My 6 year old started Taekwondo classes at Impact a month back and has been attending virtually due to the pandemic. He looks forward to Mr. Fisher’s classes and is always excited to show us what he is learning. It’s amazing how quickly he is hooked on and needs no coaxing from us. Impact martial arts has been a welcome addition to our activities! Thank you for the great classes !

My children has enrolled in this academy. They have been participating for 8 months and they fully love it. Not only are they having fun, but theyre being positively influenced at the same time. Last year my 7 year old son had great difficulty concentrating in school, and his teacher and I were considering the possibility of holding him back a year. In the last few months his concentration has improved and he is doing much better in school. I am thankful to them keeping their students accountable for their actions not only in class but out in the world as well. I think Impact Martial Arts is the great community if want get fit & grow in life.

My 7 year old daughter has been with Impact Martial Arts for almost 2 years, which in and of itself, says a lot. Shes been through the Little Dragons program and now she is in black belt training. We couldnt be happier with, nor could we recommend Impact Martial Arts more. Greg Fisher is a fantastic teacher who has the perfect demeanor for his chosen profession. The kids LOVE him and respect him and most of all.... they are LEARNING skill, respect and discipline. Again... we couldnt recommend Impact Martial Arts more.

I signed up for classes at Impact Martial Arts with my seven year old daughter because I wanted a daddy-daughter activity we could do together, and because I thought it might help her learn self-discipline and to control her body better (she has some hyperactivity issues). Turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. They offer lots of classes that are flexible with my schedule and didnt have any problem with me attending the kids class with my daughter or letting my daughter attend the all-ages class with me. And Greg Fisher is a fantastic teacher and great with kids. He maintains both discipline and fun, and is very patient with large groups of bouncy, talkative little kids. Both I and my daughter have learned a ton. If youre looking for a great martial arts school in Northwest Austin, this is the place to come!

I was a student here for several years and loved every minute of it. I drove from Dripping Springs to workout here several times per week. I only stopped training after the birth of my two kids and time restrictions wouldnt permit the commute. Mr. Fisher is a wonderful instructor for adults and children alike. I wish I was closer to his location so I and my entire family could train with him.

I joined their 3 months bootcamp and i couldnt complete the programme. After 3 months, they kept charge me $59 a month. When i asked them, they told me that the programme is for a year and i already signed and cant cancel. Its been more than a year and they still charge $59 a month. This is kind of robbery!

My child and I have been attending the family lessons at Impact Martial Arts Austin for the past year. During this time, I have lost about 10 pounds of unwanted weight and my child has gained the ability to focus on executing a series of physical moves.Mr. Greg Fisher is an excellent teacher who has the rare ability to effectively teach classes that contain a mixture of ages, skill levels, and physical capabilities. He ensures that all students in the class get good exercise and make steady progress towards their goals. My child and I look forward to each taekwondo session because we enjoy the time together with our friends.

Both my children are students at Impact Martial Arts. The self confidence they have developed while learning patience and discipline is amazing. Greg is good about pulling the best out of the students and building their sense of self worth. We simply started classes as a way to build confidence in our older son, but now both children are excitedly learning new techniques and earning higher level belts! I would recommend Greg Fisher and Impact Martial Arts to anyone.

Impact Martial Art is not only about martial art learning techniques but a school of life as well. I watch my son growing at many levels. He is beautiful to watch when he is performing patterns and when he is sparring, he is very calm and observing, he grasp people behavior with philosophy, he changed from a just any kid to a responsible and confident kid. He would not be there without dedication of Mr. Fisher and his outstanding team of instructors. They handle kids professionally and humanly ( understanding weaknesses and strengths, work on them, and encouragements). I also made friends with many happy parents. I think Marc can go to the Olympics if he wanted to. So Good Job IMAA, I am so proud of you!

When we moved from Tampa to Austin, my son Bobby was afraid he would never find a studio he loved as much as his old one. We found Mr. Fisher at Impact Martial Arts and now he can’t see himself being anywhere else. In the year and a half since Bobby has been a student of Mr. Fisher, he has grown and learned more than I ever thought possible. Mr. Fisher is an amazing instructor who is very enthusiastic and brings the best out in all of his students. It is a true family atmosphere and we are so pleased that we found this studio. We highly recommend Impact Martial Arts!!!

My son earned his 2nd degree black belt under the guidance of Mr. Fisher. He also successfully competed for TEAM USA along with Mr. Fisher, traveling and training beside him and the expert and positive guidance provided by the United TaeKwonDo Alliance. Not only did my son receive excellent martial arts training, but I have to say that he has had some excellent role models within Impact -- Mr. Fisher and Mr. Creamer (among many) provided encouragement and interest that was greatly appreciated. We spent many happy years at Impact and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have had the pleasure of training at Impact Arts for almost a decade now and I can say, without a doubt, that Mr. Fisher is the best Tae Kwon Do instructor in the Austin area. I was looking for a cardio workout that was different than what Ive always done in the past. I didnt know what to expect walking into the facility as its been quite a while since I had any sort of martial arts training. The staff was friendly, the facility was very clean. And let me tell you, it was the BEST cardio workout Ive had in years! The stretching was great for my flexibility, the structure of the class was very discipline and interacting, and the defense training was a big stress relief and a ton of fun. I can see this being a part of my weekly strength and cardio workouts as a long term plan for myself and my son. Id highly recommend this studio for anyone and all ages.

Impact Martial Arts is the best martial arts school that I have attended. Mr. Fisher’s methodical approach to martial arts has helped me to grow as a fighter. The adult MMA course is a great class that teaches you ground fighting and kickboxing techniques. The MMA Fit course is a fast passed course that will help improve your cardio and strength. I would recommend these classes to any adult that has the desire to get in great shape.

Impact Martial Arts is an excellent martial arts school, and Mr. Greg Fisher is a great teacher. I attend the family tae kwon do classes with my two children (ages 6 & 7) and enjoy the classes immensely. Mr. Fisher works to keep the kids focused but still having fun and also throws out useful info on body mechanics, fitness, and TKD fundamentals while were training. I feel like I leave every class having learned something new.I have also observed the 4-5 yr old class (Little Dragons!) and been impressed with his ability to manage a room full of crazy little kids. I dont think I could do it! As soon as my youngest turns 4 well be signing him up for that class.Ive only done a couple of the MMA classes so far, but what I liked about it was the high intensity of the workout and the good attitudes of all the other students. You feel very comfortable going to that class as a beginner, but just be prepared to sweat!Mr. Fisher clearly knows his stuff when it comes to TKD, and he does a great job teaching to the level of his student, whether beginner or advanced, kid or adult.I visited a lot of the schools in the surrounding area before choosing Impact Martial Arts, and a lot of my decision was due to Mr. Fishers teaching style in class that creates a positive and challenging environment.
