My son and I are training together. From the very beginning to now, we have been extremely happy with Invictus Martial Arts. We do not live in the Cedar Park/Austin area, so we join remotely. The ease of joining remotely is far better than I anticipated. We are able to join live or, if life gets too hectic, we can watch the videos posted. I have seen my sons confidence level increase, he is motivated to exceed and he enjoys every second of it...as do I!!!We all know that this world can be cruel, especially for our kiddos. Bullying is everywhere, unfortunately. With training, I have seen a huge difference in both myself and my son. He knows, if it ever came to it, he can use his training for self defense. I have also seen his self esteem increase.Mr. Hackbarth and Mrs. Garza are downright awesome!! The joy they have for martial arts is amazing to watch. Even though were remote, it still feels like were there in person. The attention and direction we get is perfect. The instructors are able to watch while we train and offer guidance and praise.If youre looking for a great confidence building, get away from technology and off the couch activity for your kiddo or even yourself, I highly recommend Invictus Martial Arts. We break a sweat during each training session and it has overall really changed the structure of our household. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Great place! Great instructor! Great confidence booster! Great life changing activity!

We attend virtual MMA classes here. It almost feels like one on one training. The convenience of training at home is also a plus. Invictus really cares about your progress-- in the areas of strength, skill, confidence, and maturity-- and thats no different for their virtual students. Highly recommend.

The instructors are very humble, patient and knowledgable.My 4 year old really loves the martial art class and eagerly waits for it and moreover they make it learning with fun.They are strictly following Covid safety measures and the facility is super clean and nice.I highly recommend this place !!

I highly recommend INVICTUS MARTIAL ARTS and Dave Hackbarth. For starters, Dave is a high energy, super motivated individual that just commands your attention, just by being who he is. His character and moral code are definitely role model material and I cant think of a better personality for a martial arts instructor to have than that. My daughter has attended a couple of programs with Dave, Including a Self Defense class for women. Both Dave and Selynda were able to instill some self-confidence into teenage daughter, but I even saw her smiling numerous times during the class (and shes not much for smiling). Thanks Dave for what you are doing for our kids. As a role model, it is not just our children that get to benefit from your training... as a parent you even inspire me to try to better myself. Thank you for being a light, even when times are dark!

I attended a female self defense class, Mr. Hackbarth and Mrs. Garza were very knowledgeable around ways women can help protect themselves. We spend our time talking and demonstrating strategies to help keep us safe. Working with them has made me feel more confident in the ability to protect myself should something arise. Highly recommend working with them!!

Mr. Hackbarth and Mrs. Garza have both trained me and my daughter. My 10 year old daughter’s confidence level went through the roof and I saw her leadership abilities emerge under their tutelage. I also recently attended a women’s self defense course at Invictus and look forward to the next one!
