Nurturing, caring and quite exceptional.I cant say enough good things about First Foundations. They have an excellent curriculum / environment that encourages creativity, compassion, fundamental academic achievement, teamwork, leadership, individual excellence; and builds character. The facilities are extremely clean and modern. They have small classes. The teachers are professional and experienced. There are dedicated music and Spanish instructors on staff.My son attends First Foundations Preschool and he loves his teacher and the school. Being an active child, he has required (and received) much patience from his teacher and staff. Every staff member has been supportive and cares deeply about his success. His teachers communicate with us often and candidly about his progress, challenges and successes.The teachers, administration and staff at First Foundations love each and every child they teach. They dont just love kids in general, but they truly love each child and give their all to teach and care for each little one.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about FFP!! The teachers and staff are outstanding. My son spent 2 wonderful years here and now its my daughters turn. The school itself is immaculate and warming. It makes me happy just walking in the door. The teachers are loving and fun and make you feel at complete ease when you leave your kiddos with them. My daughter is loving that she gets to go to music and Spanish each week and she is always excited to see her friends. I love the curriculum the teachers teach and I can see the benefits of a Christian based school in both of my kids. Highly recommend this preschool.

Love this school! Hidden gem of North Austin. Principal has extensive background as a teacher. Long retention rate for the quality teachers that work here. They love on the kids and meet them where they are. Offers music and Spanish as well as chapel. Bonus is free drive through drop off and/or pick up (as parking lot is small), which is a blessing for parents that have smaller siblings that sleep during those times. Love the time slots for school (9:15 or 9:45). Coming from the lake area...we have no traffic attending the 9:45am-1:45pm time slot for school. So glad I was recommended to tour this exceptional preschool. They use Abeka curriculum which I love and used as a child. I would not hesitate to tour and consider this school if you live in N. Austin area!

My son has been attending First Foundations Preschool since 2015. I cannot recommend this school enough for those looking for THE BEST preschool in Austin. This school has exemplary teachers that genuinely care for their students and families. My son and I are greeted by name with a smile every morning when we walk into school. This is a school with a Christian foundation, that is well equipped to meet your child where they are. My son had difficulties at his previous school and that completely changed after attending First Foundations. The teachers and staff really worked with him and our family to help him. He has made tremendous growth developmentally, academically, and socially. I have a younger daughter that is two (not quite of age to attend) that loves walking her big brother to school and never wants to leave. Im glad we get to spend a few more years at this amazing school with my younger child. This school has been an answer to prayers for our family.

Teachers stay for many years and really love the kids. It shows in all aspects of what they do. They have a good mix of fun, academics, and a gentle but firm approach to discipline. We have visited and attended many preschools in the last eight years, and this one had the best balance, with low turnover even amongst the teacher aides, most of whom are fully capable of being lead teachers as well. The kids are encouraged to have good social behaviors with each other (I unfortunately witnessed schools where this was not monitored as well). In addition, the facilities are maintained well and it feels relatively secure with a locked front door and no unsecured sidewalks to playgrounds like many other places have.

So far, my Kid is so eager to get to school the day of, I can hardly contain him. His teacher, and the rest of the staff are full of smiles, and so sweet. I wish it wasnt only 2 days a week, and it is very expensive, but you cant put a limit to the foundation education of your child. The activities are so much fun for his age group. They are very organized, clean, and beautiful grounds and interior. Its safely tucked away behind low traffic establishments, and away from major highways, but still incredibly easy to get to.Makes me wish I was a little kid so I could go and enjoy music class again!

Trusting your preschooler with someone else is a big decision. Choosing First Foundations was the BEST decision we could have made. Preschool is so much more than learning your alphabet and numbers.Children learn how to interact with others and build on their independence. The staff pour into each child to make sure they are nurtured every step of the way. From the moment they walk in, they are greeted by the director and staff who amazingly know every childs name. Ive caught glimpses of the teachers praying together before the children arrive. The facility is magical, with colorful art down the hallways, two playscapes, and each classroom carefully decorated by the teachers. Every staff member loves her job, and it absolutely shows. I couldnt believe how affordable FFP is either. They are worth their weight in gold for the pure joy they have brought to our little one.

Our family absolutely LOVES First Foundations!! I have 3 children and each have attended since they were 3 years old. The teachers are SO amazing and caring. Just walking into the school you sense the love from Steffani, the teachers and staff. Everyone (including the children) are happy and engaged in learning. All of my children attended through Kinder and I believe they were all very well prepared when it was time to move to 1st grade. Steffani is a hands on owner of the school and it is her priority to ensure she has the best teachers in place. I literally cried my eyes out when my youngest son graduated from Kinder because I was so sad we wouldnt be returning to this fabulous school. I have joked that I want to have another child just so I can raise another child through First Foundations. Its that good!!

I cannot speak more highly of First Foundations Preschool! After 3 years of attending, we never want to leave, and wish they had an elementary school as well. My children have attended other schools but have never been as thrilled to get to school every morning as they are at FFP. I have been amazed by the high caliber teachers that genuinely love the kids, and are dedicated to their development. They teach them the required academics in such thoughtful and creative ways while also building in an important Christian foundation. The teachers also care about the families at the school in addition to the children themselves. I was so impressed with how happy the teachers were to be working at FFP. The positive attitudes and joy within the school start from top, and you just feel it radiate throughout the entire building. The environment is so warm and inviting, and I knew the minute that I walked in for a tour that I had to enroll. I would recommend First Foundations to anyone looking for a school with absolutely no hesitation. Don’t look anywhere else because this is where you need to be!
