Get Scene is the ideal way to get training and feedback in your acting career, especially if you dont live close to a large metro area, because you can train virtually with some of the most influential agents and casting directors. The class I recently attended with Big Picture Casting (thanks Rita and Jen!) was extremely helpful in teaching me how to focus on what to concentrate on when submitting a commercial audition, and how to take direction on a callback to zero in on just what casting is looking for. I will be taking many more of these types of classes in the future - great value!

I took a virtual class on Tuesday called Get Heard! It was a class that regarded information about getting into the voice over business which is what I have a great interest in. Jesse and Jeffrey were both fantastic! They were very knowledgeable and gave great tips which is extremely helpful for someone like me who is just getting into this profession. I did the GetScene 360 yesterday, and had a fantastic time! It was such a great learning experience, and I gained so much knowledge in an incredibly short amount of time. I’ve attended a few of the Get Scene workshops and found them to be invaluable. After years of trying to secure representation with an agent, I took the 2 Week Get an Agent Challenge with Jesse and was a bit skeptical at first that I would be able to actually get an agent in two weeks, but I implemented everything he taught and managed to secure agency representation shortly after the course ended. I attended the actors summit in 2020 and signed up for Actors Spark afterwards. Since joining the spark squad, I have found that I am able to be more creative and free in my auditions which has created an atmosphere for success. Before joining Actors Spark, I was unrepresented, terrified of auditioning and feeling a creative plateau. After only a few months, I signed with my top agency choice, and booked my first paying gig! Omgosh so I started taking the free virtual classes taught by Get Scene Studios summer of 2020. I LOVED the vibe of the group and the energy from Jesse. It was really neat to see over 700 participants and everyone in the chat cheering for each other. I kept taking a few more free virtual and then signed up for the Atlanta Actors Summitt November of 2020. Thats when I really fell in love with how Jesse & Candi run their business and their passion for helping actors be more professional by truly caring for every single detail. Be cautious of this studio. They advertise workshops that they often cancel at the last minute. Getting information from the casting directors they host can be great, but the owner is all talk, little experience. And the actual acting classes they offer arent great. Overall, the place makes a lot of promises, but doesnt deliver. They seem more concerned with making money than with actually helping actors. There are definitely better options.

Ok bought a Scout mob for any Friday or Saturday night. Got to the show and they said my pass was not accepted?!? I dealt with it but this is an amateur nights place. I understand people have to learn somewhere but you should understand if you go here dont expect laughs all the time. Support friends but dont over hype it.
