My daughter loves this school.

I have danced here since I was a toddler and have never experienced bad treatment. The school is professional and everyone is close with one another and everyone is kind. Couldn’t imagine ancient somewhere else

My 3 year old daughter just started here and LOVES it. Her teacher Ms Ricki is a wonderful teacher and we find it is the perfect balance of structure, skill, and fun for her age.

Extremely knowledge and talented instructors who understand how to teach from beginner to expert; as well as the gifted AND the not-so-gifted. North Atlanta Dance Academy (NADA) does all it can to ensure its students have a love of dance, and the ability to perform at their own highest levels. We had tried several other studios; before we found NADA; this is far and away the highest quality for all ages and levels.

Safety, quality, aesthetics, and ethics. This is truly the best academy in the metro Atlanta area.When my daughter was interested in studying dance, I informally interviewed all the area schools, and we visited several. My conclusion then, and now after many years of observation, is that this is by far the best studio in Atlanta.NADA impressed me from the beginning with their attention to health and safety: they would never consider any other way. Even as a complete beginner parent, I could see that many studios do not give the same attention to safety (and you can see it in some studios high rates of injury). My concerns motivated me to look at ABT online, where I easily found safety recommendations. Even if I used no other measure, concerns for safety would move me to NADA.However, the quality of instruction is what is truly amazing: excellent instruction by knowledgeable, professional dancers who sincerely care about the dancers and their overall development. In every dimension, the standards are appreciated: thoughtful attention is given even to the instrumentals used during warm-ups and exercises; instructors model genuine, respectfulness and grace in comportment, kindness, and self-discipline; the education of the dancer addresses whole-child development. Dancers are provided instruction and modeling which carries into all practices and behaviors.The quality of the studio is reflected in every aspect of its work and in its productions. The NADA facility is distinctive in its beautiful layout and sprung floors, which enhance dancers safety. At NADA, the costumes are beautifully designed and tailored using the finest quality materials (yet are somehow less expensive than at other schools); the recital fees are reasonable, with performances in beautiful theatre venues; the set designs are outstanding, technically clever and beautifully crafted; the choreography world-class; and the execution well developed. In performance, students demonstrate a high level of skill and artistry acquired through careful, expert instruction.Finally, the excellence of this studio is testament to the ethics and professionalism of the owners. Through the years, my respect, admiration, and affection for them has only increased. That they invest such care and provide such impressive quality (yet with fees that compare very favorably to other studios), speaks volumes about their personal integrity.NADA has trained many highly accomplished professional dancers, and they have made a very strong and positive impact on the arts in Atlanta. And yet, this accomplishment barely begins to express the positive impact they have made on the lives of their students. Positive practices, healthy self-discipline, and strong human relationships are among the benefits theyve provided their students and families. And such joy!I wanted my daughter to have a safe experience, to develop an understanding of the art form, to develop her artistry to the greatest extent which matches her wishes, and to develop life-long healthy habits of flexibility, strength, resilience, and self-discipline. I am deeply grateful that she has had the opportunity to train at NADA, and that this great opportunity is available here in Atlanta.If you are considering dance instruction for your children, this is the best. Trust NADA; help where you can; participate in learning; and you will be ever so glad you did.

I have two daughters dancing at North Atlanta Dance Academy; one in 8th grade and one in 5th grade. My eighth grader is in the Accelerated (pre-professional) program and receives instruction in ballet, pointe, character, modern, and jazz. The faculty is top-notch with many still enjoying professional dance careers themselves, and the foundation the teachers build with our dancers has been gratifying to watch over a number of years. The majority of Accelerated dancers also audition and participate in the North Atlanta Dance Theater company and get to perform with professional dancers several times per year.My fifth grader is in the Open program and receives the same quality of instruction from the same faculty as the Accelerated program. She is learning ballet, character, modern, jazz, and I know shes looking forward to hip-hop as well.Overall, I cant imagine a better dance school in the Alpharetta, Johns Creek, South Forsyth area.
