As an employee, you work here for the love of the children & families. The turn over rate is very high, employees quit because of administrators. With the director having the finally say, she will allow a incompetent teacher to continue to work just to have staff on board. Ignoring the risk of the children and the conflict it causes between teachers and parents. Because at the end of the day the blame was placed on the teachers. Rather than take ownership that you allowed a situation to continuously fester and cause harm to children, you passed the blame on a dedicated worker. Whom had been employed for four years and had moved up in a position that you asked her to take on. I came to you numerous of times for help concerning the situation and nothing was done. Action was taken once the parent decided to report the numerous complaints they had to state licensing. Action that resulted in my termination. Other administrators new of problem, but couldnt do anything about it due to the chain of command or perhaps it may compromise their job. The HEART Principles are for advertising, because they are not practiced.

My toddler is injured every other day with lackluster feedback from the staff regarding what transpired. The Executive Director colludes with teachers to cover up mistakes that are made by staff and there has been a breach by a staff member to confidentiality relating to our families personnel file. Little Apron Academy has a beautiful facility with poor care. A house is not a home!

I was looking for schools offering Georgia Pre-K in Cobb area and I saw this school listed in the Georgia Pre-K website. I went there to inquire about their Georgia Pre-K program, just to learn that they have Georgia Pre-K from 8 - 2:30 pm, but will not provide after care for anyone who is not a home depot employee and the child should be picked up at 3, even though you are ready to pay for the after care.This is weird. What about kids with both working parents. This is tailored in a way, so that only home depot employees can benefit out of the Georgia Pre-k. But they proudly advertise themselves as Georgia Pre-K, as if its equal opportunity for everyone. This makes me wonder the legitimacy of their wait list, as well.We all pay taxes which helps the government fund these programs. When the government funds them, how can they use that money to benefit one organization.I am going to escalate this to Cobb county officials and hope they take some action.Others, just save yourself a trip.
