I recently found out that 66 tall football players can push and hit 5 foot tall little girls and threaten to rape them and since they are on the team they are protected Ive actually been told by staff that I have to wait for a physical injury or actual rape before staff will intervene. And I know shes not the only one staff allows anyone that complains to be intimidated into dropping their complaints to protect their athletes. I hope the administration and myself can come to a satisfactory resolution to protect these young ladies from sexual abuse and retaliation because Im sure if my attorney conducts depositions we will find MORE than just assaults and ATTEMPTED RAPES.

We were watching CNN Student News and since it was Friday, the end if it had REALLY good music that me and my friend loved. So the music was playing and right atvthe climax of the track she closes the tab. Me and my friends dreams were shattered as we cryed.

I dpnt go here, i go to BJHS (Beardsley junior high) and Im in band amd we had to collaberate with NHS and standard ms for the north of the river christmas parade (where we played frosty the snowman)and the people here are very nice and funny from what ive experienced at this school

I feel their discipline policy leaves a lot to be desired. Kern High School District is supposed to be utilizing PBIS which stands for Posibtive Behavior Intervention System and Restorative Justice, but I did not witness North utilizing any of these programs. The Dean is very inconstistent and phones parents prior to having her facts. The courses were rigorous, but the PE teacher for Freshmen girls has lost sight of why she became a teacher - to help students!!!

I dont go to NHS but I was presented with a suggestion of going there, I live a couple hundred miles away but I have family really close to NHS so if I did attend, and I am thinking about it, I would like to know the types of programs and career builders they offer at this school, there are some good and bad reviews on here and I just really want to know what they offer because the website for North High School only focuses on athletics and I myself am more of an artist girl and the only deal breaker for me going or not would be whether NHS has a choir program or not, if anyone has this information please reply oh and I would also like to know if NHS has an MBA (marketing and business academy)

I am a senior at this school and I’ve found out that a kid is touching on girls without their consent and is blaming it on mental issues he doesn’t have this has been reported several times and nothing has been done about it.

Very unsafe place to be. Some kids skip school because of the excessive violence and annual race wars. Other than that its meh

Very racist people. I am so glad I didnt not enroll into that terrible environment.
