Best facility! The staff are amazing! We had our daughter here for 2 years and were really sad she moved on to grade school and wouldnt be attending anymore. We absolutely love and miss everyone at The Academy

I feel compelled to write this review. Our FIRST day of picking up our child, there was a random woman in the room reading to the group of kids with her mask BELOW her chin... When I grabbed my child, the woman proceed to yell at two kids from the side of the room (where my child was located when I arrived). It was an unacceptable tone and was not dropping to their level to explain to the child as they posed was their disciplinary style. I really wanted to like this place... after the first walk through, we felt good energy! We really liked the room teachers and the manager, but unfortunately, our first experience was not good and this business didnt felt unreliable. After investing $1000 a month for two days a week and then being responsible to pay for days that my child cant go due to any COVID outbreaks, I should be able to feel secure that they are doing what they say they are going to do... like wear masks at ALL times, especially when they are within 2 feet of our children, and not raise their voices to discipline (which is really unsettling considering my child cant communicate to me if she is being treated unkindly). Maybe under new ownership, they will get these kinks worked out, but I wanted to write this because I think its important other parents are aware. It really is a bummer!

Kids get yelled at a lot!!!! Stressful environment for kids. My son moved schools and is so much better! Took a long time for him to recover from this place.

Had a poor experience after having my children there for several years. During COVID another child tested positive. They shut down the whole class, and had everyone come get their kids. Thats great, thanks for looking out for us. But, the bad news is that the following 2 weeks they werent allowed back in. Mrs. Beth and the Academy said that were were still liable for payment. WHAT? What sort of unethical stuff is that? My child was exposed AT YOUR SCHOOL and its your fault that my child cant attend, but I should still pay? If I go to a restaurant they dont give me a bill and no food. If I buy groceries, I only pay if I get the groceries. This is unethical and therefor I have unenrolled both kids, and wont be back.

We are so fortunate to have found a the Academy when we moved to Golden. Our son just turned 1 and this was his first daycare experience. The staff has made the transition easier for all of us and we feel that they are handling current circumstances the best they can. Our son has the opportunity to play with new friends, new toys and new activities. We look forward to watching him grow and thrive in an environment that is safe and stimulating.

We were lucky enough to have found the Academy when we first moved to Arvada in 2015. Our daughter enrolled in preschool and our son in the +12month class. Today, our daughter is in the summer camp program and our son will be starting in the kindergarten class soon. Needless to say we’ve had a long, wonderful, run.Many of the teachers have been there since we arrived. Our son loves walking through the school - all of the staff saying hello to him. They really feel like a part of the family. And shouldn’t they - they’ve been helping to raise our children and prepare them for everything that comes next.The front office staff has always listened to any concerns we’ve had (our son has special learning needs) and we’ve been very grateful they’ve helped us work through a few things - making us feel like they’re truly invested in his success and development.Always, but especially during COVID, they’ve gone to great lengths to clean and create a safe environment, where kids can still be kids, but parents can rest assured precautions are in place.

We have had a great experience for both our kids at the academy. Thankful for the hard working teachers and staff who have prepared my kids for kindergarten.

The best school I could find for my 21-month-old son.I am one of those moms who does her research meticulously, when it comes to her baby. I am picky, squeamish and very demanding. I expect people to be the same way with me.I have always been passionate about early childhood education. I have studied Harvard and other major schools papers on early childhood physical development, brain function and psychology.I was looking for a place with loving, carrying staff, with people who love their job and children; the place that is clean, spacious and safe ( due to Colorado weather, kids spend a lot of time indoors. I didnt want my son to be inclosed in a single room for the whole day.)I wanted a place for my boy, where he would be respected, loved, understood and supported. I wanted teachers who would encourage him and help him grow naturally, at the same time, giving him opportunity to learn, through well thought out curriculum. This Academy and its staff offer it all. I am lucky to have it near by!You can trust a parent.Best,Julia

The Academy is the perfect daycare/early education center for our children. We looked at a number of places in Arvada, and this was by far the best. Its not cheap, but nothing is. And IF it is, its not as good as the Academy.Our son started when he was about 14 months old and hes now 3.5. We love the Academy so much that our daughter is starting in just a month or so.Childcare is stressful for parents — will they be taken care of? Loved? Paid attention to? Taught fun and useful things? With the Academy, weve never doubted that the answer to all these questions is a resounding YES. Our son loves going (most days!) and has always had a wonderful relationship with his teachers.Also, potty training wouldnt have been possible without the teachers in the Toddler II rooms. Theyre saints, and they should be paid as much as CEOs. My personal opinion.

We went to the Academy for 2 full years. This was the third daycare location that we tried. It was by far the best place we know of. Their staff of teachers and administrators are amazing. Everything is always thought through - every holiday, every season, every document and form. Any criticism that I could offer would be slight and over-shadowed by 1,000 things that I never thought of. Our son arrived in diapers and left ready for grade school. Go here when only the very best will suffice. This is the best place on this side of town. And location is important.Thank you very much, The Academy ECE of Arvada!

My oldest has been going to The Academy for almost 4 years and she loves it! My youngest just started a month ago and is already comfortable with her routine there. I sincerely like and trust all the staff there and it makes it so much easier for me to go to work everyday knowing that I dont have to worry about my kids.

I worked at the academy for a few months. I had my 1 year old son with Cori and Brittney in toddler 1B. They ignored the kids when they got hurt, didnt use the kids own sunscreen and never comforted the kids when they needed it. I raised my concerns several times to the directors Beth and morgan. I was blamed for overreacting and nothing was done. Other staff members had concerns about these teachers and others. One of my sons teachers even told me I wont change the way I do things just because youre uncomfortable . I will never return as an employee or a parent. Do not send your kids here.

From my very first inquiry call to every pick up and drop off, we have been treated like family. Welcomed with open arms and warm smiles. Every single staff member has been friendly and professional. I instantly felt safe and secure walking into the building and knew that my children would be well cared for and loved. We are so grateful to The Academy for being a reliable, safe, educational, loving environment for our children.

We love The Academy! We are incredibly appreciative of the love, care and education they provide our son. I walk in the door every morning and am greeted by wonderful staff who look after my son with enthusiasm. We have been to other schools and The Academy is the very best!

Weve been with the Academy for over a year now. My preschool son is very happy there and received plenty of love. They keep him active and busy. My school age daughter does well there, too... they pick her up for after school care, which is really convenient. The place is much better suited for younger kids, but also works well for working families that need after school care. I wouldnt go there for after school care alone. Its also a beautiful location. All teachers weve encountered at the Academy have been friendly and professional. Its not cheap but it works great for us.

Our son has really come a long way in his development thanks to the wonderful teachers and personnel at The Academy. We are so grateful for their enrichment program and the structure theyve implemented to cut the teacher/student ratio.

We really love The Academy. Both of our girls go there; the staff is friendly and attentive. Most importantly, our girls enjoy going to school each day!

We have been very happy with the care provided to our 3 year old son at The Academy. He loves his teachers and is learning so much.

I cant say enough good things about The Academy! We love the staff and teachers! Our son is truly thriving under their care.
