Very proud of South Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Ga today. They represented well. I loved how the Student Council had the names of the 17 students that were killed on balloons and there names were aloud and balloons released. That was very touching. I do not have any children at South Atlanta but I do have two beautiful young ladies who are apart of my ministry and all of South Atlanta High who I wanted to come and let them know that, I love you and I care. It is very easy to get lost in this building, as it has no directory. The staff is however, very willing to direct you, if you know where youre looking to go. And for safety reasons, theyre more likely to bring your solution to you instead of letting you wander.From a cleanliness standpoint, this building is as clean as the person that frequently occupies the room. The bathrooms often have no toilet paper, missing mirrors and have graffiti in them. The gyms are filled with ants, and discarded trash. The halls, however are constantly being cleaned, and reflect it.The staff are again, a wide variable. Anyone that occupies a main office, or anywhere that visitors would have to frequent are sweet as honey. The rest of the staff can be okay. Theyre peoples people. If you make them angry theyll fight back.There is very little school spirit. Pep rallies and assemblies are classroom getaways. Any fee charged in the name of improving the school is either ignored on the students part or loudly complained about. The worst thing about South Atlanta is that it feels as though these people could be in any school, anywhere, and that the school is just a building, and nothing more.

My experience at South Atlanta High School was pretty cool. I got to meet some nice teachers, made some cool friends, and even had some fun at times.

Great school my son said the food taste way better than Mac Nair high school.

This place is cold and has no order I was waiting to but registered by the counselor office of awhile and the administration are very aggressive and rude

This school is by far the worst school I have ever encountered. The teachers are so ghetto especially the students. You dont learn from this school. This school is like a prison.
