My daughter is going into her third year of dance with Idea Factory and director Cynthia King. Ms Cynthias studio is focused on technique and learning through love. She offers a wide variety of classes, even for the youngest of dancers. Its refreshing to find a studio that doesnt only offer ballet and tap for young dancers. The non-competitive performing company focuses on community outreach and teaches the dancers compassion and service through dance. There are at least 15 dance studios in the town I live in (Spartanburg, SC), but we choose to drive the hour to Idea Factory. Its unlike any other dance studio!!

No running water for kids to wash there hands after using the bathroom. Health department violation for sure. Owner is unprofessional and answer any email with a rude tone. You can’t watch your children during practice even at the youngest of ages. So if you trust teenagers and parents you don’t know around your kid this is the place for you. Owner shows emails to other parents and gave out my contact information to someone I didn’t even know without checking. For sure she just wants drama. Don’t waste your time here. This place is garbage and unprofessional. Mother with huge mullet acts as bouncer. Being a failure on Broadway doesn’t make you a good business owner. Go cowboys!

I have been dancing at Idea Factory for 12 years and I can guarantee that it is fantastic. They provide a high quality dance education and the most competitive prices of anyone dance school in the area. I learned as much in this studio as I did in 13 years of public education. Very highly recommended.
