The store is clean, well stocked, the selection of paper products is excellent, and the combination self-serve and copy center services are very convenient. The self-serve copy machines provide high quality copies, albeit being a bit costly. The staff are friendly and helpful.I was slightly disappointed that the staff in the copy center didnt know how to help me figure out the correct page size for an engineering document. I ended up printing it out a couple of times until finding out that the preview function would have saved me the wasted prints.

So I went in early Labor Day looking for a printer for my boutique.After waiting for assistance, the two people helped we were not knowledgeable about anything I needed, both the associate and tech were over talking and cutting me off not listening to what I needed, which led me to buy a printer I couldn’t even use.After working with the printer at my store for over 2hr, reaching out to hp virtual assistant I became angry and frustrated, I called the store.I was helped by David J. He was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of reassurance over the phone which led everything to being ok.I went back to the store, he asked what I need the printer for and what will I be printing, I told him barcodes , he led me to 3 different printers that would assist me. He also educated me on the Avery labels and the different between ink and laser. I needed up buying the most expensive printer only because I’m able to get 5000 pages worth of ink vs 200-600 with the other printer.He taught me how to change my ink cartridge and how to handle the toner pump.If anyone in there needs a paid vacation or a raise it would definitely be him.I didn’t feel rushed or shooed with him.He even repeated himself and reworded statements and gave analogies to help me understand things better! He also recommended the 4 year warranty which At that point he had my trust so it was sold!!David J saved this customer!!!!!

I like shopping at the Ann Arbor, Westgate, Staples store. The staff are friendly and helpful. More so than on my previous visit. A sales associate David R helped me, he was very knowledgeable about the products. I purchased an hp computer. Both David and the Lady at the help desk were both pleasant and helpful. This store is easier for me to come too

If you make an online ‘same day’ purchase order, after 2 pm it’s not available until up to 8:30 pm the following day- a 30 minute window before the business closes. In my experience, if a ‘same day’ (after 2 pm) order is delayed 24 hours + after the order is placed, you won’t get any notification of the delay.My recent print services order turned out horribly. I received a follow up call on my order advising there was an issue with my image that wasn’t detectable when creating the order or on Staple’s end but was resulting in a distorted product. I’m promptly complied- supplying 2 alternate images. I never heard anything back and assumed the issue was able to be resolved. I called to follow up on my order’s at EOB on the order’s guaranteed date and learned it would not be available for pick up until the following day. I also learned that there was an issue with one of the printers, resulting in a delay for my order and others.Customer service was okay. I sincerely appreciated the initial call informing me of the issue but I’m left wondering if I ended up with the initial botched order- I can tell from the images that the ‘back up’ I supplied was not used.While I recognize that quality can be subjective, a print shop should have foresight as to what is and isn’t worth a customer’s money. I wished I would’ve be contacted, informed there was an issue with my print that would impede it’s quality and been done with it. I would’ve been frustrated that my order couldn’t be completed but thankful that I didn’t waste time and money. In reality, I waited over a 24 hour period for a same day, time sensitive, order that was meant for the garbage. Now I’m taking my order and business to another local shop in town. I won’t be back for business again.

Words cant describe how much h this store has helped me over the years. Recently updated. Good clearance rack in back. Bathrooms. #1 Copy center. Ink/toner paper, stationary, specialty items. They no longer sell cellular phones. Near 94 Jackson Rd/ S Maple Rd. Thank you Staples

Extremely helpful copy center staff. I was not exactly the easiest customer to deal with considering the number of questions and issues I needed help with, but the staff was constantly respectful and helped me with every issue I had. They even let me finish up a couple minutes after the store closed instead of kicking me out. I definitely recommend them.

What a sh t show. Must have hired all the Kmart managers. They moved the printing paper from the front to rear so you are forced to walk through the store. Security staff are rabid and grim. I walked out of the store feeling violated. Never again.

I do not go there very often. The place is always well organized, clean, and has easy access to whatever your looking for. Many stores dont have just that certain item someone needs but they have it.!! Cashiers are always very kind.

All items are reasonably priced...and there is delivery available....all commonly needed printing services available. Took my computer in for service. Could not be happier with the service I received. Alan, the tech really knows his stuff and taught me a few things. He fixed the problem (fried power supply) and helped me pick out a battery backup and a better surge protector so I dont have the same problem again. Met the manager and staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.

No matter what... Its somehow always seems to take a long time to check out here... Ive been here several times... And there isnt always an issue with with my phone number or something and my Staples Rewards... I usually go there just wanting something right away... I have a hard time finding it... And usually get to the register quick... and yet the checking out part always takes a long time

I love this store as far as shopping and theres been a few great employees, but for sure whenever I have needed help from the copy services, I just have never received friendly services. Im sure have a load of work building up is hard, but have received much friendlier, care about you, help at Copy Max.

The management at this location is terrible. After asking for one product, she dismissed my request stating it wasn’t in store yet without even looking. After checking inventory online it designated that it had 4 in store. They asked a gentleman to look and he hardly moved a notebook to look in the overhead storage. The manager then came back stating that it was on a back pallet. Could it have been found with more effort? Possibly, but the team here didn’t even try! Where is customer service nowadays???

I was not happy at all with my experience today. I needed something done in the copy center. A staff member was already helping someone on the phone. Another staff member came walking up (Leslie) and said to me that someone would be with me shortly. She appeared to be looking for something . She then opened the other computer and started punching in information from some cards. After standing there for 5 minutes she says to me, yeah, we need a couple more hands here, and continued doing what she was doing. She was NOT assisting a person. Finally, 5 MORE minutes later the other girl got off the phone, helped me and I asked her if they enlarged pictures on the copier, she explained everything to me. I said, ok, Im running out to my car and grabbing what I need to enlarge and will be right back. By the time I got back in the store, neither of them were there to help me. Im SOOO upset.

The woman who works for the label and printing straight up needs to be fired. I never witnessed such rudeness from someone and it wasn’t even me I’m talking about! I was standing in line and every interaction she had with a customer I just couldn’t believe was happening and no one said anything. Snappy, rude, eye rolling, huffing. Listen girl I get it, I’ve worked crappy jobs that don’t pay and worked retail for years, but I have never been that rude in my life. I left the line because I couldn’t even stand it. I went back after browsing for a minuete to ask her a simple question about label sizes and she just said no sorry. I’ve had my labels printed at other staples before with no problem. So clearly she was lying. Seriously I hope she quits find another place to work that isn’t with people.

Honestly, the worst retail establishment I have ever been to. I needed help finding a product, and they simply refused to help me find it. The manager was as rude as could be, and didnt even attempt to help me. The guy at the front of the store told me he couldnt help me find the product because he couldnt leave the front. I guess there wasnt a soul working that day that could help me find the product. GO TO OFFICE DEPOT. I went to Office Depot and they directed me to the same exact isle that Staples thought the product should be in, but low and behold it wasnt there. However, this is were the stores diverged--Office Depot actually had someone come and help me find the item. I will never shop at a Staples ever again.

Went in to print off a resume for my interview. The first self print machine screen wouldnt work. We were told our infromation was removed and to start over on the second one. We did but then the machine refused to access our Google drive files. By this point we had wasted our spare time before the interview and had to leave. Was told we wouldnt be charged from the second machine either and we were. I only didnt give a 1 star review because the customer service was really nice and I felt she was actully sorry the machines kept acting up.

If I could post this review with no stars, I would. Todays insult was standing in line for the single cashier, who was working hard, while a white male manager talked into his headset about his upcoming flight plans. He watched as the line grew longer, and did absolutely NOTHING. I suspect other customers gave up and left, as I did. This is not the first time Staples on Jackson Road has disappointed...only the most recent.

Like one of the other customers, I dont ordinarily write reviews. However, the customer service I received moments ago on the telephone was terrible. I had a simple question about whether the store had a certain kind of ink cartridge, and the woman on the phone sounded exasperated by my question. I gave her the type of printer, model number, and the specific type of ink cartridge I needed, and clarified that I needed ink, not toner, After being on hold for roughly eight minutes, she returned, gruffly asked, still there? then asked me for all the information again, and followed up with I believe we have it in stock. After taking almost 10 minutes to check for a specific type of ink cartridge, how dont you know definitively if you have it or not? I dont want to drive out there and discover you dont have it. Purely out of habit I thanked her, and received a Yup, bye now in response. I think Ill take my business somewhere else.

I dont review things, but 7 frustrating days of interactions with Ann Arbor Staples has compelled me to do so.I was in the middle of mailing out job applications. All the materials needed to be on the same type of paper. Sounds pretty standard. Turns out that was a curveball for Staples.After they ran out of their usual paper 75% the way through my applications, they said they would order some more and theyd be ready w/in a day or 2. Totally understandable. Though I was a little frustrated that a copy and print store ran out of paper, I was pretty happy with Staples so far and I didnt mind waiting a day or two, like they promised.So I showed up the next day, and still no paper. I asked if they put the order in, and they said yes. So then I asked if the paper would be in the following day, and they said yes. So I went on day 3. Still no paper. I confirmed that they had put in the order, and the person told me they expected the paper any day now. Then I wised up and asked Staples to just call me when they got it in. That plan would have worked, but theyre so incredibly disorganized (a bit ironic for a store thats based on organization) that they never called. Over the next 3 days I kept calling and asking about the paper, to which they said that they expected the paper any day now. Every time before I hung up I would ask them if they still had my number, to which they would say no and that they didnt know the needed to call someone when the paper arrived. I left my number with them no less than 4 times, and received no more than 0 phone calls.So on day 7, I walked in the store, asked if they had the paper, to which they said their most recent truck shipment didnt have it. I then asked if they ordered it, which to my surprise the answer was no. No? I said. But you guys told me at least 4 times that you had ordered it and that it should be in any day now. Well, Mr. Staples said, I dont know why people had been telling you that. We dont actually order our paper. We just put in the system when were out of paper and then they send it on the truck. But its not on this truck, or any of the trucks over the last week? I asked. No, our system keeps saying that we have the paper, but we dont, so they wont send us the paper. Have you done anything about this? I inquired. No, says Mr. Staples, we have not. You are an idiot, Mr. Staples, I said. A world class idiot.A few take aways: First, were talking about paper. Their standard paper. They ran out of their standard paper, which is itself impressively stupid for a place that does copies and prints. The fact that they couldnt get more of said standard paper within a week (with incessant reminders from a guy who had just spent over $200 dollars in printing there and who kept telling them that this was urgent) is even more impressively stupid. Second, I blame myself for not going to another store. The reason I didnt (if youve been wondering) is because I needed the printing done at a Staples because it needed to be on the same paper. I didnt go to a different Staples because the closest one was 30 minutes further and the Ann Arbor one kept saying that they would have the paper any day now. Third, the Ypsilanti Staples is fantastic. When I finally bailed on the Ann Arbor Staples, the Ypsilanti one was incredibly helpful, and surprisingly well stocked in their standard paper. I never thought I would be so relieved for a copy and print store to be able to copy and print. Manna from heaven, I tell you.Oh, by the way, the Ann Arbor one overcharged me. I only noticed this when I was at the Ypsilanti Staples and was showing them my receipt. The Ann Arbor one charged me for 100 extra copies.That place is a black hole of incompetence in a universe of crap.

Then I followed the posted instructions near the items I was looking for and she got even more irritated and told me thats not how it works. She was very demeaning/ belittiling to other employees also.

I was in a hurry to buy some paper this morning, so I ran into Staples. Upon entering I noticed a display advertising copy paper for $3.99 with an EASY rebate. I thought Awesome - I love EASY. Turns out the easy rebate is not at the register, but requires a copy of the receipt being sent to El Paso TX and having to wait 4-8 weeks for my measly $12 rebate. I own a business and apparently Staples values my time at less than $12.On a positive note, my cashier was really nice. This is in spite of working for someone who created a policy designed to upset customers when they are checking out. I hope that the (probably 18 yr old) cashier does not think all companies are run like Dunder –Mifflin.I am not going to use Staples again for at least a year.
