This store is clean, quiet, and well stocked every time I visit. The printing service I frequently used for my business and I am consistently happy with their work. I absolutely recommend this location.

Incredibly poor service. I understand theres a labor shortage and people are understaffed, but the staff at this store were miserable and completely unmotivated. I was looking to buy roughly two grand in office furniture, but Ill gladly take my business elsewhere. When I asked for help regarding furniture items I found on display, it was like I was interrupting the employees social hour.

Oh my I really appreciate Joe for helping me get my homework printed. He is so skillful it is unbelievable. Nobody at fedex could help me print my slides and my homework. I am so amazed at his work and efficiency.!! Thanks Joe you are a lifesaver.

But you just wasted your company’s money.” He turned very rude and had a very bad attitude towards me. Later, he also overcharged me.

Fabulous service, beyond the call of duty. I bought a desk that wasnt in stock. The operations manager Kevin McKay called the Westland store and they had it. He said it was only a few minutes out of the way on his commute and volunteered pick it up himself and bring it in the next day. Sure enough, he had it for me the next morning. Great manager, great store.

Very rude and unprofessional service by Anita. At first told us one thing. When we returned later to make the purchase, she completely changed what she said. Instead of offering any help, she shot back and stated that she never said such a thing. Instead of being helpful or offering us other options, they basically said theyre was nothing for us. Will not be returning.

Very impressed. After a cashiers mistake caused my daughters order to be cancelled, the manager figured out what happened, fixed the problem, and offered my daughter a discount. They did all of this in minutes. Anyone can make a mistake--but if you can admit it and fix it right away, well thats really terrific.

Disgusting bathroom. Also the last 3 times Ive been here the temperature is around 80 degrees in store. Clean your restrooms and stop being cheap with the air conditioning.

Wonderful staff, very helpful to people like me who may not know the technical details of things. I should point out that the only reason Im giving them 4 stars is because they did not have the toner I needed but they did direct me to a place that did. Wanted to say Thanks for the help, and thanks for ordering the toner for next time!

I went to the copy center and Blaine helped in creating a beautiful gift project with me. OfficeMax had all the supplies I needed and I used lamination and copies on specialty paper at the copy center. My project turned out great!

I usually go to Staples but I was looking to get something laminated and spiral bound and found that the Office Max price would be a few dollars less. I drove the extra distance to their store on Washtenaw to drop off my items. I was told it was a busy day and my items wouldnt be done until that evening or the next morning but that I would receive a phone call when they were ready. The next evening when I hadnt heard anything from them I tried calling and the girl who answered the phone obviously had very little phone training because she did not speak clearly into the phone and was speaking way too fast. I told her why I was calling and she said some gibberish and next thing I know I was on hold so I guess she was transferring me. Then it sounded like someone picked up the phone and then hung up on me. I called back and the exact same thing happened again. I called a third time and was delighted to have a different person answer and they wrote down my name and number and said they would have the person and the Copy and Print area call me back when they were done with what they were doing (this was 1 1/2 hrs before closing). I never heard anything back. I called back the next morning and the person I dropped my stuff of with 2 days ago answered and said I was supposed to be called and my items are finished. The fact that I wasnt called was a little annoying but not a huge issue for me, but that would have been different if this was something needed for a business on a deadline. What was more upsetting to me was the lack of phone etiquette at this business. They market to offices and professionals but they are not very professional themselves when it comes to answering the phones, transferring calls, NOT hanging up on people, and returning messages ASAP. I dont know if they were having some kind of issues that evening or what but, based on the other review here about them, phone issues are an ongoing problem here.

I really dislike Office Max and shop here only because the store I liked, Staples, closed near me. At Office Max the aisle labels are not helpful and there is never an employee nearby to ask where something is. The aisle labels should list more of what is down that aisle. Also there should be more employees working. I always find it frustrating to go here. Today one employee did help me look up a planner that I was trying to find, and he was helpful, so thats one good thing.

I needed 3 posters completed in a day for my grandfathers funeral, and the copy and print staff were SO considerate. I was really impressed with Dan, who took care of my order. He made to whole process easy, as was willing to go out of his way on a really busy friday to help me out. I Will definitely be using their services again.

Ive used this store a couple times and had a decent enough experience, however when I went in tonight, the print associate was sexist and made me feel as though I was wasting his time. My boyfriend and I had a very quick and simple 4 page print job, we patiently waited in line while one associate was helping another customer when another associate came up to help us. Throughout our transaction, he made two separate comments to my boyfriend alluding to the fact that I was incompetent while chuckling and rolling his eyes. The first time we let it slide and let it roll off, the second comment was a see my point? comment while gesturing towards me. Needless to say we were less than impressed and left upset.

I placed a same day order for business cards and the estimated time of completion was roughly 6 hours after the order was received. I called to follow up on the order, and was promised it would be done within the promised time period because this was a rush order for us. When I arrived at the store just before closing (2 hours after the time they should have been ready) , the order was still not completed because another, more important order had taken precedent and was using all their machines.When I explained that I had called earlier and was once again promised the original timeframe because these needed to be used for a conference this week and were leaving tomorrow, I got a pretty abysmal reply that made it clear he did not care and then he simply walked away and went back to processing the other order. If it were not for how well the 1 800 go - depot customer support line handled my concerns, this would be a one star review. This has ensured we will not be using this location for any of our future printing needs.

Agree they are very understaffed in middle of day today. They did help me alter and get a printing job done, but it took a long time, I had to go look for the higher grade of paper myself because they were so short staff, and then there was not enough on the shelf..almost comical.

Joe was incredibly kind and helpful! We went in not really knowing what to get ~ laser vs. inkjet. As a small business owner, I need a reliable wireless printer and multi-copier. My printer at home was getting old, sucking up ink, and wasn’t working 100% of the time. But I wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest in a laser just yet.In just a few minutes, Joe helped me find the Brother DCP-L2550DW laser printer for only $99.99 ~ AND it included toner! I had it installed on all three of my household computers in less than 30 mins. It is fast and reliable. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and his help today. Thank you!

Officemax has a lot of things but my visit was very disappointing. The man told me there were 7-10 pens (pens designed for the 4th of July) in a pack for $1.99. When I got there and the pens were pointed out to me, there were 7-10 pens in a little cup for $1.99 a piece. The guy there showed me (who wasnt very pleasant) a pack of pens (4th of July) for $5.49 but that and the pencils were just too much money.

I accidently left my ipad air pro 128gb in the store on 9 - 15 - 2016 I felt a genuine empathy for my lost ipad pro. Apple and Verizon kinda gave me the TYPICAL runaround of Sorry nothing we could do. Rob a manager spent much time and effort looking @ video tapes. Then he referred the case to Vera @ Lost Prevention. They reimbursed me for the price of a NEW identical ipad. I felt a genuine empathy for my lost ipad pro, it so refreshing to deal with people that CARE about the Customer so much. Believe me, in my 53 years this is such a RARE event!Thank you!
