We have been an AMS family for 7+ years and cannot say enough good things about the school and teachers! Our sons did their 1st ever summer camp last week and had an absolute AWESOME time! They really enjoyed making music with other teen musicians. We were all so impressed (including them) at how great it was to be working with other teens who were experienced and that they could knock out a 5 song set list in under a week! ☺️I just want to say thank you for offering such awesome camps like Teen Pop/Rock Camp (with awesome teachers, like Gabrielle)!Our sons have grown tremendously over the years at AMS, and their love of music continues to keep growing and maturing.

I started playing an instrument I literally knew nothing about except I thought it sounded beautiful. I’ve been a student for 4 years and throughly love it! The teachers are very knowledgeable and patient, I am very proud to be a part of the Asheville Music School family.

I have been taking cello lessons at Asheville Music School for over 2 years now, and I can honestly say that it has been an amazing experience. I am a business owner, who travels a lot, but I always wanted to learn how to play the cello. I didnt think starting a new instrument was possible until I started taking lessons at AMS with Ryan Reardon. It has been great because I can fit it into my busy schedule, and still grow in what I am learning. The environment is amazing! Everyone is happy to be there, and were all learning and growing together.

Asheville Music School is good people doing good things! They create a fun and supportive atmosphere and are great to work with.

Darlyne Cain is a bright, caring, competent, and awesome musician who shares her love of guitar and songwriting with her students in an encouraging and no-nonsense way. One thing I appreciate the most about her approach is her ability to take any song, hear what chords are in it, and make it playable at my level. I definitely recommend Darlyne!

Our family loves Asheville Music School. My children enjoy lessons in a positive, family-friendly environment along with amazing opportunities to serve the larger community by performing in the outreach program.

This is an awesome organization and the best place for musical instruction in Asheville. Bravissimo! :)
