When I first moved to Atlanta 3 years ago to start my acting career, I didnt really know where to start. I did a few google searches on places to take classes and then I kept hearing about Drama Inc. I signed up for classes and that was the beginning of my incredible journey in the Atlanta Film Industry. I first stepped foot in Drama Inc. about a year and a half ago, new to acting, and instantly felt in my element and at home. Drama Inc. goes far beyond providing excellent classes, coaching, taping, and much more support to actors and the film community. Drama Inc is the best. I took On Camera 1 there and there positivity and desire to see everyone succeed won me Over. I took their one on one career counseling and it helped put me on the right path. I took their 6 month Meitner course and it completely changed the game for me career wise. I have since taken two more classes with them and get most of my self tape auditions done at their studio. They are also more than willing to give advice when needed. Drama Inc. is by far one of the best resources I’ve had as an actor. They have a variety of working professionals whose knowledge of the industry is par to none. The teachers care about you and your well being and never hesitate to help someone in need.I think the biggest thing for me was their involvement in the Atlanta community. They continue to hold free talkbacks for their students and volunteer with organizations such as: Habitat for Humanity, Friends of Refugees, and Lifeline Animal Project.On top of everything, they are constantly working on their own shorts and shirts(grab yourself one), which most of the time they are using Drama Inc students, providing them with more opportunities to network, learn, and grow. I started going to Drama Inc. in December of 2013, and Ive been going nearly every week since. Why? Of course their training is top notch, and they are all working actors themselves who work on major tv and film projects, but also, they genuinely care about the students that walk through their door. They are all so passionate about what they do, they LOVE acting, so they LOVE teaching it! And aside from teaching with passion, they teach with such grace. The impact teachings, actor services, and workshops at Drama Inc. have had on me so far has truly helped me further my career as an actor this past year.I was in LA a few months ago and had a unique opportunity to audition in front of some great LA commercial agencies. Id never taken a commercial class before going to LA, and decided to take an intro course to commercials before leaving. I had all the confidence to step into the room and no doubt would never have even felt prepared to be seen without this class. Since, Ive booked my first commercial and quite possibly a commercial agent all from 1 class at Drama Inc.!Ive leveraged Drama Inc.s services for audition tapings which my agent has noted has been excellent quality. While training never stops for an actor, Ive since been exposed to some great workshops, classes, and intensives with some of the top Atlanta, LA, and NY CDs, teachers, and actors in the industry. Coming from NYC, the classes offered at Drama, Inc. are as close to that training as I could find in this market. You will get straight talk and candid feedback from the instructors, but its always presented in a respectful and nurturing manner. Thats worth my money.

After the completion of a little independent film in 2014, I signed with Houghton and enrolled in OC1 at Drama Inc. with Jason and Catherine. Drama Inc is incredible. Their teachers are well educated and seasoned in television, film, commercials and industrials.All you have to do is look any of the founders and instructors up on IMDB, their credits speak for themselves! Why would you study elsewhere with someone who doesnt have current principal credits?? They also publicly post their reels on their website for you to see.The same gifts the instructors and founders have as actors, they also have as teachers. Loving honest feedback that develops you as an actor.Personally my bookings have increased substantially in commercial, television and film. I swear by their Meisner program, On Camera classes and Commercial Crash Course - they are awesome!!! Im hoping to add Improv and Scene Study next!In addition to the large selection of classes they offer unique services to actors like reel editing, audition taping, career coaching and headshots! Another bonus for active students are free casting director workshops - that typically cost you much ($150+) at other places around town.Drama Inc says it all in their name, Actors Well Trained.
