Even though I had zero pole experience, completely inflexible, and wouldnt consider myself sexy - none of that matters once you step into the studio. Every instructor is welcoming and will meet you where youre at.The few classes Ive attended have already boosted my confidence and the way I carry myself. And I HIGHLY recommend Sensual Slow Flow with Shannon - You will leave that class feeling more love for your body than you thought possible. Its so empowering.Finally, they are INCLUSIVE. For years Ive wanted to take pole dancing lessons and was always scared for two reasons; 1) Im a guy. 2) What if I look really silly?So happy a friend of mine finally made me pull the trigger. Did a private rental at the studio, it was a GREAT price and an amazing facility. It was super clean and had everything we needed for our pole session. The staff was helpful and reached out in advance and also assisted me with everything I needed remotely.

I was just in Austin for the weekend. Ive been dancing pole for 4 years and dong yoga for 6 years, yet never had I attended a class for either one. I decided to give it a try (both pole class and yoga class), and Im so glad I chose this studio! The instructors were so welcoming, knowledgeable, gave good cues and modifications for tricks or moves to make them harder or easier. Will certainly return to the studio whenever im in town!

We attended a pole dancing class for a bachelorette party today and IT. WAS. AWESOME. Callie was the absolute best and was so encouraging and taught us some really cool tricks! We really had a blast. If you’re looking for any of the classes they offer GO HERE! Highly recommend.

I attend the GloUp event here and I had so much fun! I meet some new friends, the teacher (Lily Sherpard) was amazing and encouraging, and it felt like a safe space of all types of folks to move our body and have fun.

I took the Slow Flow class with Shannon and it was amazing! I felt strong, sexy, and supported. The first hour was focused on conditioning and stretching and getting into the feeling, while the second hour was mostly a free dance time paired with some light choreography. Shannon. Was. Tremendous. She is a powerhouse of a woman and I felt deeply encouraged and cheered on by her. Ive just bought a 10 class pass and will be coming every week! I want everyone to come to this class!

I took my 1st class today and it was so much fun! The teacher was amazing, she immediately made me feel comfortable and I learned a dip spin and back knee hook in my first class because of the expert instruction. Im already addicted and cant wait to go back!

We booked a bachelorette chair tease party months in advance and day of we were only able to attend our 2 hour class for 45 mins. The instructor told us she was canceling out party due to people not wearing masks and not having a good time. It was made clear in the beginning of the class that masks were required and everyone attending had a mask and kept them on. A couple of the girls who were not actively participating in the instruction went outside for a smoke break and 5 mins later the instructor came to the bathroom to let us know that the entire party was getting canceled.After reading reviews I had really high hopes but I was personally dissapointed with how our party was treated from the moment we arrived. Needless to say, if you are coming for a special occasion or are celebrating please do not come here because you will be left without an experience.

Needed some pole time while visiting the area and Im so glad I came here! The space is open and relaxing. Even though I went to open studio (non-instructed), Erin was extremely helpful and accommodating. Id definitely go back.

I booked So Fly for my nieces bachelorette party. This place is amazing. The girls were feeling somewhat anxious when we got there, but Lucky knew exactly how to make them feel comfortable. She breaks the instructions down where everyone can progress and have a great time. The end result was a routine that the girls were proud of....I highly recommend So fly for any girls trip, bachelorette party or just for the heck of it.

Its rare for me to go out of my way to write a review, but its even more rare to come across such a wonderful space and community! This dance studio is everything you could be looking for, theres a wide variety of classes including dance, flexibility, and strength training.The classes are spread out throughout the day and week which makes it easy to work into your schedule. All the instructors are fantastic and happy to work with you wherever you are at in your aerial journey, and the classes are small so you get a lot of individual attention. The street parking is super easy which is also a plus in Austin.If youre thinking about coming in for a class just do it already! Its a good work out and so so much more.

So Fly is an absolutely gorgeous pole dance studio run by a group of very inspirational women! Learning and moving in this space with the beautiful people that attend every class has been some of the best therapy. I find myself recommending So Fly to everyone I meet!

She made all of us feel comfortable. My friend and I got there early enough to meet Joannie. Shes one of the owners. Each teacher has her own area of expertise, and every one of them knows how to adapt to each students fitness and knowledge level. They can help you with whatever goal you set for yourself, whether its reaching a certain fitness level, participating in a pole competition, or gaining a new level of confidence. By the way, the studio itself is open and airy with plenty of space to play in!

This studio has THE BEST instructors in Austin! I started training with these awesome ladies at another studio and Ive been patiently waiting for the day they would open their own place. I have never had better teachers. I’ve poled for years, but these teachers are the best. I mainly work with Luki (she’s wonderful), but I adore the other teachers as well. They’re very helpful and encouraging in different ways. I’d recommend trying lots of different classes to see what you like to do and what teacher you want to mainly work with. I was just at a class with Callie yesterday and she was trying hard to figure out a way I could be comfortable doing freestyle, and wanting to help others that struggle with that too. She’s very kind, they all are. Just an example I thought of for how much the teachers care. It completely feels like a family to me. Most of the students are really friendly too, and some of them feel like family to me as well. Whenever I go to Intermediate/Advanced pole, I think I won’t be good, I get really nervous before class, but with the help of the teachers I always do more than I thought I could. They help me believe in myself. I leave feeling confident and proud. If you want to pole, go here. There’s no better studio in Austin.

Stephanie is SUCH a great instructor - she tailors it not only to a persons skill level and age, but also to their fitness goals. And makes it all super fun! Space is great, although not in a great location, I dont love parking my car there. But inside is beautiful and really well maintained, unlike some other studios. Online tool is not as easy for users as mindbody, but not terrible.

Incredible and thorough instructors. Even if its your first time, they know how to walk everybody through the fundamentals and will have you moving like a pro by the end of the class. Joannie has an engaging and lively instructional attitude, so even if youre new to the material, youll be having fun. Cannot recommend enough.

Ive not been attending classes at soFly for very long, but the experience that Ive had has been great. I appreciate the smaller classes and when certain instructors will take time to walk you through the movements that are being taught. Ive attended classes before where an instructor will show you basically an entire routine and say ok, do it, but being someone with zero dance experience and who learns more from doing things repetitively, I appreciate when an instructor walks you through moves and goes at a slower pace. Everything about this studio is on point! The instructors are top notch. They are knowledgeable yet approachable and have a way to make even a super newbie like me feel comfortable. This is super hard to find. The space is sexy and inviting. I love that they have a wide variety of classes and instructors so no matter my mood there is a class that will work for me. Decided to try something new after getting burnt out from strength training and that led me to soFly! Every class has been challenging, but the instructors are so sweet and patient with me. I’ve had classes with Callie and Sara (they’re so cool!) and they break everything down so well. I feel like my body slowly gets these moves a little more each time I come back. I’m so happy I’ve found a place to let loose and do my thang. Can’t wait to take more classes from them :)

We took a private pole class as a bachelorette activity and it was very empowering! It was the first time for everyone in the group and Shannon was fantastically encouraging and modeled such comfort in her own body that we all quicky tapped into our sensuality and were able to comfortably express ourselves. We had so much fun warming up, learning a routine, and performing it, woth lots of time for pictures and videos. She answered questions enthusiastically, and made it a very personalized, energetic, empowering group activity. To top it off, she always asked permission before touching anyone and empowered us to make our own choices to feel loving and fun with our bodies.

What a great and fun experience! I wish I lived closer to attend on a regular basis! I recommend this to anyone wanting to try something new.

We each had our own pole which is what I recommend to get the best use of your time. The facility is clean and has a large open space and mirror so you can awkwardly watch yourself haha They gave us complimentary champagne at the end but I wasn’t sure if it was because of the occasion or because we paid for a private class. The class itself was awesome and Megan was really in tune with what the group was comfortable with. She decided to spice up the routine to make it a little sexier since my sister wanted it. Highly recommend this place and it’s reasonably priced!
