Its very spacious and a trendy spot to have a private event. A nice loft space upstairs to get dressed with mirrors and space for a DJ area for music.

I was following Anthony on his YouTube channel for a year before I knew he had a studio in Atlanta. I worked with Katelin and boy did I learn a lot about TRUSTING MYSELF. Forget the lines and just go for it. I had such a great time and every lesson was meaningful!

AMAW Atlanta has completely changed my life. I feel more connected to my art, the acting community, and the human experience than ever before. These people are the real deal. Its a family that doesnt let you settle for less than everything youve got. In love with AMAW.

When I moved ATL, my first priority was getting into class. When I heard AMAW came to town I got so excited! I audited a class and met Katelin. I started the Intro course a couple of months and now I’m continuing my training with Katelin. She has been so inspiring for all us and will give everything she has to help her students succeed in going to those uncomfortable places that we’re afraid to go to and become better actors.

I have been training at AMAW-Atlanta since they established it in November 2016. I first discovered Anthony Meindl in December 2015 and have been following his blog and YouTube videos since then. I got to work w/Anthony when he did a 3 day intensive that summer of 2016 and it ROCKED my core in a good and healthy way. When Katelin Chesna committed to moving to Atlanta to give a studio here a try, I was thrilled and have not stopped being excited. EVERY class has been filled with growth, support, and a sense of community that extends beyond the classroom. We are not only becoming stronger and more authentic actors. We are becoming better human beings as our ability to empathize, listen, and be in the moment-to-moments of LIFE and our scenes. It is not about performing scenes and memorizing lines and/or planning out beats. It is about allowing ourselves to FEEL what we feel and to TRUST the impulses that rise up as we are living in the moments of the scene. Of course, Katelin is an amazing leader/sherpa/friend/mentor who guides EVERYONE through their own journey of discovery, overcoming resistance, and fostering a SAFE and LOVING environment to FAIL, SUCCEED, and SUPPORT one another. Whether you are an OG of the Atlanta studio, someone just moving into the ongoing class from Intro, or even just getting started on the Intro class, you are and will be treated like the family we choose to call family (regardless of bloodline or marital relations). There are no cliques in this studio and EVERY ONE is genuinely pulling for one other in the classroom, on set, in auditions, and even in life beyond our industry. It is a beautiful experience, and if you have never been to AMAW, I HIGHLY recommend auditing a class and see for yourself what I am taking about and experiencing each and every day.
