I entered Lee’s Family Martial Arts when I was 9 and honestly this was the best experience i’ve ever had.They taught me how to defend myself in a fun way and I learned discipline and to honor my parents and siblings. My son and daughter have been attending Lees Family Martial Arts for a couple months now and they cant wait for to go to class every week! Grand Master Lee is knowledgeable and professional, always offering bits of martial wisdom and critiquing technique while Ms. Michelle runs through drills with my 3 & 4 y/o. When the two of them are teaching class everyone is completely focused and having a wonderful time.Great way to teach respect, discipline, and develop motor skills while also burning out all their excess energy in a fun activity!

My 15 year old son has begun martial arts training at Lee Family Martial Arts. He is learning to be respectful and self controlled. He loves that he can learn to use weapons in a responsible way. What teenage boy wouldnt? There is a great mix of kids there and the parents are very proud of them. Mr Lee and his wife offer an engaging, encouraging and challenging arena for children to learn weapons & martial arts

I have enrolled both my daughters here. Though they have started new I would say that my kids are learning from a grand master who knows the nuances and techniques. I really recommend this place.

My son has been attending Lees Family Martial Arts for about 3.5 years. He has become an avid Taekwondo student and this is favorite activity.Grand-master James and Michelle Lee are excellent instructors, extremely patient and work very well with the kids. I have personally seen my son not just improving his Taekwondo skills, but his overall personality also. Grand-master Lee instills discipline and confidence in all his students.When my son was little, he also attended the after school care here. He had a great time with the other kids. The kids had fun and were polite and respectful to each other, which is not what you see in other after school care centers.Overall, just like their name says, Lees Family Martial Arts is a family centered place. We are extremely grateful to Grand-master James and Michelle Lee for running the center and providing leadership skills for the kids. Thank you very much.

My daughter goes for after school and taekwondo here and she loves it. They even provide snacks during after school which reduces my burden of packing extra snacks 😀. My daughter loves Master Lee and Mrs.Lee. I can see how my daughter’s focus and discipline increased with the classes here .

Probably one of the best place for martial arts in Atlanta area. Grandmaster Lee and his family are great with kids and committed with the students in teach Taekwondo with high quality, including other self defense techniques. The class is fun and is challenging every time. Definitely I recommend this place!

One of the best martial arts training center. Mr. & Mrs.Lee are very good teachers; they take personal interest in training each student. My daughter goes to taekwando training here and it is going great. I will certainly recommend Lees Family Martial Arts to others.

Ive been training with Master Lee for about 2.5 years and my only regret is not starting with him earlier. I trained somewhere else for around 3 years prior to coming here, and I can honestly say that I learned more in 6 months with Master Lee than all my time at the other Taekwondo studio.Master Lee is an amazing instructor who truly cares about his students. This style ensures that his students learn practical self-defense and proper Taekwondo form. Some classes, Master Lee will teach techniques for escaping headlocks or chokeholds, and other classes, well do Olympic-style kicking drills. Ive attended now for four and a half years. Grandmaster Lee has been great gradually building my skills, and making sure I grow. Ive earned a black belt in Taewkondo and Haedong Kumdo from him - Taekwondo took over three years, Haedong Kumdo almost 4.The Haedong Kumdo class has a few kids in it, but is mostly guys in their 30s and older. Taekwondo is mainly kids and teenagers. Both are great fun, and Grandmaster Lees always involved - showing students how best to safely and correctly perform the techniques. Sparring plays a big role in both arts, and Grandmaster Lee guides us towards safely getting faster and more effective.Only other thing Ill add is Im currently 42 years old, and working at a job that often requires 12 hour days or longer. I attend as often as I can, working it into my job schedule, because Grandmaster Lees instruction is just that valuable to me.
