I love this place. They have a great childrens program along with a verity of classes for adults. The Ti Chi class is a very mellow and easy to do class for anyone of any age group from 8-800... The adult Kung Fu classes are a great way to get in shape while learning to defend yourself and others. All the people I have met there are easy to get along with and it has in a way became my family.... come on down and give it a try...

A day after my first introductory class, which was free, I still feel energy flowing through my body. Literally, signals are being sent down pathways that I had either not been using or had become blocked, and I am aware of the increased function of my nervous system.I considered giving one star twelve hours ago because of the pain. I had a headache all night, and I havent had one of those in years. But I just couldnt stop thinking about what it must have been like for Wang Lang to spend all those years in hermitage trying to emulate some bug.But that pain has subsided, and in that place new strength. I feel upgraded in the connection between my intellect and my frame.

Very cool stuff. I like they have the complete system, not just the fighting component - the philosophy, the healing and chi/movement knowledge. If you are dedicated to learning real Kung Fu... this is the place for you.

Very friendly environment, they make learn kung fu fun and exciting. Their head teacher is professional and kind. You and your children will love this place.

Ive been a student of various martial arts over the years, and for various reasons. Simple recreation, self-control and discipline, fitness, confidence.... Out of all the places Ive studied, the program at Sifu Nics academy has brought me the most fulfillment in nearly all these areas. I am in good shape, feel confident in the skills I have learned and in myself, and - most of all - I have FUN! I look forward to all the new things Ill learn every day that I go to practice!

I have loved learning Tai Chi from Sifu Nick. He is patient and very attentive to different learning styles. I especially liked that he had simple moves so that from day one I could practice Tai Chi at home. I have enjoyed getting to know the other students. Its a wonderful end to stressful work days on Tuesdays and Thursdays!.

Sifu Nic is very good with kids. Highly recommended for parents that want to get their children involved in martial arts.

Sifu Nic Baker is friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He teaches the old Shyun style in its pure form, and students are given the opportunity to practice practical applications of all parts of the system. Sifu Nic holds high standards for all of his students; quality is very important at the Mantis Kung Fu Academy. As a student of almost 1 year now, I value the relationship Sifu has established with all of his students, his willingness to accommodate various learning styles, and the wealth of knowledge I have thus far received.
