Its a dollar store. Things are a dollar, no more. I was in there today. Usually their crafts sections is filled, as well as have more crafts than any Ypsi store. But, today, it was kinda bleh. However, Ill continue going to this one because they have better stuff. =)

Just like every other place in this “great” country the employees don’t want to work.Not only do they close at 5:30pm now, whereas they used to be open at 9, but they’re closed for an hour during lunch.Although I live right around the corner from this Dollar Tree, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Tired of laziness.

This place looked as if it had a half off everything sale, empty/ disheveled aisles -- although they do have a pleasant staff working for them. Everyone I spoke with went above and beyond to assist me. This is also a great place for holiday decor.

This is the nicest dollar tree Ive ever been to.

Went in for a few items, place was in need of stocking the shelves, help up front and to be cleaned. Bought what I needed and did not wander the whole store like I do other locations. Young man at the checkout was polite and helpful, he did what he could but you could tell he needed a break as he was the only one up front.

There prices are good .every thing just a dollar. Thats not bad.

Store has a sign for 9-5 almost every day of the week. Yet the website lists other hours.

Today was alright there. Cashier was pretty ehh as far as being a cashier. It was ok today there.

Maps says they are open, but I get there and theyre CLOSED! Sure you can call, but why would you when the app says youre OPEN???

Not into knocking businesses, but this was the worst Dollar Tree I have ever been to. Being that it is in Ann Arbor across from Arborland, you would think that there is a standard. Twenty plus customers and one clerk.

A dollar store is a staple amongst middle and lower socioeconomic classes. I often find myself picking a favorite type of dollar store or a favorite specific storefront in my city and stick to it for a while. When the other Dollar Store in Ann Arbor closed, I was not sure where to get my affordable goods from anymore. After two brief trips to this store, I can confidently say I have found a new favorite. Even the usual clientele are exceptionally nice compared to average Shoppers of my area.

If I can do a negative review, I would! I was doing an exchange for a defective product. I was ignored. When I was acknowledge, he said he couldnt exchange it for me. He was going to stick me paying for a defective product. He then accused me of lying, saying how did he know it didnt work. After telling him it was wrong to make me pay for a defective product, he then continued to help other customers, telling me I needed to wait my turn, even though I was in line WAY before the other customers. And all this for $1. I couldnt even get his name, as his name tag was turned away from me the entire time. Even though this store has a larger selection of stuff, I am NEVER going back to this store again after the awful and demoralizing way they treated me!Update: my husband called to complain, wanting to talk to the store manager, on how the assistant manager treated me, ended up talking to the guy who help me. He then said he put me to the front of the line, which my husband witnessed from outside that he did not. This person LIED to my husband. He then asked if he did my exchange or not-as if I should be grateful that he did. He still didnt give his name to us. The entire time I was writing this, I cant help wonder if he treated me the way he treated me because of my race (Im Chinese, and with hatred towards Chinese during this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic). And this is the first time in my life that I felt I may have been mistreated because of my race.

We all love a visit to Dollar Tree. Cheap, convenient, usually can find things that you werent there to get. I hadnt been to one for a while before this visit. I was appalled by the store appearance, specifically the floors! The green carpet had huge stains in various spots throughout the store. It gave it a very dirty look and made me tentative about wanting to shop there. Seems like lots of liquids have been spilled and not cleaned properly. Might make more sense to have bare floors for easier clean up. Either way, I got what I came for and got out of there.

Cleaner than it was at Christmas time but could use new flooring

Our cashier was extremely rude. Asked if there was a bathroom available and she gave a nasty look and said no. When we asked if something was wrong she screamed in my mothers face saying she hates people who dont wear masks. My mother has very bad asthma and cannot wear a mask. She proceeded to yell loudly for everyone to hear in my moms face and call her multiple names and refused to continue checking us out. I will never shop at a dollar tree ever again this was the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced. Will be calling corporate in the AM also.

The line was long only one cashier the management was poor ten people was in line and no one opened up a another register after the cashier requested help very poor experience the other dollar never has any good items and very poor response from the assistant manager never has any coconut zingers when asked her response was rude I wont shop there any more I will go to the location across from arborland the line was long but cashier was friendly

Pretty dirty. Im a big fan of the Dollar Tree generally speaking, hence the overall 3 star review. This location however is pretty nasty, and definitely ranks a 1star on its own merit. Poorly stocked shelves, items strewn about the floor, and the restrooms are just disgusting.

Wow... Awesome place! I always start here... if I can get it for a dollar with decent quality, why pay more? Best deals are personal care items, cards and gift wrap, picture frames, cleaning and office supplies.

Pros: good selection, friendly staffCons: filthy place for people to work and shop. Debris on the floor and dont even ask to see the bathroom. It resembles the worst truck stops. There have been birds living in the store for years: they fly around as you shop. The exterior and parking lot were recently renovated but poor Dollar Tree still looks sad inside and has live animals inside it.

I love this Dollar Tree location. It has a huge selection and lots of different categories. I also like that the Dollar Tree is the only Dollar Store where things are still actually only $1. Tons of organization materials, a party section, toy section, school supplies section, food section, household item section, seasonal section, Etc. I try to never go get my things somewhere else before I check at the Dollar Tree.

Good store for quick pick ups of party supplies. Located in a good area and has a big parking lot. Have more items tgan compared to a regular dollar tree store. Decent staff service, friendly and helpful.

I’ve been trying to contact the district manager for weeks about an incident with an employee named Carrie. I’m sent to voicemail every time and never receive a call back. This employee in question was berating customers as she was ringing them out, going as far as to tell them they needed to “go learn English” and telling them that since she already rang an item up that they had to buy it even though they had changed their minds about it. She also spent the 5-10 minutes we spent waiting in line complaining that she had no desire to even be there. Unprofessional, racist, and disturbing. I usually enjoy my shopping there, but I won’t be able to return until I know this issue has been addressed.

I cant say Ive ever really liked dollar stores, but as far as they go... this one is good. Everything is pretty cheap, and the store itself is well maintained.

The worst dollar tree that I have ever been to. Absolutely filthy, disorganized and floors covered with empty stock boxes. Needs a good vacuuming, dusting and mopping. I will never step foot back in that nasty store again.

THE DIRTIEST STORE IVE EVER SEEN. There is literally a thick layer of particulate over everything....was the place fumigated? Its a filmy layer that has ruined most of their stuff and leaves residue on your hands. The whole store is in disarray and it looks to be a fire hazard how they pile boxes and product everywhere.

I drove over 5 miles here to get solar lights here after calling to make sure they have them. It turns out I was given the wrong information. However they had all the pens and pencils I could possibly want, only a dollar for up to ten in a pack. They may not be 4th of July pens or pencils but the kids I am buying them for will love them!

Not much to say except LOVE THIS STORE!!! The product, the people, the price, I mean come on everything is a $1. And the products are not cheaply made. I mean ceramic dishes, a full grocery section which includes fridge and frozen items and that includes meat. What more do you want.

I visited your store at 3590 Washtenaw Ave, in Ann Arbor MI today. Although I did not find what I was looking for, and thus did not purchase anything today, I did witness an exceptional employee that I hope will be recognized. While I was looking for a product, I overheard a male customer becoming very rude and loud with her. She didnt miss a beat. She somehow deescalated the situation by biting her tongue (hard, Im sure), and finished ringing him up. She handed him the receipt with a smile, a thank you, and wished him a great day, and managed to do so without a hint of sarcasm. I was impressed. But, what was even more impressive was when the next customer in line commented on the situation, she did not give into gossiping about the man. Instead, she said with integrity, I am too blessed to let someone ruin my day just because they are in a bad mood. And she carried on doing her job with gratitude. Thank you for that.

The cashier (Marilyn) who checked me out was quite unpleasant and appeared rather annoyed to have to wait on me. I spent $92.04 that shopping trip and she couldnt even be bothered to say one single word to me after handing me my change -- not so much as a thank you, just nothing. Awful, terrible, horrible customer service and I WONT be returning!!!!!!!!

Store had a great variety of Raster goodies and decor.

They had the small bowls that Ive been looking for for over a year. Kept finding the small glass bowls that were a little bit larger than I wanted, so o was very happy with my visit to the Ann Arbor Dollar Tree!!

This is a solid dollar store. Everything is a dollar. Let me repeat that: everything is a dollar. This is not one of those dollar stores where everything is actually $4. Everything is a dollar.Lots of seasonal goods, lots of cleaning supplies, lots of food, lots of beauty products. I cant say that Id buy toys for children here, but if you want some cheap envelopes for a project, some quick decorations for a party... this is your place.They even have some brand names, like Oikos (frozen yogurt) and Kleenex (tissues).They accept credit cards.

Normally this is a great location.On this occation. There was one over worked cashier and a line that was so long it took all of 15 minutes to get through it twice.

First time in this specific store for a balloon. No one was around to blow up, no biggie. I brought i stood in line as there was 2 long lines. Worker with slight attitude told me i should of waited by baloons(already tried noone around). Told me next time call someone over not to wait in line as it takes up time. Took 30 seconds to do (not long). Lady in linw behind me even chuckled to how she questioned it.. think employee needs to learn how to speak with better customer service skills.

Much smaller than the dollar tree directly down the street in Ypsilanti. Carries most of the same products. Helpful and yet friendly staff

My go to spot for disposable cutlery and serveware. Its a dollar store so understandably it has a certain aesthetic. However I wish it wouldnt look so downright dreary with the white tube lights. Somehow the salespersons cant seem to keep up with keeping things in order either, always looks like a tornado has passed through the store.
