I love this school! And I am picky. As a veteran teacher, it takes a great deal to impress me. My son was happy at his previous day care until the teacher turnover and lack of qualified teachers really started to weigh on him. He cried everyday from 18 months to 2.5. He was really struggling. After a great deal of consideration (we loved many staff member and parents of where he was) we started looking to see what else was out there. Preston Ridge seemed unassuming, but we had heard great things. The Preston Ridge community has been the biggest blessing in our lives since our son was born. He is thriving! He loves it! He loves every teacher and every child and every parent. If you have a 3-6 year old, and are looking, look no further. Preston Ridge teachers and staff teach the whole child: social, emotional, intellectual, physical, and spiritual.

This school is great! The teachers are knowledgeable and kind. Most teachers have been there for many years. We were very particular about finding a good school for our boy. When we found this school from the first impression I realized he would learn a lot in this school (not only academically). It feels homey. I would highly recommend this school to those parents who is particular about the environment where their child learns and grows.

My son has been attending Preston Ridge Montessori for two months now, and so far I have been happy with the growth I have seen in him. His teachers are attuned to his needs, and always do things that are in the best interest for the children. Teacher are patient and approachable. There are excellent array of after school activities, including Spanish class, Chess, Tumble Time bus, dance and art classes, etc. The school also has a music teacher, who teaches children about different musical instruments. The school has a chef on-site, and lunch and snack costs are included in the tuition rate. Most importantly, my son loves his teachers, and he loves going to Preston Ridge everyday!

I am amazed every day by the quality of the teachers and my childs growth and development. I could go on and on about my passion about the Montessori philosophy and how that is benefiting my 2 1/2 year old, but it is really best to just go to the school for an info session and tour and see for yourself. The sense of community created by the teachers, students, families, administration, facility and class environments is so compelling to our family. It is the best decision weve made for our child, and are so fortunate for this amazing school to be a part of her early lives. Amazing school and amazing staff!

This is my sons third Montessori School, which is the best we can find in Metro-Atlanta area. My son just loved this school, including the teachers and the facility. He wants to spend 24 hours x 7 at school, with the kids and teachersApparently, those ONE start reviews were from spam accounts, as you can tell they only contain few words and they shared the same IP addresses.

We sent our older daughter to this school for 3 years about 8 years ago since this school had good recommendations and it was conveniently located near our work places. We enjoyed seeing our daughter grow by leaps and bounds. She enjoyed the school so much that she would miss not being able to go to school on off days! Now our younger one goes to the same school even though it is a bit far away for us. We think the value the school provides is totally worth the 30 minute drive! The teachers in the different rooms in the school are experienced, smart and caring. Both my kids were in Ms. Harker’s class. We really appreciate all her hard work in making our kids as well rounded as they are. Ms. Carol the director is amazing to work with as well.I would absolutely recommend this school to any parent!

I’ve known this school for over an year now. My younger one was in the Montessori system until she was ready for first grade. She had developed great social and academic skills that got her a jump start when she transitioned from Montessori to the regular public school system. I’m so thankful to her teachers, who’ve played a very important role in strengthening her natural abilities and fueling her interests.

We are in our second year at Preston Ridge and once again, I have nothing but loving words for this school and all the staff. My son could not be happier and learning more than anywhere else. They have wonderful facilities and all of the teachers are loving to the students. The director of the school in charge is always on top of everything and always keeps us informed 100%. In addition to all the wonderful Montessori activities my son gets to do, he also gets to participate in different cultural activities which I think is awesome. There are not a lot of schools that are still 100% open-minded and embrace the individuality of each student as well as the unique aspects of the different students backgrounds and culture!I wouldnt dream of any other school for us, if it was an option to surpass the kindergarten year here, we would definitely stay and continue on!

One liner - This school is like family. My kid has been going for a year and I can see how the teachers and staff are so compassionate. They take care of them like their own kids and my kid has shown tremendous visible improvement in reading, writing, math and analytical skills. We only wanted a day care, but this school has given him much much more. Some of my friends at other Montessoris have complained that their schools dont function when their county schools are off. Preston ridge follows North Fulton County school calendar, but when the county schools are off due to vacations, etc, Preston ridge still functions. Sometimes they convert the classrooms from their Montessori curriculum to a Day care, but that is ok. Considering the fact that you dont have to run around looking for child care when the county is off.The school has a very good heritage and has established a few decades to rich experience and heritage. Definitely Thumbs up to this Well oiled machine. Specially, Ms. Harker and Ms. Rosa have been awesome. On the flip side, the school could use some upgrade (little dated) and the parking spot is limited. Hence one lesser star, but nevertheless the School is Awesome and kids get a very strong foundation here.

We are super happy about the school. We looked around 15+ Montessori school in Fulton and foryth county and we are glad we chose this one. My son has been in the school since he was 2.5 years old. He was the youngest in his class for quite a long time. But all his classmates are so nice and friendly to him. Now He is 5 and he has got so many friends and learned so much knowledge including science, music, language and manner. They truly embrace the Montessori system in day to day education. The teachers and the director are very experienced as well. highly recommend.

My daughter loves it here! Not only has she learned new math, science and language concepts, but she has become more responsible, social and capable. The staff is great and they really work to build skills and character in each child.

This is a very good school. Best Montessori school in Alpharetta. My older son went there for 3 years and then joined 1st grade in a public school after graduating from Preston ridge. He loved it there and is in accelerated class since then thanks to Preston Ridge in making his roots so strong. We loved the school so much that my younger son has been going there full time for 2 years. He loves his school and is learning fast. The teachers are experienced and take very good care of children. School has good security and is cctv monitored. The lunch is awesome. I had to meet with Ms. Rhonda to get her secret recipes to make at home. Please dont go by the bad reviews as you will miss out on one good opportunity for your child. Thanks Preston Ridge as I can work peacefully while my child is under your wing!

I couldnt even get a TOUR. I have never encountered anything so snobby! I am currently building a house and am living with my parents until the house is finished. We moved out of our Brooklyn apartment where we were renters and are floating around until the house is finished this summer. My son was enrolled in a Public Pre-K Center in Brooklyn and is so sad about not being in school. Since well be living with my parents until the house is finished we decided to try to keep him in school for the rest of the year. We called Preston Ridge Montessori and encountered the most peculiar line of questioning ever. I asked if there were any spaces available and the woman started asking me where my son went to school before (public or Montessori) would my son return to Montessori after this year, she then started telling me to look into public schools. I was confused because at this point in the conversation she never answered my question about Preston Ridge Montessori and if the school would take a new student this late in the year. She then told me that they dont normally (not sure what circumstance they would consider taking a child late in the school year I wasnt given that information). I, at that point, was ready to get off the phone because... it wasnt an option for us to send our son there. The woman then proceeded to say she wanted to help me and to consider the many Alpharetta public schools. Needless to say this was incredibly insulting. If I wanted to send my son to public school does she not think that I was aware that this was an option? OR that I would be calling a Montessori school had I not known what a Montessori school is?! Im sure there are reasons they have for not taking my child, it was just such a STRANGE conversation that could have easily ended much sooner and with much less agitation had the woman who answered the phone simply answered my sole question I had about the school.
