After having practiced in Europe and in San Antonio TX, I am so happy to have found this club in Austin. Love the sensei (teacher), the people and the approach to Aikido in general. I wholeheartedly recommend checking it out if you know and want to discover Aikido!

This dojo is an amazing place to train in aikido!! I started my aikido journey in Japan and after three years, I returned to the states and wanted to find a aikido dojo that was like the great aikido dojo in Japan. I can say with certainty that Austin Aikikai is this great aikido dojo. Damir sensei is a highly experienced, patient, and encouraging teacher. All of the teacher and students are welcoming, kind, and will meet you at your level, well seriously challenging you in your martial arts training. If you have ever been even remotely curious in Aikido, you will find no better dojo in Austin than Austin Aikikai.
