Ive had a great opportunity thus far to really expand my base knowledge of the medical field and the classes I have taken up to this point have exceeded my expectations. Im one of those students that constantly stays in contact with both my professors as well as college staff. Ive never had a problem getting in touch with anyone through email, text, office, or (even) cell phone. Theyve really done an amazing job and Id highly recommend it to those looking to go into the medical coding field. While I cant comment on the other courses they offer, theyve certainly surpassed expectations in this particular field (in my opinion).

Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology is an excellent school instilling quality education and superior work skills into the lives of each and every one of their students. Once a student completes a program, there are great jobs waiting on them. I believe the faculty is among some of the best anywhere and students are their focus! This institution has the highest level of courtesy, professionalism and care for their students. I completed a course in Medical Billing and Coding. The instructors, and admissions (Mark Alie) were the best. However, my favorite staff member is definitely Malissa Lawrence (Director of career Services). She did an awesome job by helping me prepare for a position in my field. Mock interviews and even tweaking my resume. These are those things that matter.

As a student of the Phlebotomy Technician, I couldnt have ask for better instructor no other than Kandance Tynes. Shes very detail, elaborate the course content, review materials, and give real life scenarios to help use understand the information that well see on the National Health career Association Examination. Also have to thank the staff who were all very professional and flexible. Let me not forget Ms. Mellissa Lawrence does an amazing job at identify correction for medical resumes, search for job opportunities, and schedule appointment whenever youre available to practice Mock interview, gives pointers, and advice.

First of, I want to give credit to the instructors. Mr minks, Dr raj and Mr Gunter. They are very knowledgeable and I appreciated every one of them I am so grateful for the education I received from them however, I would like to state issues with the school. This school is way too expensive for the quality that you get. There is unfair treatment of students, some students get all the opportunities while some of the students are not given the chance, especially when Ms Sundus was there. Multiples students placed at clinical sites, students being placed at sites that are not able to complete competency and many more. Going in to the program I had high hopes, but as time progress there is a clear preference for certain students to succeed. Towards the end of the time I needed help with the job search so I went to Ms. Malissa. she told me that she will help me with my job search and resume but however she never fulfilled her promise and In fact, sent out my resume to two clinics knowing that it needed work and making me look like a fool. she was the one that was contacting me and never helped me like she said she was. I honestly do not get the reviews she has one here because she does nothing and I did not help me at all. The only reason why I give two stars because of the instructors. overall the admin does not fulfill its promises and will do anything to get you in but there is a lack of leadership.

*This review is regarding Melissa Lawrence, Director of Career Services*Towards the end of my journey at Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology I had the pleasure of working with Melissa Lawrence, Director of Career Services @ the Atlanta Campus. She was extremely professional and assisted in perfecting my resume and interviewing skills. Throughout the entire process she was attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable about what I needed to bring to the table as new graduate. Cambridge is lucky to have such an asset to their team! Due to her help and persistence I am confident that I have the proper tools to assist me in my future.*I would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Melissa as you have been so helpful throughout this entire process and I am so appreciative! Mr Corbin is a very good teacher, he takes his time to make sure that the students get the material and he actually takes his time to teach. Ms king is an excellent lab instructor and Ms Mosley is a great CI. She goes above and beyond for the students making sure they get the right placements. Do a google search on your professors especially if they teach Anatomy and you will more than likely see their mugshots before you’ll ever see them on RateMyProfessor website. Once you are accepted, the same people that helped you through the door will stop responding to your emails and ignore you all together because they already got your money. The big bald guy in the Registar office lies about everything. Their goal is to get you in the door so they can get your money and when you graduate good luck finding legit work without being laughed at first and paid the lowest. This school is not affiliated with Emory in any way, they just rent a room at their hospital. This school is not Georgia Accredited, I highly suggest you all look up Georgia Accredited schools and enroll there instead because when you look for a job, they will have to choose between the applicant who went to a state accredited school vs an applicant who went to a predatory school and you won’t get pick and if you do, you won’t get paid great. Lastly if you transfer out of this school to any other college they won’t accept any of your credits from Cambridge. This school is a scam and the good reviews are more than likely fake.

The teachers at Cambridge ( Dr. Raj, Mr. Gunter, and Mr. Minks) are incredibly intelligent and give you all the tools be successful in the program and beyond. The program is not easy, but they are all willing to go above and beyond to ensure the students understand the material. I have already taken my SPI and got registered in Abdomen and I could not have done it if it wasnt for them. I even plan to take my Echo registry (which I was not interested in ever doing) because Mr. Minks is so passionate about echo and it is incredibly inspiring. Mrs. Leon, the program director, is very helpful and motivating through it all as well. Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology is an amazing school that offers a variety of programs in the healthcare field. The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted with a smile and friendly staff. The diagnostic medical sonography program was my program of choice. The program director Ms. Leon. cares for each and every one of her students and meets the needs of everyone so they are able to thrive and succeed. Mr. Gunther and Mr. Minks are a few of the excellent teachers at this school. They make sure students thoroughly understand the material as well as, go above and beyond for students who may need additional support. During these unforeseen times, the school did a great job transitioning the students to online and accommodating for every students unique situation. Cambridge was a great experience for me! I recently graduated (2019) and now working as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer In Echo. The program was very detailed which prepared me and other students in the workforce. This program is different from other colleges because we actually learned four different specialities in all, while other schools only taught one or two specialities at a time. Not only did the knowledge prepare me it also made me very marketable and today I am registered in two specialties and preparing for a third registry. Mrs. Leon is the director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program and this is the one person who make sure students are successful no matter what it takes. She will help you with whatever it takes for you to succeed and I will be forever grateful for her! The time, sleepless nights studying, and hours of lab and lectures were WELL WORTH IT!Thank you Vaughn/Sundas as well who were outstanding clinical coordinators!

Five years ago I was in nursing school and ever since I was young, I always wanted to pursue a nursing career and become a NICU nurse. After many challenges and set backs, I decided to make a major life change and switch my career choice to Radiology. As I graduated radiology school recently at Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology (ATL), one thing that hasn’t changed is my drive and compassion to make a difference in someone’s life. I wanted to choose a career where I could still be an important part in a patients life. Without imaging in the healthcare field, many diagnoses cannot physically be found. Radiology has taught me that we are not just “button pushers” but simply another essential worker who can provide the same collaborative care as many healthcare providers do. I am so happy to be someone who can share my compassion to an individual in need. The experience I had at Cambridge was one of a kind. I met not only my educators, but people who truly care about your future. All staff at the Atlanta campus are personable and professional. From The front desk to the Dean, this school makes it a duty to set you up for success. Not only have I earned a degree here at this school, but I have left with knowing great people who take pride in their role as educators. I truly will miss attending here.Clinic sites, lab work, classroom size, and proper academic material were provided effectively to individuals. I cannot single anyone out because everyone was the best at what they did in helping you to their fullest potential. If an issue came about, proper steps were taken to fix them accordingly. I even text and keep up with my fellow educators now. I love the personable atmosphere Cambridge has.If anyone ever has any questions about the school, especially the radiology program, please feel free to reach out.Email below:[email protected]. it’s never too late to find your dream career.- KrisStudent AmbassadorRadiologic Technology Graduate

As a current DMS student, I can say this program is very challenging and demanding. You should expect rigorous course material and strict policies and rules. By that being said, don’t start this program expecting to be babied in anyway. The program director is Ms. Bandoo who has her masters and the clinical coordinator is Ms. Agad which has her bachelors degree. Both are competent in what they are hired to do at the school. No one “fails” or “passes” anyone. You fail because YOU didn’t study enough or vise versa. Ms. Agad expects nothing but what is expected from the students out in the work field. She is very good and experienced in this field. Also, not at any point currently do I feel that Ms. Agad shows “favorism”, infact she is very neutral when it comes to showing her feelings towards every student. She is very encouraging and definitely helps you out when YOU show initiative first. Clearly some of the reviews I have been reading on here seem to be very misleading and simply not true!On another note, this school does have a BAD reputation due to all the old staff. However, they are either fired or “have found better job opportunities elsewhere”. This will hopefully help with making Cambridge a better and more competitive school because educationally it does NOT lack. We are receiving quality education & I encourage more people to look into this school!
