My daughter attends there in the infant room and is just happy when I pick up

I am a proud parent of a student at The Brightside Academy-Frederick campus located in Akron, Ohio. I have been pleased with the A-1 services since day 1. It is the good-will and cheerfulness of the Administration Team, Teachers and Staff that continue to handle the difficult and demanding tasks without a fuss to make sure our babies are safe, secure and learned.

Ms. Josephine White is a Great Director. She cares about the teachers, parents and the children. She is a genuine caring person who has the children in her best interest.

Brightside Academy is a great center! The teachers and administration are really caring to all the children.

I have been bringing my kids to Brightsode for about a year now. I have 4 out of my 5 children who go here and all are in different rooms. My pre-schooler already knows his ABC, has letter recognition, can count up to 15, knows his colors, and has incredible manners. My Pre-K child has anxiety really bad and they work with her special needs.They also do transportation for my 2 schoolagers at no additional cost. The workers do HW and do different activities keep them busy. I love the workers and they are great!!!

Ms White is a very special director she really is dedicated to her job

The owner is incompetent and a bully of young children and babies.This place has constant problems and absolutely no meaningful oversight or inspection. My child has been sick the entire time he has gone to this place. The owner likes to pretend the sitters are teachers but the truth is the children here are poorly cared for if attended to at all. They certainly are not taught anything except that no one comes when they cry or they will be hit by a teacher if they the child hit another child.STAY AWAY!

Do not send your child to this daycare! I sent my child here and she was in the before and after care! I walked in yesterday and the staff was sitting on her behind while the kids threaten to fight each other. One kid balled his fist and started breathing hard as if he was going to hit the other student. My child was told she could not come back to the daycare becuase they need a letter saying she had ADHD so they can better help her!!!smdh Thank God other daycares in the area really cares for the kids in the community and are trained to work with hyperactive children.
