My kids have been going for lessons 6 months. Today we showed up and they had them scheduled with someone no longer there. The front desk staff said, “Oh yeah Lenesha left for college. All her classes were rescheduled except their class”. We left with no resolution at all other than being told we probably would need to pick some other day and time. Very poor customer service considering we were scheduled for the same time slot for the last 6 months.

I had my son in lessons for 6 months - he did not progress at all. When the lesson started, they would make him dunk his head once then they would use a barbell and take him back and forth from the wall and work on kicking and arms. I was hoping they would use different exercises to have him work on different skills. Or, use games to increase comfort in and around the water. He had 2 different teachers and it was the same thing with both. We are moving our kid to Big Blue Swim School, here’s hoping they are more creative with their swimming lessons.

The Southlands location is so clean! The front desk employees are warm and friendly and always greet my daughter by name and ask how her lesson went afterward. We had an instructor transition, but it was seamless and my daughter was comfortable the whole time. I would highly recommend.

The price is reasonable; the scheduling is flexible, and my daughter loves it. Shes even already moved up to the next level! I appreciate how positive the teachers are and that they make it fun for the kids.

My child is a little bit older and has advanced through their program thanks to their wonderful instructors and teaching methods. She is now taking advanced swimming classes there to prepare to try out for a swim team. SafeSplash is not just for younger children, older children can benefit, too.

SafeSplash did not notify me that there would be reoccurring transactions on my account. When I called to notify them of the charges they stated they would ONLY refund me 50% eventhough my grandson would not be attending the classes. I spoke to the front desk girl multiple times and she would not connect me to a manager.

Great staff, good setup

I am hoping this saves people some time when researching different swim schools. I had been thinking about signing my toddler up for classes with SafeSplash, but ended up reading in their rules that all children (any age) are required to wear a swim cap and goggles for lessons. I reached out to find out if this is even required for babies/toddlers and was told that it is. Props to you if your 6 month old or 2 year old will comfortably wear a cap and goggles without protest, but I personally think this will make my childs experience terrible, as the whole point is to get him comfortable with being in the water, not forcing him to wear a cap and mask while he cries and hates me for it. After reaching out to a couple of other schools in the area I am finding this is not a consistent requirement. So, FYI, for those who want their little swimmers to have a positive experience in the water.Update: I received a nice response clarifying that caps and goggles are not in fact required for little ones after all, so I had received misinformation. I appreciate them taking the time to reach out and I am in the process of signing my child up for classes.

My son really loves all lessons at SafeSplash Swim School. He did not want to miss any days over there.

The staff is friendly and my 9-year old daughter enjoys the lessons.

Although our fist time there was a little frustrating, Karissa addressed the issue quickly and did everything she could to make sure we were happy. And my daughter loves her instructor!

We love sending our daughter to SafeSplash Swim School. It feels safe to send her there in terms of health (Covid safety measures). My daughter is getting friendly with water every week. She is l getiing familiar with water at this time and she is learning it pretty well. At home where she used to cry a lot when I washed her long hair now she is comfortable with it and no more crying. I like that sometimes when our schedules are tight Safesplash staff is flexible to accomodate us. Thank you!

Love it here! My older two (6 and 4) are progressing wonderfully. The teachers are amazing and fun. Our younger (2) is having a blast and can already keep up with the older two- wish we started them at her age! Very happy with the teachers and variety of times classes are offered. The location is clean and well-kept and the pool is warm 😊

My little one has been attending lessons at Safe Splash since she was crawling and in parent tot classes. Now she can swim across the pool, float on her back and get herself to the side and out safely. She knows safety rules and I feel so much better about taking her to our community pool this summer. The instructors are great and the facility is welcoming.

We love safe splash. my son loves it, he has so much fun and cant wait till his next class. the staff is all so nice, and helpful. and there is plenty of teachers and lifeguards to supervise each class.

Safe Splash Saddle Rock/Aurora is awesome! Our two sons do lessons here and we can not fault the staff or the facility! They have both learned so much and their skill level has improved immensely. The boys teacher, Amanda is caring, patient and warm and has taught the boys since they began 12 months ago and they love her! Weve also had a couple of other teachers as substitutes, Sam, Alissa and Iona whom have all been fabulous too, with the same qualities as Amanda!

The class sizes are small so lots of personal instruction. Many different times for sessions, always convenient. Friendly and great staff/instructors.

My kids LOVE swimming at SafeSplash! We enjoy talking with everyone that works here. They all seem to encourage and have fun with the kids. This location is obviously very well run! Thank you so much for all that you do for my kids our community!

This place is awesome. I have taken my kids here for a little over 7 months and I have seen crazy improvement. The instructors are great and the management is great. I would highly recommend.

Mr. Sam is the best swim coach for our son that weve experienced! He is patient and truly cares about his students! SafeSplash has always been honest, up front and goes the extra mile to ensure that your schedule needs are met. 10 Stars!!

The instructor is not really engaged in kids the basics. I was kicked out of this place because apparently only one parent can be in the building.

I’ve been going with my daughter for about 4 months now and she really enjoys her swim lessons with Amanda. The facility is clean and the water is warm. I highly recommend it!

I loved the little swim platforms, so ingenious. And that for the first time my son was okay being in a pool without me. I loved and appreciated the quick connection that was made between him and his instructor. And that the instructor took time to work with him and explain things and was very patient. And that in one swim lesson he learned more than he has in 6-7 prior Mommy and Me classes. And was willing to go further in his learning. I asked for information, to continue that first day, because the value of what my son will learn, the confidence factor and all in shorter time frame makes this a better value.

We thoroughly enjoyed our parent and me class. Instructor Todd was personable, attentive to all swimmers and parents, and upbeat. We appreciated the way he made the rounds, taking individual time with each family, as well as maintained a positive, encouraging, comforting, and engaging attitude throughout the class.

Miss lindsay is the best. She knows how to work with my girl. Cant wait to get my other dUghter started with them. Always clean and lots of fun events always going on.

I was so nervous about this but 5 min. After being there it all went away. This is the most amazing trusting place to learn to swim. I wish I could tell everyone to come here. 1st lesson for my 6 year old girl and she was in the water beginning to float after being terrified of water. I couldnt get her in the water but here its like magic I cant believe it thank you 🌷

I’ve had my son in swimming classes at Goldfish in Stapleton, I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately what my contacts and relatives said to me was true. The place is not inviting, the back walls look dirty and the classes seem to run into each other and the changing rooms were smelly. The girls at the front seem oblivious and uncaring. Overall a big disappointment, I hope the owners read this review and invest in this location there are many families who don’t want to use their facilities but would love to if they can remodel their location. Make it inviting for children

We have been going to Safe Splash, Southlands location for one year. There are three toilets accessible for girls and our daughter is young and often has to use the bathroom before and after her lesson. One of the toilets in the girls’ locker room has been out of order for several months, which leaves two options for our daughter. Periodically, kids dress in one of the stalls which leaves no option for toileting a little one in the locker room. In addition, the bathroom stall that is functional is often dirty (about a month ago, there was soiled paper on the floor of the stall). I told the young receptionist about that incident and she said, “okay” and proceeded to do nothing to address my concern. This evening, I asked the same receptionist what the plan was to repair the broken toilet and she replied, “ I don’t know...not anytime soon.” I chose to address my concern to the manager. When asked about the plan, he said they recently had a plumber assess the issue. There appears to be a plumbing issue and it will cost more money than they had planned on so....basically there is no plan to repair this anytime in the near future. It is incredibly frustrating that we pay $90/month and they won’t fix one out of three toilets for females due to the cost. I told him that he was losing my business, to which he replied, “I’m sorry to hear that”.....really? Bye bye Southlands Safe Splash at the end of the month and special thanks to our daughter’s instructor who is the only good thing going at that place right now, in my opinion. Please think twice before you sign up for lessons here.

The staff at SafeSplash swim school in Southlands, Aurora, is great! We have had all the support needed to help our son with swimming lessons. Whenever we have questions or comments our voices are heard.

My whole family absolutely loves this Safesplash location. Each time we walk into the building, we are met with a smile and a hello by staff that genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs. Lessons begin and end when they are supposed to, which families come to rely on. The staff at this Safesplash location is also amazing. Both of my girls have swim lessons with coach Julie who they absolutely love. Julie meets the kids where they are at with their skills and pushes them appropriately and in a supportive environment. My girls look forward to swim lessons each week because of coach Julie as well as the entire welcoming staff at this Safesplash location.

We love Safesplash. We’ve been going since my daughter was 14 months. Started with parent tot classes and she’s now in beginner 3 level at the age of 3 years old. She’s learned so much from Julie.

This was our first experience with swim school. We had positive and negative experiences. I love the events they put on and we had some some good instructors. We also had some not so great instructors. One in particular compaired my daughter to the other students and told her she wasnt trying and would never graduate the level...not the way to motivate a child. When going to a fun activity like swim becomes a weekly fight we stopped attending. The overall location was good but I cannot give a five when you might end up with an instructor who has no knowledge how to interact with and motivate or can be demeaning/demotivating to the children.

I understand the value and time of essence.We were 5 minutes late but they denied my kids for lesson. I literally told them its only 5 minutes but by the time I was convincing it was almost 10 minutes and they made that point saying its ten minutes late and they cannot give the kids the lesson. Its completely a discrimination . They did not realize I drove all the way from somewhere to get there with expectations to get my children a swim lesson. I would call it a poor management and lack of communication between employees about rules ,regulation and customer satisfaction. Is it a military time if thats the case they should tell the parents about no acceptance after 5 minutes,consider some kids even after ten minutes and no acceptance if 5 minutes late. I wouldnt recommend this place,my time has value too. Thx.

I loved the whole experience! Scheduling was a breeze and her first class they jump right in and start learning! Loved it!

Were happy with facility service and customer service but I dont think the management gives proper training for their techies. Please as the parent follow up with your kids and teachers. Some of the teachers can be verbal abusive. And there are not capable to teach kids.

I have never been so disappointed with a business and how it is run as I am with SafeSplash! First, I called almost 2 months ago & talked to a woman at the front. I told her I was trying to find services for my daughter who is on a CES Waiver. She told me that all goes through a manager & transferred me to a voicemail (I believe it was Maria). I left a message only to never hear from anyone. A few weeks ago I finally had time to call again & spoke to someone else. She apologized & said that the first person should have set up an account & sent a message to the manager with my case managers information so they could get details. That was on approximately April 12th & I did let her know my case manager was out of office until April 17th. She said not a problem. On April 20th I spoke to my case manager who says she has bedn in contact with Lya Pillot & if Im ok with it she will send her all the information to get us started. She sent the information & ccd me in the email plus sent me Ms. Pillots information so I could reach out. This was all on Friday, April 20th. Ms. Pillot is out of the office Friday & Saturday so on Sunday, April 22nd I give her a call to see what else we need & to let her know I am looking to put my other daughter in lessons. I left her a message & now we are almost to a week after my voicemail with me not hearing a word! I have no interest in sending either of my children here, there is no fix for this. I am just hoping this reaches someone other than Ms. Pillot so the company knows how things are being run.-Mylynda Herrick

445 classes start at 505. I arrive at 435 for a 445 class. No one knows anything, nor do they care to inform. Only a gaggle of high school kids holding clipboards, socializing or a couple in the back room spinning around in chairs playing with their phones. No adults here, who manages this place?

The instructors are fabulous, the stroke work is intense, and the progress is amazing!
