I love Dance Austin so much!! They have the most welcoming vibe in this studio. Even if you’re a beginner like me, the instructors and other dancers make you feel so comfortable and free :) WARNING: This place will make you fall in love with dancing!!

Honestly. This place is what’s up! I was sooo scared to take a class because of my own insecurities but once I walked in the atmosphere was great! The guy at the front desk was super chill and the instructor had great energy. I was so surprised when I saw girls of all sizes in there. I think the instructor did a great job of helping me out when needed without putting too much attention on me.I will def be back!

I expressed to Nikkie that I needed 2 choreographies and a package of 6 dance lessons to try out Dance Austin Studio. We agreed to 6 lessons and she informed me that I would need about 12 lessons to learn both choreographies. I understood, we agreed and I paid for 6 lessons. First 4 lessons went great, Ivana the instructor was awesome, but to this day, that was the last real lesson.Management is Unprofessional and Manipulative.Right before the 5th lesson we were told that our final lesson would be without choreography, unless we booked 6 more lessons? I expressed that I had paid for 6 private lessons and that adding limits to lessons already paid for was Unprofessional and against our original agreement. She apologized for the miscommunication but pressed us to purchase 6 more lessons.That week I discussed it with my family and we agreed to purchase 6 more lessons despite the Manipulation of our original agreement.Over the next few days we where told1. We would not be able to moving forward with either of the choreographys2. We would be allowed a touch up lesson for our final lesson even though we had not finished the choreography.3. I voiced that I was interested in discussing a possible solution if management was.4. And that day they issued a refund and left us with 2 incomplete choreographys.StaffIvana (The Instructor) - Although she was young, she was very knowledgeable, energetic and honestly was a great instructor. She wore a mask 24/7 (Covid) and was always on time.PriceSpent $500 for 6 private lessons. $1000 for 12 private lessons. For comparison, there is a place in the domain that charges $100+ per private lesson.LocationThe location is great.- 5 min drive from The Domain- 15 min drive north from Downtown.FacilityThey have 2 dance rooms, one small and one medium. We spent most of our time in the small but the rooms do a poor job at blocking sound.ConclusionI have an issue with how management has handled this entire process, not with the instructor or other staff members.Lastly my original offer to try and work something out is still on the table. They have my number and if they ever reach out I will update this review.

People laugh you out of the class on your first day and the instructors allow it. All i did was show up and try something new.

Took several hip hop classes. This place is AWESOME!Teachers are great and kind, routines are incredible, and the space is perfect. Would definitely recommend going here!

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. Super talented faculty and guest instructors that make working up a sweat a complete party.This place is perfect for absolute beginners and advanced dancers alike. Could not speak more highly of this studio. Love love love it.

Can not say enough good things!!! This is a dance studio with a real beating heart! Love the teachers, the place is always clean and in order and my 11 yr old is having the time of his life! We were looking for a studio where my son would have more boys in class and here every group is really diverse. Almost as many boys as girls! LOVE IT!

I really miss Austin Dance Studio. The teachers and the classes are so much fun. Highly recommended if you live in Austin and are interested learning Hip hop dance.

Chichi and Kori are skilled and motivating teachers. The choreographed dances are so fun and I highly recommend it. I have taken a set of classes there, taught me several new moves and I felt so accomplished, ready to make a dance video. :) The have excellent begin/int/advance level classes. I plan to enroll my teen in the classes with Nick, the male hiphop teacher.

I love this place! I took my first Zumba class here and they were fantastic--made me feel right at home, even though I got half the moves wrong. Theyve moved to a new location recently, but theyre still the best entry-level adult dance classes in Austin in my book!

Wow...this place changed my life! Their classes and private instructors are awesome...gave me the skills and confidence to become a great dancer.

This is a fun place to learn how to dance without being judged. The instructors are amazing!

My 7yo wants to take a hip hop dance class but we work during the day and they only offer 4:15pm classes for her age group. Bummer for the working class.
