My Atlanta Trilingual Academy experience exceeded my expectations. One thing not mentioned by others is how ATA focuses on developing the qualities of respect and responsibility. It makes a huge difference in how the children there behave and interact with one another.

My rising 4th grader took online lessons and they were fantastic! The teacher was well prepared and used lots of different interactive ways to make online learning interesting and engaging. The cost was very reasonable. The student teacher ratio was amazing

My children attend(ed) the on-line language classes for Spanish and Chinese and they have really enjoyed it. The student-teacher ratio is great and the price is good for daily lessons.

Strangers cross through parking lot right beside a regular size chain link fence for the playground, huge risk. They promise fresh healthy food, do not deliver that and are not honest with you about what they feed your child. They never ask for nor mention immunization records. The facility has age, does not appear to be cleaned regularly and is rented. When lighting went out in the toddler areas, administration refused to fix it because they were renting and said their landlord should do it. My child was picked up at 11:45 am and her daily sheet including diapers was filled out completely until 2:30. We were there for 6 days, paid over $1,800 and will never return.

Its only been a few weeks but my kids absolutely love it. The teachers are very patient but stick to the program. We tried a few language programs online at home but nothing works like immersion.

I was completely dissapointed with this school! I felt like they sold me something else at the open house than what it really was. The school is a mess, dirty, including the office. The teacher does not write daily reports, so you will not know if your kid ate or not etc. Also the majority of times at pick up the kids were watching tv.The outside area is dirty as well, not sure when the last time the actually cleaned it. Two more things thay really annoyed me, when my kid was sick i asked the director for the medicatiom sheet, he had no idea where it was a gave me a random paper to fill out! I mean come on! Also they were cleaning all rooms including painting while the kids were in the classrooms it was a total mess! The school overall needs a lot of work, i would not recommend this school for kids under 3yrs old as they seem to cater more to older kids. Sad that it didnt work out but glad i took my kid out of this school! The only reason why I give it two stars was because at least the teacher was nice.

My daughter attended this school for the 2017-2018 school year. What they claim to offer and reality are definitely two (2) different things. This is NOT full immersion. My daughter was in the 4th grade. She had 1 chinese class; 1 spanish class; and the core subjects were taught in English. Additionally, if you want your child to learn core subjects, go elsewhere. My daughter missed out on Science and Social Studies instruction for almost the entire school year! The administration gave the run-around when I questioned these practices and flat out lied about her missing instruction. Also, I couldnt find certification of any of their teachers!!I will say the 1 good thing to come out of this is that my daughter did do well in Chinese. This is thanks to the teacher herself and not the school as I believe Wenyan could have tutored my child outside of the school and the same result would have occurred. Please also note that many families have left the school and when I enrolled my child there were only 8 children in the elementary school with two (2) of them being children of the owners. The administration is a joke and no one seems to really know whats going on. Im still waiting to receive information regarding the standardized tests the kids supposedly took in May. The administration hasnt provided me with test results, and no one can tell me what test the kids even took! Now if that alone doesnt speak volumes I dont know what does.Needless to say, this was a waste of my money and my daughters time. I am not re-enrolling (plus they got rid of the higher elementary school grades) and I encourage everyone else to not enroll their children either.

We enrolled at Atlanta Trilingual Academy upon opening, April 2012. My daughter is 5 and a native Spanish-speaker on my side. She got her English from her dad and the community. I used exclusive Spanish with her from birth and it went so well, we decided to add a 3rd language at age 3. In total, she has been studying Chinese for 2 years now. Since enrolling with ATA, her confidence in her spoken and academic Spanish has grown exponentially And her spoken CHINESE has flourished! She is now internalizing the Chinese language, and this is taking form at home (where no one speaks Chinese but her.) She absolutely loves imaginative play, and puts on shows (by herself) using her toys and stuffed animals. WELL, she is talking for her stuffed buddies IN Chinese! I cant interrupt or even look at her because shell switch to Spanish.Academically, my daughter is also thriving at ATA. With small class size, her teachers are able to give the kids the attention they need. If you are considering this school for your child, but are not sure... language Immersion works! Whether it be 2 languages or 5! Give them consistent meaningful learning experiences IN the languages, and they will learn them! Our experience so far is a testament to that. My daughter now wants to learn French and Korean as well!Atlanta Trilingual Academy is a newer school and as with any new school, there are some growing pains. Adjustments are made as needed, but my childs education and language-learning has not suffered. My opinions as a parent (and my childs first teacher) have always been valued and even used for specific changes. I am confident that we will remain at Atlanta Trilingual Academy for the long haul, and I hope you will join us on this multilingual adventure.
