I had a good time at young chef Academy, its good learning experience in learning to be a chef. The instructors are awesome with communicating with the students and also helping us understand how to do things safely in the kitchen.

We had my daughter’s birthday at Young Chefs. The party was awesome and Chef Olivia and Chef Jack were incredibly entertaining and helped make it an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be back in the future for more events.

My daughter enjoyed her brief time here, but from a parents perspective, this location pushed me to the point of no return. Very disorganized, the communication was atrocious, and the instructors oftentimes seemed very disinterested. I have to find another location to attend.

I was a bit disappointed with the experience at the academy today. We arrived at 4:25pm, as directed, however, they were not ready. We waited a bit in the lobby, then washed hands and then waited a bit more in the classroom. I had a soon in kinderclass and he did more than my daughter in the Junior class. She was so bored. She was given the task of measuring and then chopped a sausage. What I really didnt appreciate was that I called ahead of time and asked what would be made today. For my daughter they said microwave chips and banana bread, but it ended up being biscuits and gravy and sausage kabab.

My son went to YCA in 2009, hes now a 21 year old student who bakes brilliant pies, bread and cakes, as well as all kinds of main courses. He loves to cook and I trace it back to his fantastic experience at Sandy Springs Young Chefs all those years ago. He still has his folder of recipes!

Chef Kendra and Chef Arielle hosted my daughter’s 5th birthday and did an amazing job! They kept the attention of 15 active kids and the party was a hit with the kids AND the parents. My daughter even asked if we could make the pizza recipe at home. Win win!
