I went there i wish it did not shut down i miss it was my 2nd home

I can only speak to the infant class, but I will tell you, we miss it dearly now that weve moved. As a first time parent, the things you want most in an infant class- COMMUNICATION, provider-infant interaction, and a provider being invested in your child. We got all of that from Ms. Donna, Ms. Karen and Ms. Taylor. They kept us updated with any new changes they noticed in our son and expressed worry if anything seemed out of the norm. They sent us photos during our first week (and even later on) to help us adjust to leaving him in daycare. Our infant logs were always complete and informative. Ms Donna helped us figure out an appropriate feeding amount for our son who was transitioning from breast to bottle (so we were not quite sure how much he ate during each feeding) and kept my son pretty regimented on his nap schedule (which is even difficult to do in the comfort of our own home). They definitely talk/sing to those babies throughout the day, and my son would smile every morning when we dropped him off with Ms. Donna. Oh, and they also do cute crafts with the children so parents can take home little memories of their little ones. We loved it. Cant say more positive things about it, especially now that were looking at daycares now and having a difficult time finding one of the same caliber. The only minor complaint that I have is that one of the teachers wears quite a bit of perfume or scented lotion, so my son would smell like perfume when he got home everyday. He never had a reaction or anything, just smelt like flowers.

My son went there for two years and absolutely loved it. It was so much better than all the regular big name pre-schools that try to make every kid learn in the same box. It has an old school vibe that feels homey and comfortable. We were thrilled with the experience.

Love love smith academy! Our son has been going here since he was a baby and he’s done so well, we love the staff and teachers.

This is not a school I would recommend to send your children too. The teacher does not care about your children as much as you think. Always on there phones!! I have walked in and seen employers just sitting around talking and eating in the office. The teachers are mean to the kids and say mean things to them. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!! It needs to be shut down in my personal opinion.

My Savanah currently goes here and she loves it.....and I do too.... I love how she loves going to school... shes always ready to get to her school...and her grades are awesome BC she has very awesome and careing loving teachers.that get her where she needs to be.

My grandson currently attends Smith Academy and loves it, so do i!
