Johnny Gyro Karate is the BEST karate studio in the area. You will feel right at home. They not only learn karate from the BEST, but the kids learn self confidence, self defense , focus and control. We have been coming to this studio over 6 years. The change what i see in my kids is amazing. They teach to the kids respect, tradition and loyalty. I cant imagine where my kids would be without Johnny Gyro Karate.! This is one well run studio, but its even more than that. It is a complete program that surpasses anything I have seen for kids. Johnny and Noel really, truly care about the kids and it shows. I am so impressed with their approach and how they address each childs needs, its remarkable. They have a gift for teaching, no question about it. They offer so much more than karate instruction by going way above and beyond that by building kids up to help them to achieve positive behavior. Johnny Gyro has been there and done that more than most other martial artists can ever dream of doing. While dozens of martial arts studios have come and gone in this area during his #1 studios decades in business, he stands the test of time because hes the real deal. Hes competed worldwide, hes defeated champions, he is a champion, hes a world class teacher of all ages and skill levels, and hes been in business since gas was under $2 bucks a gallon. Ive trained under Master Gyro from an awkward beginner to my second degree black belt, and have known him since 2003. He and Mrs. Noel Gyro are not only elite martial arts instructors, but are fair, caring and genuine people who take an interest in their customers that goes beyond making a buck. Dont waste time or money on here-today-gone-tomorrow studios only to see them go out of business within a year or two--which is what most of them do. And when this happens it will completely disrupt and discourage your kids if they are students there. When I chose a martial arts studio, I didnt settle for less than the best. You shouldnt either.

Johnny Gyro is THE place to learn Karate!In 2009, I was looking for a place to have my 6 year old son learn how to protect himself and gain confidence. I checked out the various local studios and nothing compared to Johnny Gyro Karate.In visiting other studios, I found that they were all trying desperately for me to sign up with them. I heard a lot of if you sign up today... This was not consistent with my beliefs of Karate. My belief is that one does Karate because they want to do it, not because of a great deal or a new uniform.In visiting Johnny Gyro Karate studio, Mr. and Mrs. Gyro offered my son a free class. We took them up on it and my son liked the class. After the class, they answered my questions and said that if we wanted to sign up, to return. There was no pressure to sign up and it was left for me to decide. Of course, we felt good about it and signed up.Nine years later, my son still attends Johnny Gyro Karate and has earned his Black Belt in Tang Soo Do. He has learned how to protect himself and has gained confidence. I actually started myself about two years ago.Mr. Gyro is the real deal! Mr. Gyro has a Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and several other styles. He has dedicated his life to Martial Arts. Mr. Gyro has successfully competed at the National and International level.
