorious for screaming and humiliating students pointleslly and refusing to give any real teaching. Both my children have been doing horribly on standarized tests since moving to Seattle. I emplore you NOT to send your children to this school. They deserve better.
