Do you remember when Dorothy said there’s no place like home? I say that there’s no place like Rivers Academy. From my 5th grade year to my graduation, I was lucky enough to be a Rivers Academy student, and my time there is something I will forever cherish. While you most definitely will learn more than you can ever imagine during your time there, you will also make friends you will have forever, learn from teachers that will become your family, and you’ll be treated and cared for as a true individual, unlike public school where you’re simply grouped in with the rest of your grade. Here, your teachers know you by name, they show interest in your life, academically and personally, and they support you whether you’re in their class or not. As I approach my freshman year of college, my new classmates are worried about the change; are they ready for the amount of preparedness required in college? Will they be able to keep up with their work? Thanks to Rivers, I am confident in my abilities to manage my time appropriately, communicate with my teachers, and successfully complete any college assignments I will face. Success, love, compassion, and talent surround this school, and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for only the best education and schooling experience.

My daughter went to Rivers Academy. It was the best decision made on behalf of her academic and social life. She learned not just her core lessons but life lessons. Lessons she could take through college, grad school and her chosen career . My daughter was embraced, taught and inspired by the staff at Rivers Academy. I highly recommend this excellent educational institution .

From 8th grade through high school, I was lucky enough to call myself a Rivers Academy student. The amount of support and care I received and still receive (I am 21 now) is absolutely priceless. The unique, special, one-of-a-kind education that I received not only prepared me for college but the workforce afterward. My English teachers taught me what I needed to know and how to write essays, reports, and letters that I would need to know for the professional world, and my history teachers found a way for me to actually be interested in what happened in the past (I am not a history fan here…) but they never gave up and always blew my mind with their creativity. My math and science teachers had the best teaching methods through real-world situations making the material more enjoyable. The list goes on…but the bottom line is that there is no better community than I could have dreamed of going to school with. The students are so unique and friendly, and the staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely caring. There is no situation that Rivers Academy can’t handle, and I promise you, there is no place like it. I will forever and always be proud to call myself a Rivers Academy Alumni and encourage those who are curious to see what it is all about to take a tour, call for more info, and see what I am talking about :) To my Rivers Family - thank you for the best five years I could’ve ever asked for.

We love this school so much! The staff and teachers are all so wonderful and they truly get to know the students and are invested not only in their success academically, but also in pursuing their passions. What a blessing this school has been for our family! I cannot recommend it enough.
