Went to West Coast Swing beginners lesson tonight. Amy was very good with the instruction. Very comical. I learned how to make a smile with my butt n hips😅Good lesson. May come back. Just up for the month.🕺

I am taking line dance under Missy Lindsey on Saturdays! LOVING IT!!! New beginner class starts May 1st. You should come! Great exercise with fun people. Line dance is great for balance, core strength and brain health...not to mention FUN☆

We absolutely love this studio! My husband and I started dancing here to work on our first dance for our wedding. It of course was a hit, and we had such a great time that we have kept dancing. We even participated in our first ballroom dance competition which was so much fun! Now they even offer yoga classes. This is a wonderful studio, with passionate but down to earth instructors. They really do a great job teaching not only the steps and technique, but also making sure their students are well rounded dancers, well versed in a variety of styles. They also have a lot of social events/dance nights/games to keep things fun. We have so much fun dancing at Wave Studios! Highly recommended!!!!

Wave Studios is the best place to learn to dance, whether you are interested in social dancing, preparing for a special event, or wanting to compete. I began taking lessons for a little over 3 years and my initial intent was just to learn ballroom. Jake and Meghan have made the experience so much fun, I started competing! I love challenging myself to continue improving my dance skills, get some much needed exercise and meet wonderful new friends. I encourage anyone who has thought about learning to dance to come out and do an introductory lesson. Theres no high pressure to go beyond your comfort zone, but if you decide to stretch, you will receive encouragement and support to meet any goals you set for yourself!

Jake and Megan are a great team and wonderful instructors. Ive been dancing for 14 years and have taken from several instructors. They exhibit a high level of professionalism, knowledge, talent and ability. Jake is constantly challenging me and I can tell Im improving. A big PLUS is that dancing with them is FUN!!! Dancing is my anti-dementia plan because research is emerging that shows less incidence of dementia in people who partner dance. In addition, it is a perfect blend of mental, physical, and social activity. Dance on!

I discovered Wave Studios about 4 years ago. I had always wanted to try ballroom dancing, since I had done various other forms of dance in previous years. After my first lesson, I knew I had truly found a special place that far exceeded any expectations I had. During that first lesson, Jake immediately conveyed to me how much fun dancing was for him and then sought to understand any goals I might have in this new endeavor for me. I instantly began to see Jake and Meghans exceptional talents in teaching and their passion to share this experience in dance with students no matter what their level. During each group class or lesson, they always find a way to connect with students in a fun, relaxed way. They will demonstrate steps and patterns numerous times if needed and even try different ways to explain things if one person isnt quite getting it! They truly bring a teaching expertise to their students that is unmatched, drawing upon their many years of extensive training in teaching and in their professional dancing experience. Their passion and love for ballroom dance is definitely contagious! We are so fortunate Jake and Meghan chose to open their wonderful studio here in Asheville!

Just finished my second Beginners class with Kelly! Her knowledge of physiology and body mechanics, expertise in Chinese medicine, hands-on adjustments (upon request), and customizing the session to OUR needs and experience are an awesome combination! She’s a very genuine, affirming, positive presence!
