My granddaughter has been coming here for four years now. She has grown with academics and responsibilities. The staff and teachers are very professional and helpful to the families. They are very nurturing to the children, and still have high expectations for their development. I recommend this school for all families to prepare their children for elementary. The tuition you pay is worth it!And we love the director Gina. She is passionate about Montessori and children.

My child has attended Carlisle Montessori School for the last 3 academic school years and I have been impressed with the facultys dedication to my child’s development and the nurturing environment provided. There is an immediate sense of the teachers passion and the emotional and academic value they place in each student. Becoming a Montessori accredited teacher takes years of study and hands on experience. This same level of focus and commitment and professionalism continues into the classroom. Each interaction with the child or lesson taught is an opportunity to widen a child’s horizon or make them a more integral member of the classroom. An additional benefit of a school this size is the administration knows your childs development and milestones almost as closely as the teachers. This allows the parent and overall staff to collaborate in providing the best setting for each child both at school and at home. I am happy to see the school grow and strengthen its position in the intown area.

We enrolled our 18 month old daughter two months ago and we’re so happy that we did. It’s hard to find a good preschool in the city and a playground that’s on grass and not concrete. Teachers are attentive and very caring. Very fortunate our daughter is able to attend school here.

Outstanding AMI-certified education in the Montessori spirit. We have entrusted two of our children to the care of Carlisle Montessoris well qualified and experienced teachers. The kids have grown tremendously in the friendly and caring environment from just under 3 years old to almost 7 years old. And I dont just mean that they grew bigger, they advanced in their academics and as part of the school community. Its a small school, where everyone knows and cares for everyone else.

Carlisle Montessori School truly respects the individual childs development in that specific childs time span. The teachers (guides) as well as the director are authentic Montessori practitioners who care deeply about each and every child and family that they serve. Ginas (the director) door and ears are always open to parents and teachers to voice concern in order to help problem solve.I was able to witness this as an assistant teacher for four years, which in turn lit a passionate fire for the Montessori method within me. Gina, as well as the other teachers and children at Carlisle Montessori School, inspired and encouraged me to pursue my Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) teaching certificate to be a Lead Guide alongside a Masters in Montessori Education (M.Ed) that I received this past summer. Gina has been and is a Montessori mentor to me. She opened my eyes and my awareness to the peaceful and respectful teaching philosophy that is inherent in the Montessori method.Since graduating with my diplomas I have been hired at a wonderful Montessori school in the heart of Manhattan in New York City. I could not have found my lifes work and love without the joyous inspiration that is Carlisle Montessori School. I will forever call this school, the teachers, and the children that I have witnessed flourishing my home.

Weve toured several preschools around the area, and while a lot of them were lovely, there was a special feeling at Carlisle that made it stand out from the rest. The teachers are lovely, and it has served as a cozy home away from home for my daughter.

Absolutely delighted - we have had our daughter here for two years (and she is going back for a third). Gina Ward and the teachers there create an engaging, personalized environment for each child. Our daughter thrives at Carlisle and loves going to school.

We didn’t know much about the Montessori approach until we started to research preschools in the area for our 3-year-old daughter last year. When we visited Carlisle Montessori for our first tour, we were absolutely amazed to see such young children calmly, happily, and independently doing so many different things around the classroom. We chose Carlisle over other Montessori schools in the area because it provides an excellent Montessori education, and because it is set apart by the especially warm and inviting environment of the school. This is the first time our child has been cared for outside of the home, and we knew the patient and nurturing demeanor of the teachers and the small homelike feel of the school itself would make for a gentle start for our little one. We look forward to the years ahead and watching our daughter grow through her experiences at CMS!

Our daughter Ishi is in her 3rd year at Carlisle and we see her growing into a responsible, conscious and a confident young girl. We moved from India where Ishi was attending a Montessori school and we wanted her to continue in Montessori here at Atlanta. We are very fortunate to find Carlisle Montessori here. Ms Gina, Ms Njambi, Ms Taral, Ms Sydney and rest all teachers are doing a fabulous job.In the early years of Montessori it may feel that the child is not learning the usual school stuff (knowing her alphabets, numbers etc) but in the final years of primary program (age 5-6) the child can read, write in cursive, do her math (calculations in 1000s :)), have knowledge of world geography (maps, flags, languages etc) and much more than academics. The child is independent to do most of her chores with little or no help and with pride. We are very excited and are looking forward to see her complete the 6 year Montessori primary program.
