Absolutely LOVE these people! Signed my son up back in fall of 2019, and hes grown so much. My child was having issues at his school with bullies, and the instructors here, have helped teach him patience, understanding, strength (in the right form) and how to properly handle the people who give him problems. These teachers, Kent, Gary, Mollie, Colt...have watched him grow tremendously, and are such a huge part of his life! I will always recommend Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in Appleton, because these people arent just his teachers, we look at them as a second family and have enjoyed getting to know them better over the years!

Instruction is well thought out and the instructors clearly care about the students. If you are looking to try something new highly recommend.

I started training at Gracie Appleton because I was training with a group of people in a different system and they started there, and I didn’t want to be the only guy who didn’t know it. I am glad I did. We all pretty much abandoned the system we were training in and went with Gracie Appleton. I am a shy person and the people there are great! I met a lot of great people and am glad I joined! I would recommend Gracie Appleton to anyone and everyone!

Our daughter has been training at GJJ Appleton for almost 4 years. It has taught her so much, the most important being that she is worth defending--a lesson every parent of a teenage daughter wants them to know. The instructors, leadership, and owner are excellent at what they do and care more about the individual than turning a profit. I would HIGHLY recommend this school and these people to train with and entrust your children to.

Great school with very knowledgeable instructors that have a passion for Jiu Jitsu. Always approachable with question/concerns. Its the best place around for beginners that want to be able to defend themselves. Gracie Jiu Jitsu has changed my life and at GJJA, La Familia is very strong. Everyone has the focus of bettering everyone and egos are checked at the door. Keep it playful is their mindset, not medals and trophies. Jiu Jitsu is for everyone and they do a good job of making everyone feel safe and welcomed. I could go on, as I have nothing but good to speak of Gracie Appleton.Also, they play good music during rolling sessions, just saying :)

The instructors live and breathe Gracie Jiu Jitsu. The classes are not intimidating -- except for the first one, lol. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I have learned a lot, been humbled, felt pride and met new friends. My 13 year old daughter now takes classes and loves Gracie Jiu Jitsu as well. Highly recommended.

I currently am taking a jiu jutsu class but its only for one hour. Whats the longest this place goes for for a day. And how much does it cost monthly

Although I love the concept of Gracie jiu jitsu and initially enjoyed the program, it became apparent that the ownership has control, ego, and bullying tendencies. I have attended a number of other Gracie schools around the states that have been fantastic, however, if you are looking to better your skills, have a good workout, and have a sense of family and community, I would not recommend Gracie Appleton.

Been training here for over a year now. The instructors are great. They are patient with any level of knowledge and are there to help. Most important, they are all pationate about jiu-jitsu, which is why they are so effective in their teaching.

Highly recommended! Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Appleton has great programs geared toward women’s self-defense (Women Empowered), kids (Bullyproof) and adults (Combatives and Master Cycle). Very welcoming environment.
