My son has been coming here for a few months now and he absolutely loves it! You can definitely see a positive change in him! The instructors are great and very patient with the kids as they learn new stuff! I definitely recommend them if your wanting to get your kid into something positive to help them grow mentally and physically!

My grandkids recently started going there and they love it. Theyve learned a lot of self-defense moves already, and the instructors there are awesome very patient with each childs needs and very knowledgeable.

We love Premier and all of the instructors and the classes have done wonders for my grandson.

My kids have been doing this program for over a month now. First 1 of my kids started 2 months ago. Three weeks in and the other 2 wanted to start. It has been such a positive influence. Aaron is such a great instructor and does so well with the kids. Grand Master is always there to help and answer all my questions. We love it so much I want to start now. I recommend it to everyone.

I started as a young troubled teenager, attending 2 classes a week, as the months went by I started to really grasp the knowledge and personal development I was being given. 6 months down this life changing road I started to help out with the kids classes, i found a love, passion and desire to teach the kids the SAME thing that had a life changing effect on me! Now 3 years in and at the age of 18, with 2 black belts, I work full time for Grand Master James Cox and I wouldnt change it for the world!

Making the choice to join Premier Martial Arts has been the best choice Ive made. I have lost weight, gained confidence and have made some great friends. Best part is the people at Premier Martial Arts has been my family away from my family. The instructors never give up on you and they help and push to achieve your best. To the military folks - just realize that, no matter what they say to you in person while youre signing up, youre still signing a contract. 3 years is a long time, and you dont know what the military has in store for you. In my experience they did not cancel my contract when I got new orders, so I kept paying for a gym I couldnt attend. Yes I signed the contract, but I took them at their word that they would work with me if my hand was forced, and they did not.

Exceptional school with quality instructors! The atmosphere is welcoming and the people truly care. I train here whenever I am in Abilene and I always learn something while also having a great time. Special thanks to GM Cox for the detailed instruction and for always making extra time for us!

I have taken nieces and nephews and my step-daughter to karate lessons across the western US. I knew I wanted my daughter to learn martial arts when she came of age, even more so after she became the target of bullies and also had trouble staying focused. We signed up and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of lessons. She learned more in a week than her half-sister learned in almost a year at another karate instructor. I saw more focus and determination and she really wanted to work for that next belt! We are excited to see what the future brings at Premier!

Ive been practicing different styles of martial arts since I was 11 years old, over 40 years now. This is by far the most professional and well rounded dojo I have ever seen! From white belt to black belt, all people are respected and treated as equals. There are many instructors, all with different skill sets and expertise. After all these years I am , once again, a humble white belt (with a little experience ;) ) and I feel right at home. Looking forward to earning my way through the ranks, and enjoying to teamwork and camaraderie. Great place to train!

Premier Martial Arts is the best studio in Abilene! Their staff are professional, caring, and great instructors. The martial arts training of Karate, Krav Maga, and Kickboxing is exciting, fun and gets you in shape. I would I highly recommend before choosing another school to visit this one first. The staff are great with kids and treat every level (beginning-advanced) with respect and empower them. If you are debating on signing your kid up or yourself it is open to the public to sit and watch classes.

I enrolled my daughter two months ago, and I have not regretted the decision at all. Shes 12 and I wanted to equip her with the knowledge and skills to defend herself should she ever need to. However, it is more than just a self defense class (which are really awesome), PMA instructors focus not only on the physical aspect, but the over all well-being of an individual. The lessons that they teach will be a positive influence through out your childs life, well into adulthood. My husband and I are grateful that we were able to find a center that reflected our own home values.My daughter has learned so much from her instructor(s) and I can see that confidence in her more and more everyday. So much so that Ive decided to join one of their adult classes, in three short classes, I can already see a difference in my self, physically and mentally. I Will be enrolling my son in a month to join their program as well. I highly recommend this place. Not just for your kids, but as a whole family.Update - Ive now enrolled my son, and have also joined their adult program. I cant tell you how much we look forward to going to class each week. What a difference just a few short weeks make - my son is more focused, hes developing habits of self discipline, and since hes a little guy, I can see how this is helping him get stronger physically and more coordinated.As for the adult program. I seriously cant say enough great things about it. Just join, you wont regret it.

Premier Martial Arts is an amazing place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They genuinely care about everyone they train. Since I enrolled my daughter in I have seen so much improvement in her physically as well as her focus and confidence. I started Kickboxing classes for myself but then decided to take adult self defense classes also. I recommend PMA to any parent who is looking for extracurriculars for their child/children and also anyone looking for fitness, self defense training, etc for themselves. I am so very happy with my decision to take mma classes for my family from Premier Martial Arts.

My child started as a 5 year old to help with an overabundance of energy and learning self control to help with school. Not only did he quickly have the tools for self control, the way he has grown and progressed in discipline and physical strength is beyond my expectations. In addition, Grand Master Cox helped us identify some confidence issues that were holding him back and then personally invested in him to push past his fears with boldness! We are so thankful for how available the whole staff is available for questions or help any time we need anything.

Five months and a world difference! I can never thank premier martial artist enough! I enrolled both my daughters here and it was really the best thing I have done! My oldest daughter has been bullied at school for the last 3 years to the point of death threats and being told to kill herself along other things even made the news paper here in town. Her confidence was so low she didnt Laugh or joke we lived in fear every time she went to school. Now five months later she laughs jokes and has so much more confidence she talks about school she has made new friends and she is even playing more sports. I can never put in to words how thankful I am for premier martial arts they give me back my daughter back!

I dont know why anyone would want their kids to go here. The owner does not teach respect and is nothing but a bully. Premier is a great brand but the owner of this franchise is a bad representative of their brand.

My family has been going to premier martial arts since we were kids and now our kids, we have never had any issues with anything. We have learned so much in all the years there and have become like family with the Cox family. I could not be more grateful to everything they have done for us. Its more than martial arts training its growth. So if you love competition, learning, and hard work. Please go by Premier Martial Arts! 18 years worth of dedication here!

In the beginning I was pleased with classes, but due some health issues we couldnt assist anymore. I paid for the 6 months in advance ( biggest mistake ever) and not once received a call or email asking why we werent able to attend. This demonstrates they are only after the money. And to top it all after been released to go back and exercise we went back because I still had a week or two left(since I paid in advanced) and they just said we took the card out since you missed some many classes, here are the options for enroll. So disappointed.

We started PMA a few month ago, and our four year old has learned so much already. The staff is highly knowledgeable and are great with kids. We also took advantage of their party package — I can’t recommend it enough. Our kiddo’s party was a blast and we will do it again next year. We highly recommend PMA to everyone interested! Also just FYI, they have 2 easy to get to locations :).

DO NOT.. I REPEAT DO NOT do business with these people. They are money hungry and talk you into a membership. Once its signed and they have your bank information for automatic draft, they care nothing else about you and your family!! Have been trying to reach Misty almost every day for several weeks about an issue and never received a call back from her! Then when I stopped payment on our next payment she called me THAT DAY. She was very rude so I asked for someone higher and she said she was the owner.

The owner is very unprofessional and so rude . We paid our dues and after looking at our bank statements they drafted $100.00 more !! When we called the owner to dispute the charge he refused to refund us our money and was very rude . Please beware of this place !
