They were rude. And they were unprofessional. They need to work on their communication skills too

They wont pass you unless you have taken their classes, have made multiple attempts at this place and score was great every time but as they saw I was doing too well they unfairly disqualified. I know it was unfair because after these experiences as anyone would do, I did the research after through Google and a couple other accredited driving schools as well as their tips paper and driving book. The schools all said I should not have been disqualified and they just want the money. Truly avoid this place if you are not planning on taking classes before taking the driving test. I went to another place immediately after and passed first try, do not go here.

I wish there was a higher rating than just 5 stars, my driving instructor was AMAZING. I had Rob Slavens, he could easily be known as the best driving instructor ever. He made everything so fun while still teaching and putting out the knowledge he has. RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A DRIVERS ED CLASS.

Super friendly staff and the driving instructor was awesome. She made sure the drivers didnt feel nervous or tensed when driving which is what first time drivers goes through naturally. Everyone from the instructors to the front desk assistant was genuinely friendly. Such a nice environment. Highly recommend this school!

I had an amazing experience here. I had Rob as my instructor for all my classes and drives and he was always very helpful. Lindsey was my driving test administrator and she was wonderful and very nice. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to do drivers ed.

I had a bad experience at another place that was a school and no matter how many times I practiced I was never going to pass the driving test. after failing a couple times i went to the reviews of the school and it said that they just wanted your money and didnt care about improving your skills as a driver. Thats when I found this place and the reviews was amazing that I just had to try this place out and the cost for the drive is way cheaper than other places. I went in and did my best practicing safe driving and I passed first time being here. Even after the test , you guys tell me what I can improve on to make me a better driver and I appreciate that. Thank you guys so much. this means so much to me. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE!

Im 15 and passed driving school. Was fun in the class and Rob is a good teacher. Sometimes he says too much jokes. But its all good. Youll have fun if you take driving school hear.

The teacher did a great job with keeping the material interesting and easy to remember. He was a wealth of information and tips, and actually cared about his students’ success. Glad I chose to go here.

An amazing group of people. If youre taking the drivers ed class, its an enjoyable experience, and is made easy to learn due to these excellent people. Ive learned many handy tips that I couldnt have learned anywhere else when it comes to driving. Overall, an amazing place, and it includes seasonal decorations :)

Rob Slavens is the best instructor/teacher in the universe of time. If i could give 10 stars I would. Everyone is very friendly and overall amazing. Jackson is wonderful.

My daughter enjoyed the class and it went very smoothly from both her perspective and mine, as a parent. She really liked the instructor and his humor seemed to make her more confident. They were very flexible with her work and school schedules. They also offer the written and final driving test there as well. I would highly recommend this school.

The knowledge test is done on paper and verified against a template of correct answers upon submission. The testing center allows for a FREE retake after the instructor discusses the ones you got wrong.As for the driving test, they do offer a package where you can get a 30 min lesson followed by the test itself. I found that option to be most suitable for me, since I didnt have a car at the time and it sure helped a bit to drive with the instructor/examiner before being tested.

The staff here are so very friendly and helpful, and really want you to learn to drive well, they deserve a customer service award. Each time I came in they were very punctual. I took their adult driving lessons and Im so glad that I did. I was able to pass my test and feel confident in my driving skills! Thanks.

I would highly recommend this place for your driving tests and training. First of all, their response time is very good. You can literally take the test on same day you call them. The instructors are so friendly that they actually help you achieve what you are there for. Laura is a wonderful human being as well as a good instructor. And their 30 minutes warmup followed by test will actually help anyone get used to the car and feel like home. Last but not least, driving is fun with Laura and Sarah.

Can not say enough positive things about this school! Staff is very professional and friendly! Came in to take a written and drive test. They were able to get me in right away. The examiner I think her name was Courtney was very professional and made me feel at ease. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I got my knowledge test terminated because I pulled out my phone. Fair enough Im at fault. However, after reading about a previous incident like this at this business, another person got a warning before the test was taken per their policy and state rules. According to the owner, they gave the customer a warning when they pulled out their phone and on the second time the customer pulled it out again they then terminated the test. I received no warning (or courtesy warning as they call it) so because of this unfairness and inconsistency on their part to follow through with their own rules, I have to give this place 1 star.

Great place. Great mixture of fun but still learning. Thats hard to come by. Teacher is very a very fun and welcoming guy. I came in expecting a boring class but found the opposite.

Went in at 1030 got me in a car that had a scooby doo skin on it.did my test,went well. The person testing me was very nice. She told me were i need to improve without insulting me. it was fairly cheap to use there car. 5 stars would go again if it was necessary lol.

🚨BEWARE🚨 Bad Experience ...Our daughter was 2/3rds through the class when she was on her 2nd practice drive with an instructor. To her surprise, she was also accompanied by 2 extra student observers. She said it was a very nerve racking & unproductive drive. I asked the staff if multi student observers were mandatory since I didn’t see anything in the contract, paperwork, literature/brochures, on & off line let alone not discussed in parent meeting or were we ever informed. The staff stated that observers were optional (after the fact) AND Ryan/owner her instructor told them to “push as many observation drive with as many observers possible” on other students scheduled drives. Also told it was my daughter’s responsibility to speak up & know this even though never informed. I THANKED his staff for their time because they were decent & helped as best they could. We left on a good note but asked for the owner/instructor to call me. As a trained professional in de-escalation with unruly and hostile persons, I was shocked with the owners aggressive & off putting reaction on the phone with me. After asking for a drive redo, I was denied but accepted. The owner seemed agitated by my request and then from no where asked if our daughter should “retake” the class another time with 2 of 5 weeks left. Stayed calm despite him going low, I said I didn’t think that was necessary. He became increasingly frustrated, disrespectful, accusatory, defensive after a lengthy conversation and he abruptly decided to withdraw our daughter from the class and hung up on me. It was unprofessional because he NEVER explained why except on social media AFTER the fact while spreading his false narrative about threats & mistreatment NEVER made to justify, deflect & distract from his rude behavior. Sadly his perception became his reality while making it personal. Trying to get a full refund was like pulling teeth. Reviews on other sites show a pattern as well. We’ve moved on & up ( 911 Driving School ~ kind, caring, informative, honest & upfront, more cohesive & multi level curriculums ). Do your research ... don’t settle... there’s better out there.

My first test I failed legitimately due to a couple of reasons, however the second time I was failed due to a completely unreasonable reason. I was still in the intersection while making a left turn and the light turned red, apparently to the instructor this was ilegal. However I looked in public law resources online with the official laws in washington state and nowhere does it say that if you are still in the intersection while the light is red you broke the law, in fact it says other people must wait for you to clear the intersection if you entered legally (Which I did I entered during a green or yellow light). I contacted the school by email about this wanting a better explanation (which they said they were given extra rules by the DOL to abide by which are not even the law) and or a refund, which they offered a refund however after giving them my address I have yet to receive the refund after 3 months.

I recommend I-5 Driving School the are very kind and friendly, im sorry about the 1 star i dont mean it, thats not for your school, you deserve much better so i give you 5 star, i will recommend you to all my friends and relatives👍👍👍
