If I could give 10 stars I would. This level 3 training has a lot of hands on learning. I had a blast tonight in class. This was my 2nd year with David. He is amazing. Most professional security course I have taken in abq. The man knows his stuff.. that’s all I have to say 😁

I attended David Browns (Triad Defense) concealed carry license training. I am a weapons novice. David and his assistants did a great job of explaining the relevant laws and proper gun etiquette and safety. Many real world examples were explained. They were friendly and welcomed my numerous questions. David and his assistants have great experience and they run an excellent training. Both the classroom session and the range session were top notch.

David brown is very informative and patient with the people taking the class and explains things in easy to understand manners, if you doint understand he will explain it in a different way to try and help

I recently moved to Albuquerque from another state and decided that I wanted to be able to better protect myself and those I love. Although NM is an open carry state, I had never used a handgun before and would not even consider having a weapon without knowing how to use it safely and proficiently. I decided to take the required training for my concealed carry certificate. Choosing Triad Defense for this training was one of the best decisions I have made since coming to NM. David Brown is a master of his craft. He brings to the table decades of experience in law enforcement and this results in a “real world” approach to his training style. This man is a straight shooter (pun intended). You will be treated with respect and patience.David also has an incredible staff to assist him. I was particularly impressed with Adam who took the time to make sure I was comfortable with several different caliber of weapons as I was not yet sure what gun I should purchase. For those women that want to earn their certificate, I can tell you that there are several ladies on David’s team that are equally impressive.When you leave this course and obtain your certificate you can be assured that you will thoroughly understand handgun safety and the laws around the use of deadly force for self-protection. David and his staff genuinely care about their students and he encourages novices like me to call him anytime with questions or for advice. Use Triad defense to earn your CCW. You will not regret it.

My wife and I recently took the concealed carry course, the attention to detail, and hands on learning of not just concealed carry requirements, but law, lawful defense, and gun manipulation was exceptional. I know for many women it can be intimidating, but David and his group did a wonderful job of making sure both my wife and myself felt comfortable handling a weapon and using it appropriately.

10/10 I would highly recommend training for your guard card at any level with David Brown.Mr. Brown is very informative, has a lot of insight, and it is mission to make sure that you succeed.Whether it is questions on law, questions on use-of-force, questions on when it is okay to defend yourself, and questions about any paperwork you may need to file to obtain your guard card at any level, he will willingly help you with a smile on his face.This weeks class sessions were the greatest experience that I never want to experience again. Earlier this week we talked about hot chili, and I willingly admitted that I love very hot chili, Mr. Brown said that in that case, he would spray me a little harder with the mace than everyone else.I shrugged this information off as if it was a made in jest, boy was I wrong! I cant fault him for giving me advance notice, and I have to admire his honesty. He sprayed the heck out of me with the mace, and once it finally hit, oh boy it was pain I have only experienced one time before. I probably spent three times as long decontaminating as everyone else in the class.Mr. David Brown is a highly respectable man, and his credentials speak for themselves, I would recommend almost no one else to train you for everything that you need to become a professional security guard.I look forward to taking his level three class in the very near future.

Dave the instructor was very informative, knowledgeable, & mindful of both current, & past defensive methods, tactics, & techniques. He was also very understanding about how I have asthma & ligament damage in my knees, by giving moments to rest, but not treating me like I was fragile.

A great place to get you training. David brown is a great instructor when it comes to getting your level 1 2 or 3 for security guards . I would highly recommend triad defense for all your training needs!

This studio is by far the best in town that I have found. Sifu David Brown and his staff are courteous, respectful, and serious about their craft. They teach all ages, and I am very grateful for the instruction they have provided my children!
