I used to feel this location was one of the best as far as what they carry and the friendliness. However, two cashiers were loudly talking about someones body odor in the afternoon of October 8th. Not everyone is dealt the same hand in life, and its rude regardless of who they were talking about. If I encounter someone with body odor, I treat them kindly and dont talk bad about them. Maybe they are hardworking and dont have time to shower after work before running errands. This totally ruined what I thought of their previous customer service. I will not shop at this location again.

I stopped to get a few necessities. I went in the store and was getting my items when another customer told me I needed to be wearing a mask . Now I have asthma as well as ptsd which causes me to have a panic attack from fear of suffocating and its documented in my health records. So I dont typically wear a mask. Well I said ok to the other customer after she rudely told me I had to have a mask on and I pulled my t-shirt up to cover my mouth. Next thing I know the store employee comes over and asks if I have a mask. I responded to him politely saying no sorry I dont because of health reasons but im ready to check out. And I put my items on the counter as he is ringing up my things this customer comes back over and says I just told you that you have to have a mask on then says to the employee you know you can get shut down for 24 hours for him being in here without a mask. I turned around and said yes you told me to put a mask on but that doesnt mean I have to listen to you your not a person of authority and employee etc then said Im checking out now n leaving please mind your business. Next thing I know the Cashier who had already rung up all my items all I had to do was swipe my card to pay for them tells me I have to leave and would not sell me the stuff I needed. I understand theres a pandemic but you never know what someone is going through they never asked if I had a medical problem or anything and its wrong to treat anyone like that . Not to mention the mask mandate is ridiculous and unconstitutional. And makes 0 sense. I will not spend another cent at family dollar ever again. Especially this one there products are overpriced to start with the store is always a mess there shelves are empty 75% of the time and employees are rude. A quarter mile down the road dollar general is cleaner has better products and selection , employees are more personable and helpful and everything is about a dollar cheaper than family dollars prices for the same item. Spend your $ with dollar general where they treat you like a human
